NWN1 Greyhawk Campaign Series

I'm thinking of running a group thru a number of vault modules set in Greyhawk. These will be mostly be run as originally scripted, but I'll be reviewing and adjusting a little to suit my style of play. I will be adding supply based resting, HABTD and DMFI to those modules lacking these.

Players will start out at 2nd lvl and work their way up from there as we move from story to story.

This would be a weekly campaign running for 2 hours.

This would be on Tue-Wed. I'm pretty flexible on the time slot; at the moment, I'm available anytime from 3 PM Tue to 3 AM Wed. GMT.

I'm looking for a group of 4-6.

Those interested please post your available times here and we will try to work out the best time for all those involved.

Regards

Karvon

Very interested in playing instead of DMing for a change... unfortunately neither of those two nights are possible for me right now.

I could also do this on Sat evening...

From around 9 PM to 11 PM ET.

Or on Sunday morning...

Anywhere between 8 AM and Noon ET; I'm watching football after that

I'm with you on the football. I can't do Saturdays, just had to drop out of a new campaign due to my inability to show up every Saturday.
Sunday morning could work, I'd have to be out of it before noon though. And I can't commit for a couple three weeks. Home Improvement projects until the second week of December.

Ok, so looks like we could do a 2 hr session either:

Sun between 8 AM and Noon ET

or

Tue between 8:30 PM and Midnite ET

Anyone else interested and available at either time?

I'd like a bare minimum of 3, and would prefer 4 to cover the basic classes of fighter, cleric, mage and thief.

Given how busy folks get in late Dec, might hold off starting till after New Years, but willing to go earlier, if all aboard are free.

Ooh, if you're starting after New Year's, then I'd like to express interest for either time suggested, though the Tuesday evening one is currently much more appealing.

An after New Year's start works fine for me; I've got a lot of events in Dec. myself, and could use the extra time to sort thru the first mod to update and expand it a little.

Have you decided on day/time yet one way or the other?

Would love to take part, especially if this is going to be Greyhawk, but am only available Mon/Wed/Sat evenings between 7 and 11 EST.

Yes, the plan is to run thru a series of Greyhawk based mods.

As per the previous discussion, it looks like either a Sunday or Tuesday time slot, leaning towards the latter, based on the two folks who've expressed interest so far.

Mon and Wed, I'm involved in other campaigns, so those are both out.

I could do Sat, however, if that's what works best for the majority.

I suspect we'll get a better idea after the holidays when people firm up their schedule and interest.

Well, if consensus ends up being Saturday evenings, I'll be excited to join in.

I'd be quite interested in playing if it was on a Saturday or Sunday.

Sunday morning slot seems to be the leading contender with at least 3 able to make it thus far.

We probably will start on the 10th, the second week of Jan.

Darn... if I'm out of bed that early on a Sunday, the wife will think I want to go to church.

Ah well, I hope everyone else enjoys themselves!

I very much want to join you guys on Sunday mornings. However, I already have plans for 1/10/10. I'll look forward to joining up with the week after that though, if I can still join.

Joining a week late shouldn't be a problem. The first session may be a bit of a RP one as players get acquainted with each other and the starting area for the campaign.

Those of you who are planning to join may want to post the class you're planning to play so folks can start filling in needed spots.

I'd like to see the pnp basics covered, in order of importance:

tank fighter
cleric
rogue
mage

With a minimum party of four, I'd expect the cleric and fighter to be able to handle the front line while the others support.

If we get more than four, then additional classes are fine, though I'd recommend an additional fighter type or cleric for the fifth spot.

I'll see about posting the first session sometime this week between holiday engagements.

I'm willing to play any of the four beginning classes. I'll fill in as needed, no worries.

I'm moving just after New Year's, but I'd be interested after we get broadband at the new house. I'll send you a pm after we're settled in.

It might be worth delaying for a week if a few people need a little extra time. I'd quite like to play a dwarven cleric.
