Same for this one as well. Jason Barlow BioWare Client Care Specialist:
| Each participant in a LAN game will require a copy of the module. Remember that this module need to connect to the internet for authentication when starting a new game or loading a saved game. |
| But the author of the "Random Dungeon Generator", Elidrin, was a collaborator on the "Infinite Dungeon" module. His version 9 mod is geared toward multi-player sessions. You can find it here. http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=modules.Detail&id=3885

Never played any of this series, but the Endless Nights series was a lot of fun, designed more for solo though.

I may get it... It does look like a lot of fun. Then again, you could just DL the free one from the vault. It's the same author.

It is... mostly. It's the 9th version of the RDGM (random dungeon generator mod) that he built. The mod you can buy from Bioware is the 10th version of it and has a few extra bells and whistles in it. I don't know about a story or not, but the description at Bioware doesn't make the Premium version sound like it has a plot either.

I bought infinite dungeons and I think it was worth it. I was actually hoping to plan an NWN connections game on Sunday/Monday. If you're interested, send me a PM. It's only 7.99, and so far seems well worth the money. I'll be posting my multiplayer game soon for anyone who wants to join.

I bought and played it briefly - enjoyed it a lot. Also tried the DM Client - it CAN be used as a DM! Mind you, no DMFI or anything I can find, but it is multiplayer and DM compatible - and intended for 1-4 players. There's an overarching storyline - not a big one, but a solid one as far as I can see. The on-the-fly dungeon creation is nothing less than astonishing - it's amazing they can script what they did. It very much reminds me of the good old first edition DMG random dungeon generator. Also reminds me of Nethack - plenty of tipping of the hat to Nethack and roguelike games tucked into it. Worth the money, but ONLY if you want a random dungeon - if that's not your thing, DON'T BUY IT. Plenty of opportunity for multiplayer roleplay, but it IS essentially a hack-and-slash. ONE WARNING: For now, you CAN'T play it with the Dedicated Server software - you have to go multiplayer as a Player Client or DM Client. They're working on it, but no promises.

I wouldn't buy it for solo play, personally, but multiplay should compensate for the lack of much of a story. Besides, I've never bought Bio-Premium content before. It's about time I sent a "thank you" for all their support over the years. Purchased, downloaded, installed, and tested briefly in single-play. My placeholder is signed up for the game.
