Expedition to Emyn U. - 1

Sequoia Wisetree: Is that the inn?
Stanley the Stout: *stops and waits for the others to catch up*
Stanley the Stout: Looks like it.
Sequoia Wisetree: Deer on sight.
Stanley the Stout: Right a drink then?
Sequoia Wisetree: Plenty of game here.
Nori Longbeard: Fine by me!
Sequoia Wisetree: Where are we?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: Guess we'll find out soon enough

Tavern Door: *You have just spent the night at this Inn. You've packed your belongings and paid your bill. There is no need to re-enter this place.*

Nori Longbeard: Somewhere of little interest I'm guessing.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: closed
Bawbuthor : We should continue to the Mill.
Nori Longbeard: What cha forget something?
Bawbuthor : There is an Inn just north of there.
Stanley the Stout: *studies sign*
Petrioc, Indulgent Father: Hello there!
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: People
Stanley the Stout: *studies chicken*

Bawbuthor : Looks like a crowd ahead.
Sequoia Wisetree: * Taking cover *
Mole Spectator: What fun!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: *sigh*
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Mole Spectator: Did you see him slip and fall. I think he was dizzy.. *chuckles*
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: *sigh*
Mole Spectator: What fun!
Bawbuthor : That can't be good for the crops.
Mole Spectator: I'll wager 4 gold
Mole Spectator: Did you see him slip and fall. I think he was dizzy.. *chuckles*
Mole Spectator: I'll wager 4 gold
Mole Spectator: Did you see him slip and fall. I think he was dizzy.. *chuckles*
Nori Longbeard: It is a mole race I think.
Mole Spectator: What fun!
Sequoia Wisetree: What is that?
Stanley the Stout: moles
Stanley the Stout: not a farmers friend
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Help with a mole infestation
Mole Spectator: Go moles!
Stanley the Stout: strange
Nori Longbeard: village entertainment.
Bawbuthor : That guy standing alone, I bet he lives here.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: *sigh*
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Test your reflexes here
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Hello.
Mole Spectator: What fun!
Bawbuthor: May I ask...what is happening on your field?
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Well... I'm a farmer and I've been ruined by moles. They've eaten everything on my field. Look at all the holes!
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: I'm trying to recoup my losses by holding a contest. Pay 1 gold to try and "bop" moles. See how long it takes you to bop 8 moles. Beat 40 seconds and win back 3 gold! Care to try it?
Bawbuthor: Umm, no... that doesn't interest me although I must commend you on your entreprenuership.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah this I could do.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Nori Longbeard: Waste of time.
Bawbuthor : Do you have a gold to wager?
Sequoia Wisetree: I have 20 coins.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Well... I'm a farmer and I've been ruined by moles. They've eaten everything on my field. Look at all the holes!
Stanley the Stout: *watches*
Sequoia Wisetree: continue.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: I'm trying to recoup my losses by holding a contest. Pay 1 gold to try and "bop" moles. See how long it takes you to bop 8 moles. Beat 40 seconds and win back 3 gold! Care to try it?
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Are you ready? You may use any weapon you wish. Your friends do not count but your pets can assist you.
Mole Spectator: Go moles!
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes! Start the clock!
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: thought elves were better shots.
Nori Longbeard: Heh
Bawbuthor : I think I might try, I think I can do better than Sequoia.
Nori Longbeard: Waste of time and arrows.
Mole Spectator: I'll wager 4 gold
Mole Spectator: Did you see him slip and fall. I think he was dizzy.. *chuckles*
Mole Spectator: What fun!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Congratulations! Well done! I couldn't do any better myself.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Your time was 126.1 seconds.
Sequoia Wisetree: Er I did quite poorly.
Bawbuthor : I suppose, I was planning on using my sword.
Stanley the Stout: Go fer it
Nori Longbeard: He certainly played you for the fool!
Sequoia Wisetree: Thank you. I hope you get your field back.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: I'm trying to recoup my losses by holding a contest. Pay 1 gold to try and "bop" moles. See how long it takes you to bop 8 moles. Beat 40 seconds and win back 3 gold! Care to try it?
Sequoia Wisetree: * scratch head *
Bawbuthor: Sure!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Are you ready? You may use any weapon you wish. Your friends do not count but your pets can assist you.
Bawbuthor: Yes! Start the clock!
Sequoia Wisetree: What are you doing?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Nori Longbeard: Go Nuli!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Congratulations! Well done! I couldn't do any better myself.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Your time was 34.3 seconds. You won! Here's your money!
Bawbuthor: Thank you. I hope you get your field back.
Nori Longbeard: Heh Nuli knows how to bop a mole!
Stanley the Stout: yep
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah I see but you did not shoot at them.
Bawbuthor : They get down the holes quick, that's for sure.
Stanley the Stout: I'll try with my crossbow him slip and fall. I think he was dizzy.. *chuckles*
Stanley the Stout: *unslings massive crossbow*
Nori Longbeard: slow weapon ...
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: I'm trying to recoup my losses by holding a contest. Pay 1 gold to try and "bop" moles. See how long it takes you to bop 8 moles. Beat 40 seconds and win back 3 gold! Care to try it?
Stanley the Stout: Sure!
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Are you ready? You may use any weapon you wish. Your friends do not count but your pets can assist you.
Stanley the Stout: Yes! Start the clock!
Nori Longbeard: You should get Nuli to help ya!
Sequoia Wisetree: Good shot!
Sequoia Wisetree: Excelent
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Congratulations! Well done! I couldn't do any better myself.
Dreardoc, Halfling Farmer: Your time was 71.2 seconds.
Nori Longbeard: Need a dwur to bop moles!
Stanley the Stout: *slings weapon*
Stanley the Stout: beat the elf
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Nori Longbeard: aye -- ye did at that!
Bawbuthor : It's tougher than it looks, Nori.
Nori Longbeard: Right ... took two to win.
Stanley the Stout: we moving on?
Bawbuthor : sure.
Nori Longbeard: Unless you want to throw away more gold.
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Bawbuthor : I got mine back.
Bawbuthor : and both of thiers.s
Bawbuthor : *laughs*

Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: Good Afternoon. What may I do for you?
Stanley the Stout: May I buy and sell items with you?
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: Certainly.
Stanley the Stout: Continue
Stanley the Stout: *looks over wares*
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: Good Afternoon. What may I do for you?
Stanley the Stout: I know that an old Mill is up ahead. Is there anything special about it?
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: The old mill? Well, it is out in the middle of no where. That much I can say. Bernatrum Mill is the proper name for it... no one remembers why its named that.
Nori Longbeard: Careful Stanly don't stand so close to that end.
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: It was a thriving place but now, it's no more than a waypoint on the caravan trail... and even that distinction is fading.
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: The area around the mill is now wild enough that strange things happen around there. You don't need to travel far from it to encounter badness. An adventurer like you should find some good loot in the wilderness around the mill!
Stanley the Stout: Thanks for the information.
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: Good Afternoon. What may I do for you?
Bawbuthor : *laughs at Nori's comment*
Stanley the Stout: Can you tell me where the Inn at the 7th Ray is?
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: Oh, sure. That's a famous frontier inn if there ever was one. If you follow this road, it will eventually reach an old mill on a hilltop.
Aomar, Farmer Tradesman: The Forest of Manadh stands a short ways north of the mill. The Inn at the 7th Ray is but a short distance into the Manadh forest.
Stanley the Stout: Thank you.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: So, we follow the road, or look round this settlement more?
Bawbuthor : I think we should get closer to Emyn Uial.
Nori Longbeard: You want to bop more moles?
Sequoia Wisetree: We have a few hours before sunset.
Bawbuthor : No, not for me.
Bawbuthor : It got me a little dizzy.
Stanley the Stout: Guess we go on then.
Nori Longbeard: aye -- because you were doing it right.

Stanley the Stout: someone shot me
Sequoia Wisetree: What?
Nori Longbeard: someone shooting at us.
Drurry Brusher, Bandit at Large: Don't get attached to your things... The Busher Brothers will be taking them.
Bawbuthor : One gold, poor bandit.
Stanley the Stout: *mutters*
Bawbuthor : Sequioa, you gonna be okay?
Stanley the Stout: a few poor weapons and armor
Sequoia Wisetree: May be.
Nori Longbeard: That is why they are trying to rob us -- ifn' they had money they'd be drunk.
Bawbuthor : a ring on this one,
Sequoia Wisetree: Things to take here.
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks

Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Nori Longbeard: Welcome -- don't want ya dying on me.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: Stand back let us scout a bit.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * You see that fire?
Bawbuthor : barely.
Stanley the Stout: *motions - two*
Bawbuthor : Let me and Nuli get closer.
Nori Longbeard: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * friends or foes?
Stanley the Stout: *w* don't seem friendly
Bawbuthor : foe it is then
Nori Longbeard: aye -- protecting their fire perhpas.
Bawbuthor : potion on this one.
Stanley the Stout: gem and a potion
Bawbuthor : and a funny looking knife
Stanley the Stout: maybe a warrior should take the potion
Sequoia Wisetree: We have healing kits?
Stanley the Stout: I bought a couple
Bawbuthor : I have a few.
Sequoia Wisetree: Me too if we need.
Sequoia Wisetree: What wine is this?
Stanley the Stout: Took the gem
Stanley the Stout: warrior take the potion
Bawbuthor : *takes up the potion*
Nori Longbeard: Wonder if there is a reward for killing bandits along the road?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: they were pointing towards a cave.
Nori Longbeard: oh?
Stanley the Stout: north east
Sequoia Wisetree: Reward paid by who the mole farmers?
Nori Longbeard: Perhaps we should look into it?
Stanley the Stout: gonna look closer
Nori Longbeard: There is surely some form of law and order around here?
Sequoia Wisetree: Better let us scout

Bawbuthor : I see shadows on the ridge.
Stanley the Stout: *w* bandits on the ridge above it
Sequoia Wisetree: Things moving nearby.
Nori Longbeard: aye, more there I reckon.
Bawbuthor : get im nuli
Sequoia Wisetree: BANDITS
Stanley the Stout: few minor weapons
Bawbuthor : another ring, and some rocks

Stanley the Stout: dwarf over at the cave
Stanley the Stout: mebbe Nori talk to'm?
Bawbuthor : *lets Nori go first*
Nori Longbeard: Hail freind dwarf!
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Sequoia Wisetree: Hello.
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Nori Longbeard: No, I'm not selling.
Bawbuthor : What's on his legs?
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Nori Longbeard: war paint?
Bawbuthor : Are those tattoos?
Stanley the Stout: so?
Nori Longbeard: He be buying if you be selling.
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey like that
Sequoia Wisetree: I try
Stanley the Stout: buying what?
Bawbuthor : Wonder if he can tell me about these rings and boots I found.
Sequoia Wisetree: Got 6 gold coins.
Stanley the Stout: *watches*
Sequoia Wisetree: I'll check around.
Nori Longbeard: Be careful.
Stanley the Stout: that merchant on the road offered better prices
Bawbuthor : He wants a lot of gold to tell me what the rings and boots do.
Nori Longbeard: Well -- anyone can see he isn't doing the best at business from this cave.
Stanley the Stout: maybe one of us can figure out what they are?
Bawbuthor : I may ask him about the boots, I got a hundred gold from all the stuff I just sold.
Sequoia Wisetree: All clear here.
Bawbuthor : do any of you mind?
Stanley the Stout: Mind what?
Bawbuthor : I found some interesting stuff.
Stanley the Stout: set it out and we can all take a look.
Stanley the Stout: maybe someone can figure it out.
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Stanley the Stout: anyone else?
Nori Longbeard: looks like nice stuff -- bandits have it?
Sequoia Wisetree: My magic is weak. Been away too long.
Stanley the Stout: Nori you know bout such stuff?
Nori Longbeard: I haven't picked up anything.
Bawbuthor : yeah, and the boots I had from earlier in the trip.
Nori Longbeard: Nope -- not my field of expertise I'm afraid.
Bawbuthor : I can split the gold four ways, 25 gold each, or use it to see what one item is.
Stanley the Stout: Split it
Sequoia Wisetree: Or wait until we get a chance...
Bawbuthor : *looks to the other two*
Bawbuthor : Okay, I can hold onto it a little longer.
Sequoia Wisetree: The potion you gave me, does it help for such thing?
Nori Longbeard: Shrugs.
Bawbuthor : I dunno. Maybe Nori does.
Nori Longbeard: eh?
Sequoia Wisetree: The green potion.
Stanley the Stout: mages never round when you need one.
Bawbuthor : some potion I found, gave it to the Sequioa.
Nori Longbeard: Never saw a green potion.
Stanley the Stout: that was a healing draught.
Nori Longbeard: oh.
Sequoia Wisetree: No smells something else.
Nori Longbeard: show me?
Sequoia Wisetree: Told you it's green
Nori Longbeard: You don't know what that is?
Stanley the Stout: oh that's a different one.
Bawbuthor : *leans against the rock*
Nori Longbeard: Quaf it before a fight I'm thinking.

