- Bramblewood Keep - Morte and Padril did some GREAT work getting Bramblewood Keep ready to DM. It's at http://www.joel-benford.co.uk/nwn/bt_dmo/ . Download Bramblewood Keep (it's linked there), and look over Morte's notes. - Parthenon 1: Humble Beginnings is a fun module, and it practially runs itself. You could DM this by adding in NPC conversations and additional flavor, and enhancing the monster AI by possessing at appropriate times. - Tragedy in Tragidor - I love this module. One big caveat -- if your PC slowed down in the Inn during the classes, then this module will probably slow down even worse. It's one of the more complex mods to cut your teeth DMing on, if you're wanting a challenge. - Sylvan Lake Slavers. It's a short module (30 minutes to an hour) with a simple plot (orcs invade a small village, and you must save the villagers), but it's easy enough to expand upon. If nothing else, I'd consider having you and your DM partner invite some friends to run through it. Heck, you could get 3 or 4 DMs and switch off, each DMing 30 minutes of it, the rest playing, for practice. - "I have just released my DM-Friendly version of Oraweb's Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh. The package includes my custom version of the mod, a comprehensive 28-page DM guide, maps, a full suite of DM tools, and a sample DM character. A palette of improvisational content and a plot wand are present for your spontaneous DMing pleasure. New DMs may find the package a useful tutorial for learning pen and paper style NWN DMing. Here's the URL at Neverwinter Vault: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1045273215765.shtml Arawen" - The Vethboro Dragon (JHR1)is really good, it is very well scripted and provides pleny of info for a DM to run it even if he decides to disable conversation plus it is a very good module to start out a fresh party. Or to use it as the first session (or even first two session) of a campaign. -LB (LazyBones) really did a great job with The Crossroads - "Shrine of the Eth'barat" is really easy to DM, it's a feature module for the NWCon, and there's a new version up on the Vault (link in my sig). It includes a complete DM's Guide with a step-by-step overview of the mod and what the DM needs to do to run it. Most of the actual dungeon areas are fully scripted, so the DM can focus on placing sounds and sending Tells to improve the ambiance, giving xp awards for good RP, and spawning in the odd creature here and there to refine the challenge. The module is also quite easy to expand if desired. The DMFI Wand package is supported. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions about this game. (PMs to Lazybones re this mod). (reposted from old forums - the first 4 recommended by SweeneyTodd, and others recommended by their authors (Arawen/LB) or by many people (e.g. The Vethboro Dragon) - Elb)
