A DM server i will be running various modules on every saturday(and sunday sometimes).
IP address and other details, given when server is running.

Is the idea for players to carry the same PCs from module to module, or have new ones each time?

It depends on the required level for the module, but yes, a person would probably use the same character each time, but its there choice really.
