Come join the Avlis world! The place where NWNx was invented, we're still going strong after 6 years! Currently we have a a staff of 20 DMs and an active Dev team turning out custom systems, areas, and mods all the time.

strictly in-character RP, with plenty of monster bashing as well!
Full CvC (PvP for in-character reasons only)
200ish regular players.
Regular one-off plots in most timezones, longer multi-stage stories, and worldwide server-changing plots running all the time.
Custom systems like Animal Companion Training, Advanced Magic Specializations, various styles of barbarian rage, fully implemented and complex crafting system with 10 disciplines... the list goes on.
Looking for new players as the world descends into war! The lizardman nation has a new leader, and conflict is breaking out across three nations, as the fledgling buffer state of Blandenberg tries to keep from being crushed between two old enemies...
Dungeon crawl the Nightfang Mountain, considered by many the most detailed and challenging dungeon in a PW, ever. Join one of three armies fighting back the lizardman onslaught, or join the lizards themselves! Craft, explore, sit at Kero's Bar and just chatter with the locals... until one of our DMs dumps a plot in your lap.
Feel free to poke me on the forums... I'm looking for new players to DM all the time!

Time for a bump! Avlis has undergone a dramatic back-end change over the last few months:
The game world has been taken over by a non-profit corporation dedicated to keeping the community alive! Formed from senior Team members and longtime players, the new group has moved the servers to dedicated bandwidth and a MONSTER dual quad-core beast hosting all the modules in individual Virtual Machines.
The effect? We've destroyed lag on our servers.
Come have a look! We're still solid, running plots and events every day, and we've added two more Euro-zone DMs and one in Australia. If you gave us a miss in the past, come see what the largest PW in the community has to offer!
You won't be disappointed.

Sorted... I guess someone doesn't like that we're promoting the site, as they keep attacking us with cross-site scripting exploits.

Time for a bump! Elysia has fallen, and the hated lizardmen have taken the fey city... but they're not committing the slaughter and slavery everyone expected. Could the southerners have been wrong?

Think it is time I as an active Avlis player reach out into the community and try and pull in some fresh faces. I have opted to do this via a little bump to this thread. Really great stuff to see, the world is stand alone awesome and also connected to other planes which you can travel to. If you are looking for a new pw world, then you need look no further.
