From the Bioboards:
On Monday we released the 1.06 patch as a beta to the community. It contains a lot of fixes and new features for the builders in the community, chief among them the addition of the terrain undo functionality. With this undo capability, you now have five levels of undo when working with terrain sculpting, texturing, water and grass. Other things you may find range from script additions for builders and DMs to a nice little toolset feature that allows you to create a blueprint out of a spawned in creature in the toolset. Slowly but surely, we are getting there. |

I had read somewhere that most of the serious DMC fixes that were in the pipeline are being scheduled for 1.07 now. Any comments from folks who have been following the progress of the client more closely? I am seeing a lot of threads on the Bioboards about persistent DMC crashes on area transition, but I know that's anecdotal evidence at best.

I'm not really following it LB. I just like to post news when I see it at other sites.

DMC fixes are scheduled for 1.07, last I checked. That occurred when the original 1.06 feature list was split up due to its size.

| For playtesting, I've walked through my entire module using the DM client without crashing. While doing so I tried out almost all of the various context menu functions (including DMFI). However, I did crash (actually, I froze) when I multi-selected about 10 NPCs and tried to make them walk. I haven't tried to reproduce this yet.
