Recently I've experienced long load times and slowdowns on NWC. A few others have commented on similar problems.
I've contacted Rizzen and he said that he would look into it, and that Gilaun might be able to do some disk cleanup or a reboot of the server boxes.

My gaming group and I (so not just me) experienced a big site slowdown for about a week as well, to the point where it was getting unusable (i.e. 1 minute for it to respond to a click). Things seemed to right themselves earlier this week, though.
