Sorry. We had a storm this week, still working on cleaning up the water that flooded in.

There's a good chance I won't be able to make it next Saturday. My wife and I are going out of town and I don't know if we'll be back in time to play.

Sorry for missing the game, guys. We didn't get back home until it was about time for the game to be over and the game was over by the time I was able to get to my computer. See y'all next week.

I think there's another convention in October that we'll be going to. I'll let y'all know again before it comes around.

OOC

I may not have a machine for a few days so I may have to skip this and possibly the next session.

Yeah, feel your pain. Have 3 computers atm though, so generally safe from such a blackout myself.

I thought I would be. I found out that two of my memory bays are bad and that I need to get a new motherboard. And to think I just built this system.

The Keys

I've glanced over parts of the walk thru, looking at what 2nd level areas we've explored and the containment and death cell wards.

The second level requires silver keys to pass thru 3 doors. One silver key was lying on the floor which we picked up and used to open the middle door. From what I looked over, we should've found another silver key in that area we explored; perhaps the barbarian, or one of our other missing PCs took it. I'll spawn a copy in as DM at the start of the next session, as that will allow us to explore one of the other two branches. Presumably, we'll find another silver key somewhere in that branch, which will allow us to then examine the final branch.

According to the walkthru, the gold key should allow us to open a door on the death cell level. Not sure whether we went down and tried that after we got the gold key or not.

In addition, there's always a chance we missed a secret door along the way somewhere, as we didn't have a rogue with us every session, and some times I don't think we searched every place completely. I'm not sure on this as I didn't look over walk thru for the upper sewer levels.

My wife will be joining us next session as an Elven Ranger. She is still fairly new to NWN mp, but she's been playing in another game I host and can hold her own, so don't worry about me having to hold her hand. She only plays in games I'm, so she won't be joining the site. Personally, I don't see any reason for her to because I would have to teach her how to navigate it. That and she's not interested in reviews. Anyway, I'll cy'all this Saturday.

I'm thinking another picked it up -- or we just left it lying somewhere. I know that my PC has not been searching containers or remains (other than that last one where he found 15 coins -- a zombie I believe).

Hard to imagine a mod of this caliber would "require" a Rogue to find a secret door to get a plot item necessary for completing it.

Great. And welcome to the new player -- always nice to have fresh ideas -- but I also know (from the MP Campaign #2) how difficult it is to join in the middle of a mod -- not really knowing what has been done or even how the party came to be where they are.

I don't think the key was behind a secret door, I merely mentioned there's always the chance we missed a secret door, or two, along the way during the session our rogue was absent.

That being said, I think we have double-backed over most of that ground already since then, so don't think it's all that likely.

Just wanted to thank you all again for the fun sessions these past several weeks. This game comes in at 3AM Sunday for me -- always afraid the power will go off or the alarm won't wake me and I'll miss a session -- but I really do enjoy playing with all of you.

In spite of a few "bugs" -- this particular mod has been surprisingly entertaining considering there isn't a DM working their magic in the background -- I'm actually quite impressed!

Again, thanks for the good times!
