I have dwlded the DMFI101 mod and finished it. Unfortunately there has been no DM101 game scheduled since I joined last year. I did get the Player 101 class. I am very much interested in CDMing. I am hoping that the time you set for this will work out for me. I play in a campaign on Sunday nights. I also wonder if a server on dial-up can host a game. I have hosted some games for my family and not had any problems. I just got my server up and running about a month ago. I am still a bit afraid to schedule a game on NWC. So any training I can get would be a plus.

| Sure you can host with a dial-up, but I would recommend you have someone with broadband host instead. The players will appreciate you for it. You'll still be the DM and you'll have to instruct the host on how you like the server interface setup, but it will be worth it. Good luck. Arawen, if I can help in any way just holler.

I regret that I have had to delay moving forward with this class due to real life issues. I now have a working computer but not time to play games for the next while. As a community we can develop a curriculum and create a classroom mod, but on my end, finding time to run classes will be very difficult. I've appreciated all of the offers to help with the course and I will post my development notes as I have time. Ultimately, I'd encourage everyone who is interested in DMing to try it. If you can play NWN, you can DM. There are many DM-Friendly modules available that make starting easy: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.DMFM Also, you can always find DMs on the forums here who can answer your questions. In addition, feel free to PM active DMs at NWC and see if you can help or observe. Playing in DMed games can give you a chance to see a DM in action. Also, there are frequently advertisements for co-DMs on these forums. To everyone who came to this thread seeking a DM class in the near future, I extend a warm welcome. Please make yourselves at home at NWC and feel free to start DMing. I DMed my first game here without any formal instruction and it was amazing fun. I hope that you will have enjoyable experiences at NWC as well. - Arawen
