Anyone else notice the server being very slow the last couple of days? it's taking up to a minute to change pages on the forums. perhaps a reboot or something is in order?

I rebooted the sql server yesterday, as that usually fixes slowdowns. I rebooted both this morning. It didn't fix the problem so I will have to do some more digging.

If it's any help, it only seems to be the forums rather than the main page functions (PMs, etc.) that are experiencing the slowdown. At least for me.

I am not sure if this is related, but the IRC servers have been having issues as well since the weekend. ChanServ and NickServ are unavailable; and it looks like one of the two servers in the network is down (chat.rpgwarehouse.com?), which means that folks have a 50/50 chance of not being able to connect when they try 'irc.neverwinterconnections.com'.

Thanks for the heads up on the chat servers. They are completely seperate from the web servers. Looks like just a coincidence.

Rizzen is looking at the speed issue. It appears to be something in the database. Not sure how long it will take. It's not my area of expertise.
