*steps up onto soapbox*

Ahem...as most of you would agree, the reason most of us have become a member of this community is to play games. And not just play games, but play them together as characters and DMs.

Given that, there is always attrition in this community that is inevitable. As a result, if this community is to persist, we need to get more players to join and stay with this community.

Which leads me to thanking Poetic Collossus. This month, he has run TEN one-shot sessions with thirty-three different players. While I know not all these players were new to the site, it gives many of them an opportunity to experience what this site is all about.

So let's thank PC. GREAT JOB THIS MONTH. Thank you

*applauds vigorously*

*steps down off soapbox*

That is an amazing amount of effort you have put into the community, PC.

And I am one of the those that have been fortunate enought to get into one of his games. Let me tell you, they are great! One of the best experiences I have ever had playing NWN.

Three cheers for Poetic Colossus!

I second or rather forth the comments made by BBP and would also like to thank PC for running these one-shots this month. I was apart of the the group that tried it first as a beta-tester and even then knew it would be something everyone would enjoy. Now heres to hopes that he will continue to run them Great job PC

Did he run that one again?

I'm so sorry I took a break for a while now. I was part of the group Tarridus was in and it was an amazing module, both in terms of the module and its running. We ran out of time and I was dying to know how it ended.

Crap! I still need to know!

Impressive. I intended to run more one-shot games this month, but stuff always comes up, and I ended up barely having time to update my core campaigns. Great job, sets a high bar for the rest of us

wow...thanks! I appreciate your kind words, all of you. The real star was Lilivati who was my co-dm for the runnings of the mod...she really made Jander and the gypsy madam come to life!

Ravenloft was always one of my favs...hopefully I can get the sequel to it out soon! Needless to say, without such a great community like the one we have here at NWC, it would all be for naught.

ps-Lazy! Setting the bar high for DM's like you?! Lol..this, from the guy who was my first DM and who wrote the NWC book on DM'ing! Get real!

Stop trying to avoid your praise PC! You built the mod and ran it solo for many of the games, and did a fabulous job might I add. I was fortunate enough to be able to both play and later co-DM the Ravenloft game, so I should know.

played one of those one shot games with P.C. as DM as Merim the Halfling Rogue and it was a lot of fun.

The DM(s) was great, the Mod was a nice little, late night, lights off, speakers cranking mod and I was fortunate to have some good players and Role Players alongside me

i'm not new at all to RPGs having played D&D for years, then the CRPGs including the entire NWN plus expansions, but playing online is a different experience from all that and being a newbie (about 5 online games played to day) can be intimidating ... P.C. made it an easy transition and is one of the DMs that has really given me an appetite for more online RPGing

now I just need to find a regular campaign to get involved with ... that would take the experience to the next level
