The last couple of days I've suddenly not been able to connect to gamespy and tonite I wasn't able to do DC to a session. I am able to connect to sites on my history and favorites list ok still.
Anyone else have this problem?
I've not updated or adjusted my firewall lately, nor added any other software of note.
Turning off my firewall doesn't resolve the problem either.
In the past, I've occasionally not been able to connect to gamespy for short periods of times, so wondering if this is a gamespy side issue?
Any insights would be appreciated,

It's a GSA issue. The best I can suggest, if this only happens occasionaly, is to either try another server to see if it's tied to a specific server or to exit to the main menu, then try reconnecting to GSA.

I had a similar problem--couldn't connect to a particular game via direct connect, even though I could get to Gamespy and connect to other games. I posted a full description on the NWN2 Tech Support board:

Never did get a response, so I can't offer you any solutions, but you are at least not alone. If it's any consolation, I was able to connect to that game just fine this week.

I had a smilar problem a week ago, I had to delete and reload my antivirus/internet security software to resolve the issue.

Well whatever the problem was, it's magically cleared up today without anything adjusted on my end. *shrugs*
