Pirates of the Sword Coast hakpack made public

This was good, of Bioware. I urge everyone that buys this one to write Bioware an email telling them you bought it since they released the content to the public for us to build with.
If you have not bought a premium module, this is a good reason to do so, that and all the programmers at Bioware need to get paid
Even if you do not buy the module, send them an email letting them know this is what we want in the future.

That's fine news. I was wondering if they would release it as I played the mod. Nice creatures, tiles and such.

On a related note, I would say that the Pirates mod is easily my favorite of the premiums. Funny, dramatic, and solidly entertaining. Well worth the sawbuck.

Selric,

Yes and no. They made, as I understand it, an 'underwater caverns' tileset, I think... but the other 'underwater' tileset is just the desert with clever lighting and fog settings.

The hak does come with a very nice 'tropical' type ocean tileset though, and sharks and such... Lot of the content from DLA. Quality stuff.

Also. They are working on getting the control files (.2da, .set, .itp etc) from the encrypted hak to make them available--there was a mess-up in the release... taking some time because Rob Bartel is on vacation.

And *deep breath* it appears to be CEP compatible *gasps*.
But, I could be wrong, anyone know about this?
In the toolset it does not report any conflicting resources, but this may be because of the encrypted stuff?

I just tried extracting the mako shark from the main Pirates shark hak on the Vault - and boy, are those sharks GREAT! Oraweb, if you're listening, get those sharks into U3! The animation looks very good, and they even come with custom hit and water sounds.

I hope you are kidding...

Do a search on the vault for Oraweb, and you will find the fabeled series U1-Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, U2-Danger at Dunwater and U3-The Final Enemy (that mostly takes place underwater). They are classic PnP mods that Oraweb has convereted to NWN bach when it was just NWN and no expansions.

Good mods... hightly recommended.

But I'm sure you already knew that... right?

DB.

I knew U3 wasn't a band but with U2's promoting world issues tour I thought it might make a funny joke. I didn't know that U3 was that particular module though hearing the lingo used on this community, any letter followed by a number is probably a D&D module conversion. I've heard of the saltmarsh one though never felt compelled to download it though I might get U3 to look at their underwater atmosphere.

Please people, remain on topic or simply stay off the thread. There aren't enough Moderators to be everywhere so exercise a bit of judgement. Joke or not, if you aren't contributing to the thread, put it in your own campaign forum.
