I barely pay attention during the game, what makes you think I want to read the log about it afterwards?

Just kidding, I'll take a look through it to see what happened. I was afraid you'd say that though.

Of course, you're welcome to rely on the RAM (rarely accurate memory) of your companions

Check the session log

Any reasonable line you wish to use is fine. You could've just caught up to the party.

Something along the lines of ...

"When the "wanderer" returned with the leader, the group was very much surprised to see it was a dwur ... and a familiar one at that ..."

I'm not sure where to go with this hiring diggers idea. I kind of burped it up unexpectedly. I'm pretty sure we came to kill the bandits in hopes of ending their shenanigans by the local roads. However, after the bugbears stood around and stared at us, now the bandits are pretending to be nice guys.

I could use some helpful suggestions on what some, or all, of you are interested in doing, or not doing, in this situation.

I personally am having second thoughts on paying slugs to do work they have no intention of completing in a timely manner.

Meh. You have two Dwarves. Why do you need a bunch of stinky humans to do a real Dwarf's work?

Heh -- everyone is just playing a 'fools game' ... we ain't hiring no one that we find in a "bandit cave" and they aren't going to admit they are bandits. The goblins managed to talk us out of exterminating them, then the bugbears -- leaving all these potential adversaries behind isn't good -- because the only thing keeping them in line is the dude we are after -- when we find and exterminate him, these "monsters" are going to return to their "natural" behavior. 'Pay me now, or pay me later' as they say.

Now then, having said that -- I am assuming these cave complexes are rather small, including rather small populations of monsters -- pretty much as we've seen (we've actually seen more bugbears in the temple than we saw in their cave. Sort of a strange arrangement if you think about it too much -- but that is the way the games were designed in the early days -- more for entertainment/fun than practicality.

Let’s kill them all, but take that decision IG, will be more delightful than in the forums. A brief conversation and boom, they all go down… or we go?

You can't kill them in the forum, you'll have to do that ingame. You may wanna reconsider your options slightly when you see the situation as well

We can't? I'm certain it would be easier in the forum ...

"The party kills all the bandits and loots the bodies ..."

See how easy that was?

Hmm guess that works for me too, eh?

Once again, sorry about sleeping thru our last session.

Next weekend is a holiday weekend in the USA and often, folks travel - or are otherwise engaged with picnics and whatnot. If anyone will be away, we can take a break, so the whole party will be on hand for the bandit confrontation. If all are available, we can continue on our normal schedule.
Post your availability and I'll schedule the next session accordingly.

Who says worshiping death goddesses doesn't have it's advantages?

I can be here if we're playing - my wife and I won't be watching fireworks until the evening sometime.

Ok so far, no negative responses.

Any NOT going to be available?

I'll leave this open another 12 hours or so, and will post the game if I don't get any negatives before that.

Sadly I have to recant. My wife is making grandiose plans with my Fourth of July and I'm like flotsam in the current.

Needless to say, I probably won't be making it. However, it's expected to rain, so maybe ........
