The town has been partially destroyed and already a couple weeks after the attack reconstruction of the barracks has begun. Morelen's Supply Shop, windmill, barracks, top floor of the Broken Bow, and an old house was destroyed in the attack.
First, Rose found Captain Bartley in a tent and asked him about the current situation in Heartridge. He said, "As you can see reinforcements have arrived from Callydirr, but their captain has been kidnapped by the Shadowblades. Their captain is a good man and is known as a Holy Warrior to many. Also the town is expecting new supplies from the town of Ogden and from Corwell Keep.
With this information the party started off into the Darnell Forest and followed the road to Ogden. They found a supply wagon near a cave, but with no one around. They entered the cave and found it inhabitated with trolls. It was a tough battle but after a few attempts and they were able to suceed and find the merchant and one of his escort soldiers left. Soon after the game session ended.
Now there is an additional merchant in the town of Heartridge.

Things didn't go too bad this game session.
It started with Arsenia, Rose, Tal, Allera and Velthorin at the Heartridge gates. They decided to start looking for the Corwell Supply Wagon. Though on their way their eye captured a Shadowblade running by. They took on the chase and ran into some ruins and fought some undead.
Soon afterwards they caught eye of the Shadowblade again, but this time they killed him and decided to go in the direction he was leading them. They then ran into a beetles breeding ground and fought many beetles.
After many days of wandering around in the forest of Darnell they came upon an ambush of Shadowblades. A couple of their up front fighters went down in the battle but soon after the battle was won, and found the supply wagon from Corwell Keep waiting for a clear path behind the River of Barnor.
They followed the river to the East and found the Shdowblade stronghold named Rytim Keep. They investigated the area a little bit while some of the other party members went back to town. Though to their surprise Allera came running to Rose and Mathais with Shadowblades and a cave troll on her heels. Things got a bit messy before the end of the game session. Though in the end they learned a lesson.
Stay together at all times.

This game session lasted a bit longer than expected and only had a few snags on the way, but besides that the group did outstanding and had a lot of fun.
Allera, Rakhir, Tal, Rose, and Arsenia started their journey along the Barnor river to find the Callydirr Captain. When they arrived at Rytim Keep they found a secret tunnel between the river and the cliffs. In the tunnel was an agent spying on the Shadowblades and watching what they were doing. He gave the group insight on where to find the captain and what to watch out for.
They didn't have too much of a problem rescuing the Captain except when one of the guards ran and got some help by ringing a gong. Besides that things went well and they were able to bring him back to town.
When back in town the Callydirr Captain told them how he was dragged down to the bottom of the drow territory and was made to get the last Elemental Symbol and give it to them.
The group then went back to Rytim and the secret agent told them of a book that may help them in the Heartstone Labyrinth that was somewhere in the Rytim Library. As well as somekind of a portal hidden in the library. The agent to them to go North from the Rytim Cliffs to get into the Library.
This is where the group had a bit of a problem. Instead of going North into the Library they went South and headed stright into the heart of Rytim Keep. They fought off a horde of Shadowblades. Though after winning the battle they decided to go out the front door going outside. So all the Shadowblades in front of the keep turned around and then fought the heroes. Only one party member survived. She surrendered so all the party members were revived in jail.
(I was hoping to call it a night here, but I messed up and put the party in the wrong jail so the party already had a jail key to get out and there was also a lich inside the jail cell. So I got rid of the lich, though let the party go and leave the jail cell since it was my mistake and let them continue their adventure. )
They then went through the library and found the labyrinth book and continued looking for the secret portal. After fighting several undead shadowblades they then found the secret passage and came upon a shimmering red portal with many dead shadowblades all around it.
This is where the game ended and will continue the next game session.

Things went very well this game session until it got to the end of the chapter where the end script would not go off to start Chapter 5, but no biggy.
Arsenia, Allera and Rose were last left in Rytim Library where they found a big red portal. Mathais soon joined them by tracking their steps and the dead bodies. So the four of them finally decided to see where the portal lead.
The portal lead them into somekind of a lost cave. The cave seemed to be a burial of evil dragons and their riders protected by golems. In one of the burial passages was hundreds of Shadowblades laying dead. They seemed to have been fighting one of the golems that protected the dead dragon Vracknor and his rider Victor. After a short investigation they finally found a golem that would teleport them out of the cave if they destroyed the portal.
They destroyed the portal then burned the library and then fought the Shadowblade Melthoi who was probably one of the leaders before Victor took over the Shadowblades. They then continued back to town to sell what they looted at Rytim Keep and resupply for their journey towards the underdark.
While Mathais was going to the Gypsy wagon he happened to see some dragons fighting up in the sky. Soon afterwards one of the dragons came spiraling down to the ground dead. The dragon seemed to be silver in color.
The group continued to sell and buy till the end of the game session.
