OOC: I got no problem with that; maybe we'll be kept a while on the doorstep of the Wizard's Tower or in the waiting room and I'll be able to send a few of you off to the pawn shops and the like. (Does seem weird that Zala would take everything. Isn't it against the law in Camar to sell weapons and armour? We might have to go looking for a Legitimate Businessman or a Black Market or something.)

OOC: We fought undead pirates! Controlled by the ghost of some ancient Blackbeard-esque pirate who lived on a small island in the river, who we couldn't deal with. He seemed concerned with reclaiming all of his lost booty, which included an ancient coin that was apparently part of the hoard carried by the ship that we heard about; the ship carrying gold ingots. We recovered a goodly amount of the gold without much trouble, though, and I was planning to give it back to the guy who owns it - he lives in Camar. The pirate ghost is still a threat, however; we may have destroyed his crew, but he can probably get another one with which to attack any ships that pass. Current plan is to ask the guy in Camar where the hell he got that ancient coin that caused the pirate to attack his ship, and if he has any others or knows where they are. If we can bring the ghost's ancient hoard back together, perhaps he'll bugger off. That is, of course, assuming we're still around; we're delivering the Tablet to Maldrigar now. It's likely that it'll take a while for him to figure out, though, so perhaps we'll have some spare time. Lady Tertullia even invited us to a festival in a couple of weeks, which might be worth staying for. We also found a few items you'd likely be interested in, including a Cleric-y healing rod and an amulet dedicated to Soleus that gives an armour bonus against Evil, which is both for Paladins and Clerics. In theory Joe could use that, but I'm not sure if Joe is himself aware that he could, so it's yours if y'want it!

Oddly enough I just watch an episode of MythBusters on Pirates... they did some pretty funny stuff. If you get the chance to watch the episode, it's Pirates Episode 2. They busted a lot of myths; but, the few that were plausible or confirmed or plausible were pretty cool.

The meeting with the High Priest had not gone badly, but Vulcanos was not satisfied. He wasn't convinced the outlanders would stay for long, even though it seemed they could do some very good things for Camar if they did. And while Vulcanos didn't always see a need to make good things happen for others, in this particular case there was a very good correlation between what was good for Camar and what was good for Vulcanos. Not to mention that the outlanders piqued his love of knowledge. I need to find out more about their world...and maybe convince them this one is not a bad place to spend some more time...

| Oops. Well, I wish someone had noticed it earlier, since I can't change it now, but yes, it was a glitch, and we'll play at the usual time tonight.

| Sorry, but with being sick and all, I didn't pay attention to the time/day. All I want to know is, did we enjoy the session?

Adrian hears the Lieutenant and smiles, the idea of a party was great, he even rubs his hands, but in a blink the smile erases from his face, remembering the huge scar he have on his chest. Hesitation came to him because of it, not a good look, as matter of fact, a terrible thing to look at. However, this feeling was passenger, no longer than few minutes until Adrian recovers his classic enthusiasm, his optimism, the one that took him out of troubles so many times, why not now? In a way, the scar can give him a new personality, stories to impress young ladies, again Adrian smiles. Sure, why not… Err, sorry, Sir, as you decide Sir.

Phil was surprised to be escorted to the Duke's big house only not to meet the Duke. Not that he paid much attention to such meetings. He had a difficult time staying focused when people started using fancy words. But that fella they met seemed not to like LT and was not at all a bit polite. Someone should teach that fella some manners, he thought. He shuffled the big rock he carried in his bag. He did not quite understand what was so important about the stone but he did know one thing; it was heavy. He had worried during the boat trip that the big rock would be the end of him when the iceberg hit. If he had not lost his body armor he might have stowed the stone somewhere aboard just in case. But he did not. He would not fail in his duty this time.

"Sure Sir, party sounds fine. Still got to need to get my body armor repaired though," said Nantle as he looked down at his body armor. He was trying to forget about the time they ended up neck deep in zombies. It wasn't the fighting that bothered him, it was that he still wasn't sure what the whole point was. There was only two objectives, look after the unit, look after the country. At least those were the only objectives that Nantle had. He sort of got it. It was a adventure. Hell the whole mission was like some wierd, out of this world adventure. He just hoped that LT didn't get too caught up in it.

D'oh! My dynamic IP chose to refresh at an untimely moment. Since we're just about at time, I think I will call it there, and we'll resume with errands in Camar next time. Sorry for the abrupt finish! Since this was an entirely-RP session, remind me to give extra XP at the start of next week. LB

Likewise, if the heavy-RP sessions are feeling a bit too slow for the group, I can easily pick up the pace and get us back into high-adventure mode. Thus far I haven't had any complaints, so I've tailored the progression to your activity in the game. I am in no rush; you guys are not even halfway through the module, and I will have a version of Mulu's X-COM campaign (based on d20 Modern) ready to go when GGS wraps up.

yes, I complained last night, when the clock flew by too fast. I wanted to simply go to two shops and sell stuff. The conversations at the shops took place in real time and the length of time to walk was not that astronomically far. Some how an enitre day passed and I couldn't unload the 80 pounds of weapons at the second shop and had to wait to the next day because of two 10-15 minute conversations. That was highly unrealistic and unfair. That's why after a bit, I just started dumping crap on anyone I could. I was getting sick of "it's just a little extra distance or time" attitude going on. I felt like I was lagging behind the group and missing vital conversations. I'm sorry to vent like this; but, I specifically asked if I could dump equipment last session and I felt frustrated. I'm trying to get complete logs of the sessions for the movie scripts and it's hard when I'm lagging behind and stuff is going on ahead and I'm missing recording lines.
