Welcome to the world of the Hyborian Age, it is a low magic, high adventure setting.

I am hoping to find some more players for the game and add some new blood to it.

The story so far takes place in the city of Arenjun; also known as the City of Thieves.

The heroes hired on as caravan guards for a powerful merchant in Zamora known as Hadramas.

They have guarded from Shadizar to Arenjun, and now the merchant has told them that it will be a week before they must continue on, and that they should enjoy themselves during the week long festival known as Beggar's Feast.

There you will find a list of modifications, selectable races, and forums to write on.

Magic is very rare in the Hyborian Age, and mages get a modified spell table with reduced spell gain, and though this seems pretty underpowered....thing to remember is, that for the most part, a lvl 20 warrior still has basic armor and weapons with no magic properties....so a mage at high levels is a fearsome opponent in a world without magical defenses.

So far we have four heroes in the cast:

Could always use more heroes in the adventure.

Description: Golden-haired, blue-eyed, bearded barbarians, with chain hauberks, axes and wooden shields

Vanir +2 Con -2 Dex, +2 damage with swords, +2 Spot and Listen
Classes Available: Bard(Skald), Barbarian, Druid, Fighter, Ranger
Description: Red-haired ravagers and raiders in longships, with ring mail, horsehide shields, spears and swords

Cimmerian +2 Str, -2 Int, +3 racial bonus to Discipline and a +2 Will Saving Throw
Classes Available: Barbarian, Ranger, Fighter(Barbaric).
Description: Dark-haired, bronze-skinned hillsmen, bare-chested with steel shields and battle-axes

Bossonian +1 to hit with Longbow, Expertise.

Description: Stocky, but with fair skin and brown hair and brown or grey eyes.

Tauran - Skill Focus(Animal Empathy), +2 to Hide and Move Silently.

Aquilonian - Silver Palm, Mounted Combat

Description: Horsemen with hooked noses, black hair and eyes, and deeply tanned skin, riders wear steel and silk and gold

Description: Turbaned men with hooked noses, veiled women with black hair

Zamoran +2 Dex, -2 Str, Skill Focus(Open Lock), Skill Focus(Pick Pocket)

Description: Deeply tanned with dark eyes, wearing loose-fitting robes

Zingaran +2 Cha, -2 Con, +1 to hit with swords, +1d6 Sneak Attack.

Description: Tanned, curly-haired sailors and princelings, an admixture of Zingg Valley folk (possibly of Shemite origin), invading Picts, and Hyborian tribes

Khitan- +3 Lore, Bonus Feat
Classes Available: Bard(Loremaster), Fighter(Civilised), Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard(Priest), Wizard(Sorcerer)
Description: Yellow-skinned and dark haired with slanted looking dark eyes.

Barbarians - Barbarian are different than normal. They also can select Hide, Move Silently, and Spot as skills. They count as having Track, and Two Weapon Fighting.

Lvl 1 - Fast movement, Rage 1/day (+2 Str, Dex, Con, -2 AC, +4 Will
Lvl 2 - Uncanny Dodge, Fearless

There are three archtypes of Bard. The Assassin, Skald and Loremaster.
All Bards begin to gain arcane magic at lvl 10, gaining a max spell level of 3rd level magic.

Druid Also known as a Shaman. Same as standard NWN, except it has an altered spell list.

Fighter(Barbaric) - Same as Standard, Except Replaces Heavy Armor Prof with Barbarian Rage 1/day. Gains Two Weapon Fighting, Gains Rallying Cry at lvl 10, and Last Stand at lvl 20. Can also gain Epic Weapon Focus at lvl 8, and Epic Wpn Specialization at lvl 12.

Fighter(Civilized) - Same as Standard, Except Gains Two Weapon Fighting, Gains Rallying Cry at lvl 10, and Last Stand at lvl 20. Can also gain Epic Weapon Focus at lvl 8, and Epic Wpn Specialization at lvl 12.

Monk - Same as Standard

Paladin - Known as a Knight. Gains d12 hp, Fort and Will saves, Gains Two Weapon Fighting, and no spells.

Lvl 3 - Heroic Shield
Lvl 4 - Defensive Awareness

Level 7 - Improved Critical in chosen ranged weapon
Level 8 - Trackless Step
Level 9 - Evasion, Sneak Attack +3d6
Level 10 - Favored Enemy +3
Level 11 - Wpn Specialzation in chosen ranged weapon
Level 12 - Sneak Attack +4d6
Level 13 - Evasion
Level 14 -
Level 15 - Favored Enemy +4, Sneak Attack +5d6

Wizard - HP is d6, Medium BAB, 6 + Int skill points, extended skill selection, and uses a modified spell list and progression table.

Magic users do not gain flashy spells such as: Fireball, Flame Strike, Issacs missle storm, Acid Arrow, Meteor Swarm, Horrid Wilting to name a few.

Also, Mages can not cast Raise Dead or Resurrection. Anyone brought back in Hyboria is brought back as undead.
