I would like to say congrats to Baldecaran for his candidacy for the Module of the Year Award. I find it very cool that one of our own (if we may claim him) has received this attention.
I strongly urge everyone to go and vote for him (you might should have played the mod... but that's not required ) I certainly would suggest stuffing the ballot box... then then again...
Seriously, I just wanted to say congrats to Balde. I have been playing with Blade for several years now, and I have played his module. It's a great mod with many twists and turns. If you haven't tried it, then I suggest that you do.
Is it okay to mention someone else? The name of the topic seems to allow it, but I'll edit this out if not.
The Light Reborn: Legends, Bruce Nielson's 5th installment of the series, is also a candidate. Bruce ran the module twice on NWC as DM during the last part of 2006. Along with all the times he's run the previous modules on NWC, I think it safe to say that he qualifies as "one of our own".
It's not going to win, let's be realistic. But if you've ever been touched by any of the Light Reborn series, perhaps you should check out the latest one and give Bruce a bit of encouragement.
I played in one of the tests of The Light Reborn: Legends. It was fresh and original with loads of rp opportunities. In addition, it really made you look at yourself, as a player, and at how your character would react. I voted for it. It's just that good!
well... for my 2 bits worth, what I'd really like to see is LOTS of votes for MP modules. Us Multi-player folk are sort of a minority in the gameworld, and often too quiet. Not that this particular thing makes a big difference, but I'd really like to see something MP as "mod of the year".
