Great resources, Mulu. I've used most of those plug-ins, but we really need a quasi-"final" version from Obsidian so that the plug-ins remain stable. It sucked to have to stop using a great plug-in because a patch broke all of them, and some of the best plug-in authors use other language editions of NWN2, which haven't been getting patches until later.

One of the things that sucks (if my understanding is correct) is that all custom VFX used in a mod have to be downloaded by the players in addition to the walkmesh.

I currently plan to try the NWN2 toolset again as soon as I finish the NWN1 campaign I'm working on (three months or so from now, I'd say). Hopefully 1.04 and 1.05 will be out by then, the DM Client will be working with a complete DMFI package available, and Mulu's list here will be three times as long as it is now.

Somebody want to undertake the task of updating this list? A few minutes at the Vault showed that there was some cool new stuff out there, and I suspect that some of the older packages are not being supported (all plug-ins, for example, need to be updated with each patch).

I admit my interest is selfish, as I am going to be returning to NWN2's toolset next month.

Not so much a resource as a technique: Using photoshop and YATT to build and texture an outdoor area. From ALFA. This would be the layout stage. Texturing would come later.

DO NOT BOTHER with the Bioware page on adding hidden doors to your mod. It's hopelessly out of date. I just spent 3 days documenting the process by trial and error and this is what I came up with...
