You take a moment to think about what the Ancient dragon had to say before he flew off into the distant sky. A few moments later you begin your walk back to the town of Heartridge wondering what you will find upon your arrival. Once you walk through the gates you find that most of the town has been rebuilt with the Captain and all the guards to greet you.
In the upcoming days you join in on the festivities and celebrations for your victory over Vracknor and the evils that he has brought to the lands around you.
In the weeks, months, and years to follow these are the paths our glorious champions have taken:
Mathias
After the celebrations have calmed down in the town of Heartridge Captain Bartley approaches Mathias and asks him if he would step up and take his place. The Captain explains that Mathias has been in the town for many years and everyone knows him and now looks up to him. All the guards will follow him and look to him for guidance. The Captain explains that he is just getting too old for this job and it is time for him to step down and he doesn't know anyone more suited for his replacement. Mathias accepts the job as the new Captain of the guards and in the months to follow even becomes the new Duke of Heartridge. Mathias then continued to keep a lucrative business on the side which in return helps him and the town prosper.
Rakhir Otrere
After returning to Heartridge Rakhir returns to the woods of Darnell. After a few days of living off the land he is confronted by a large silver dragon. The dragon kneels down and says, "The dragons have heard of your deeds and it has been decided that you will be the first in a millennia to become leader of the new dragon riders." Rakhir got on the silver dragons back and rode into the sky. In the upcoming months Rakhir and his silver dragon fought evil where ever they found it. Within the upcoming years Rakhir slowly began to train new Dragon Riders who then became known as The Winds of Fury...
Rose Mizurne
A few weeks after hanging around Heartridge Lovic comes to Rose and gives her an opportunity that she has been waiting for. He gives her one of the lead positions in the organization knows as the Harpers. She gladly accepts the position. She then works mostly in secret in the upcoming years with her contacts from different cities and locals to help keep the balance of good and evil within the Moonshae Islands. From time to time she has been known to work with the organization known as The Winds of Fury.
Envith Litheion
Envith returns to Callidyrr after the celebrations in Heartridge and brings the news and what was done to finally defeat Vracknor to the circle of mages. Soon afterwards Envith takes a few mage entourage to dismantle the portal and disperse any remaining remnants of evil in the ancient tomb. Envith then returns to Callidyrr and was boosted into a lead position of the mages circle in charge of the defense of Callidyrr. In the upcoming years it has been rumored that he has had some dealings with the groups known as the Harpers and The Winds of Fury
Arsenia
Arsenia, thought it would be nice to settle down and live a normal life in the town of Heartridge. From time to time she helped Mathias out with some goblins outside of town or a few bandits, but for the most part she lead a quiet life. As the years went by she married, had kids and grew old, but long into her elder years she had a dream of the lost cave with the dead dragons and their crystallized riders. She dreamt of a large group of robed men with a blood red eye on the back of the robe walking through the cave. Down at their feet were the four golems. She watched as these men continued down a passage and stopped at one of the crystallized riders. They break the rider free, and as one of the robed figures bends down to check out the body that fell out of the crystal the rider reaches up and grabs the robed mans forearm. Slowly his skin begins to crawl off and onto the riders body rejuvenating his old wrinkled skin. Arsenia wakes up in a cold sweat and thinks to herself, "was it just a dream, or was it a vision of what is to come or what has come to pass?" Arsenia tries to fall back to sleep, but lays there wondering.
