The planar enigma of the World Serpent Inn, an ever-changing festhall and flophouse unfettered by reality...

The World Serpent Inn is both a place and a nonplace, existing in multiple planes simultaneously and nowhere at all. It is a gathering place for dead races, unborn powers, forgotten heroes, restless ghosts, and the engineers of worlds as yet uncreated. Almost all the inhabitants of the Inn are travelers, either by design or by chance. Many have simply stopped here during journeys to other places, while others came to the Inn accidentally, then realized they could not get home.

Set in the Forgotten Realms and across the Planes, The World Serpent Inn is CEP and hak free and requires no downloads to play or preview. WSI has over 150 highly detailed areas to explore, with more in the works. Custom built encounters, quests, unique magic items, and an incredible community of mature role-players.

There are many different areas to explore, at varying levels of difficulty. Some areas can be reached easily, while other require special access such as maps, keys, etc.

Dynamic changes are made to the module as time passes and as a result of in-game events. Players can literally change the face of the module through their actions in the game. DMs are true storytellers and work with the players to give them a chance in the spotlight.

First off I want to say that this server, while not perfect has earned this grade. I've been playing on it for around a month now and waited to see what the server was really like before rating it.

The DMs and player base are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and a joy to rp with in every sense of the word. Everyone is open minded and welcoming and I felt right at home after my first few times playing.

The map design is absolutely amazing. What they have done with the regular tilesets is beyond description in many areas. They do more with this than others can do with millions of placeables and tilesets.

Leveling is quicker than I am used to but it's not such a bad thing. There is no real need to farm any areas for either gold or experience as there is usually another dozen areas you could be doing if you do some exploring or ask someone where you should look.

Magic items available seem a bit high but good luck affording them and they are controlled by a customized level restrictions to take into account for ECL characters. The really nice stuff you can buy or find depending on your luck and you usually can't afford stuff before you can use it anyway from what I have seen.

How could I forget that...the races available are awesome. So much room for trying out just about any kind of character you could ever want. From planetouched to drow they have it all and if they don't with time and showing of good rp they'll even let you have a really special race (think there is a kobold and a dryad IG which are absolutely awesomely rped btw).

I would also like to point out even with drow available there isn't 1000 Drizzt clones running around which is a big boon in my book. People do tend to stick to their characters as well which is nothing personal but makes for great rp.

DM involvement is great too. Didn't get much the first few days I was in, but the last week or so has seen 2-3 dm events. Really fun at that and thoroughly enjoyed them, hoping for more.

Still a new server in some ways but they are quick to fix bugs and constantly expanding. The newest /commands they added that allows you to emote, do rolls, and even make familiars and summons talk takes the cake. A little thing but awesome.

Custom crafting and summoning is in the works and I can't wait for that as well. All in all an awesome server with great rp and a community. Definitely recommend it for any rpers to at least try. Don't even need to DL anything so no reason not to!

Hi guys, we're setting up events and letting you login any time to run through them. The current involves collecting regents for group of npcs fighting to close a rift to the shadowplane. You can do it for fun, or make an rp post on our forum afterwards and get involved in the overall plot itself

The Legacy of the Gnashtooth kobold campaign is an ongoing campaign set in the World Serpent Inn persistent world in the NWN game. Within the campaign, the player's create a kobold PC that is attempting to reclaim the lost glory of the Gnashtooth clan.

We are currently looking to add 2 or 3 players.
