Not much surprising there (although given Atari's past history with its games, I thought it funny that he used the word "custodian" could have a double meaning). But I am glad to see them publicly committing to continued support for NWN2. Not that I expected anything different; I agree that NWN2 was basically a life-or-death release for struggling Atari. I do feel that they will only continue their support to the point at which their bean counters tell them that it is profitable to do so.
I like how the Vault hit him first with a bunch of uncomfortable questions about the NWN1 DD fiasco; I thought that Jon dodged them well enough... what could he say? The fact is, Atari screwed over the NWN1 community in order to focus its attention on NWN2 and maximize future sales.
Anybody know what other titles Atari has in development right now?
I think they a console title in the works... a race game, if I am not mistaken, but other then that, I don't konw.
I also like how the Vault asked him hard questions about past games that Atari didn't do a good job supporting. Couple that with the question about thier "financial" secuity, and I thought it was a pretty good interveiw, if not a bit short.
