I'm starting to build a new NWN CEP 2.2 Forgotten Realms campaign to take over the very long lived Sunday Morning Campaign run by Lazybones since 2002. I'll be using my Lantan U mod as the campaign base, so I'll be using those haks plus any other tilesets I decide to add. Lantan will not be the focus of this campaign. I'm basing it in the Moonshae Islands. My goal is to run the campaign for as long as I have players showing up, so we'll likely travel all over Faerun eventually. Anyway, it will be a traditional D&D campaign, start at 1st level. I'll be building as we go, so don't expect anything terribly fancy build-wise. Please post interest here, and then I'll send out invites to my campaign forum. We may start in as soon as three weeks if we can get organized that fast, otherwise after X-Mas. Session time is 7:30am to 9:30am Pacific Standard Time Sundays (GMT -8 or so depending on daylight savings). Preference will be given to existing Sunday Morning campaign members, then to existing Saturday Evening campaign members, so I'll likely only have a couple of completely open slots. I'm willing to run as many as 8 players.

Looks good. I can probably only take one more, depends on how many of my current players sign up.

I've never used voice chat personally. I'll maintain a waiting list, but at last count I had 5 from my Sunday group (though all but Mirgalen need to confirm), 1 from my Saturday group, and 2 new players, which makes 8 already. Of course, it's typical to get a drop or two along the way. As new openings come up I'll check the waiting list, and if I still have slots after that I'll announce the opening here.

Alright, with all players now confirmed we'll move this discussion to the campaign thread, which you should all now have access to. Final roll call was: Champoux egpaul felrisen GateCrash Sleet Trushaft Cerridwen Mirgalen And Coroban on the waiting list. Depending on player availability we'll start either next week or the week after, though it's already looking like the week after.

Okay everyone, this is early but I did want everyone to know what my plans are. I'm not able to do any dm'ing right now for personal (medical) reasons. However, I do intend to continue this campaign. Give me 6 - 12 months to get back on my feet, and I intend to pick this campaign back up. I promise, as a personal commitment to this community that I care so much about and have enjoyed since 2002. I am however going to change the day on the campaign. The Cliffside Campaign will continue from 6:30 pm to 8:30, PST, once is restarts. This is not negotiable (unless Mirgalen continues in this campaign and wants one it hour later, you're worth it man! ). The good thing is that during the next 6 months while I'm recovering and unable to work, I'm going to be pretty bored and probably build a *lot* on the mod. Heck, this mod may end up being my swansong in NWN building! All players in this campaign are reserved for the continuation of this campaign once it restarts. I want a full house on this one, so I want to have 8 dedicated players for an unlimited in scope campaign. I will also for the first time ever be seeking a co-DM. PM me if you are interested, and I can send you all of my materials on the mod and plots to date. I look forward to DM'ing again in 6 months. DM'ing makes me happy. Take care all.

Dependent upon the day, I can co-dm, Mulu. I'm free any night except for Sundays.

Mulu: I'd be willing to help Co-DM with Gulfwulf if you could use the extra pair of hands, and/or help out with building for the adventure. I want to give my all for one last quality kick at the cat before I hang up NWN for good. Let me know if you could use my help. Thanks. Moss Troll

PM sent, with cheer! I've been busy trying to organize a potential group. It's nice to see how many NWC players there still are and up to forming / rebooting a new campaign. Of course, the issue will be timing. I was originally just going to set the time, but that is impractical. So, I have options. Anyone from my prior Cliffside or XCOM campaigns that were active at the time I had to shut down the campaigns of course are invited. I have also sent out some very specific invitations to folk who I would like to bring in. From two campaigns, I'm cutting down to one on Saturday. Sorry X-COM! (BTW, I'm rebuilding X-COM for SP... ) Attrition and time slot conflicts will I suspect cause me to lose as much as half to the potential campaign base. It's just a fact of life. My goal is to try to keep as many players as I can with the limits of my own schedule. At this time, my best times to run a Saturday US Pacific Standard Time Zone are as follows, in no preference: SATURDAY, THREE SATURDAY OPTIONS: option 1: US/PST 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM - earliest game time, wife needs to get the expresso going Option 2: US/PST 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Next earliest game time. Kid goes to grandma's. Option 3: US/PST 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Last possible time slot. We're oldsters, we need our Mylanta and want to go to bed! So there you have it schedule wise. Here is my current list of tentative players as I know it. Not all of them have responded to my inquiries, but I wanted to start the process of choosing a time slot as it's a preliminary matter that must be addressed first before folks start determining whether or not they can join. I say tentative simply because we're a long ways away. All of these players are technically reserved, but speaking this far out there are no commitments as a function of RL. This campaign is going to be started at the end of the Summer, right after Lazybones Saturday Crossroads campaign is concluded. That's very good timing for me, as obviously I have things to attend to during that time not game related. The name of the game is The Moonshaes Isles Campaign. Not terribly creative, I know. I may look into that. POTENTIAL PLAYERS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER Cerridwen - the missus egpaul felrisen Mirgalen Rotku GateCrash Champoux Ayram Raganui Caanbow In addition three players have been given reserved invitations, guaranteed slots in the first eight players if they wish to play. I'm "outing" them because I want them to participate in the planning process. Vanya Mia Smart Alec Beothul Ain't no rush. We have months to get this set up. Choosing a time slot though is the most important factor at the start. The campaign may also be getting some outside help from an NWCer I admire greatly as a builder, which I'm looking forward too, and GulfWulf may be able to co-DM. It's a long time out yet, of course. Nothing is certain right now, we're all just writing words on the surface of a lake. DISCUSS! Well, wait, you have WORK TO DO! Technically, put your name under any or all of the options, which I will repeat, as many times as I need to. Use GMT converters for your own locations if you need to assistance. I'm not the math guy. Option 1: US/PST 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM Earliest game time, wife needs to get the expresso going in the morning if you want to have a functional DM! Hmmm, latte's.... Option 2: US/PST 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Next earliest game time. Kid goes to grandma's. Option 3: US/PST 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Last possible game time. We're oldsters, we need our Mylanta and want to go to bed!