Sequoia Wisetree: Let's go then.
Stanley the Stout: So back to the road then?
Bawbuthor : *stands back up*
Sequoia Wisetree: Which way?
Stanley the Stout: we going to the mill or on the inn?
Nori Longbeard: West to the mill?
Sequoia Wisetree: We scout first.
Stanley the Stout: ok
Bawbuthor : we cant get to the inn, until we get to the Mil..
Sequoia Wisetree: Hold
Bawbuthor : Hold?
Nori Longbeard: eh?
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: some big dog looking thing ahead
Nori Longbeard: oh? A wolf perhaps?
Sequoia Wisetree: I mean I think the noisy ones should hold back a little.
Bawbuthor : How big?
Stanley the Stout: very
Bawbuthor : *huffs* Well.
Stanley the Stout: two of them
Bawbuthor : Make sure you soft ones run behind the strong when the time comes.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * two
Nori Longbeard: ok I'll wait back here -- don't go and get yerself killed though.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * What do you think?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : *squints*
Stanley the Stout: either deal with'm or we gotta go another way.
Nori Longbeard: *sniffs*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w* Probably as strong as bears.
Bawbuthor : Well, so am I.
Nori Longbeard: Bears! That is a whole nother animal!
Stanley the Stout: circle round about path to bypass'm
Bawbuthor : Sort of. *under his breath*
Stanley the Stout: *looks at warriors*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * North or South?
Stanley the Stout: up to you.
Nori Longbeard: Let's not be messin' with any bears.
Nuli Scher: "Yes, Bawbuthor. What could I do for you?"
Bawbuthor: "I want to change your tactics."
Nuli Scher: "What exactly do you want me to do?"
Sequoia Wisetree: shhh
Bawbuthor: "Defend me and don't attack until I do."
Nuli Scher: "Very well"
Nuli Scher: "What exactly do you want me to do?"
Stanley the Stout: *w*someone below
Bawbuthor: "I don't want to change anything else right now."
Nuli Scher: "Yes, Bawbuthor. What could I do for you?"
Bawbuthor: "Never mind."
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: lizardfolk ahead
Bawbuthor : *looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * lizard
Stanley the Stout: in the marsh
Bawbuthor : Lizards, or dogs it sounds like to me.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * several
Stanley the Stout: *w* hunters
Stanley the Stout: not friendly
Bawbuthor : now, aint that inviting.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Bandits?
Nori Longbeard: Something very big to the south!
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We have traps?
Stanley the Stout: unfriendlies all directions
Sequoia Wisetree: Pick your poison.
Stanley the Stout: rather not be surrounded to start.
Nori Longbeard: dwarven ale?
Bawbuthor : dogs. I hear lizard men are quite crazy, never know what they'll do.
Nori Longbeard: Bait and trap?
Sequoia Wisetree: Where to retreat? Back to the village?
Bawbuthor : Retreat? Are you kidding?
Sequoia Wisetree: If need be.
Stanley the Stout: nope pick one and shift to attack where we have clear line of retreat
Nori Longbeard: I think stick to the roads?
Sequoia Wisetree: Can we take one big wolf at a time?
Bawbuthor : Well, retreat behind Nuli and I.
Nori Longbeard: Might be some casualties...
Stanley the Stout: dunno
Stanley the Stout: could try
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * four men here.
Stanley the Stout: ok then
Stanley the Stout: two dogs
Stanley the Stout: can try shooting on at long range to draw it away
Stanley the Stout: back up
Stanley the Stout: more
Sequoia Wisetree: They keep close to each other.
Stanley the Stout: get well behind me
Bawbuthor : I still only see one.
Nori Longbeard: You get one here -- and I'll see if i can hold it off long enough for you to kill it?
Bawbuthor : and where's Stanley.
Bawbuthor : Oh.
Stanley the Stout: back up 10 paces or more.
Nori Longbeard: enough?

Bawbuthor : good work, Nuli.
Stanley the Stout: well that worked
Sequoia Wisetree: So far.
Stanley the Stout: not as hoped
Nori Longbeard: ok -- thought you would bring them further back.
Stanley the Stout: but same result
Bawbuthor : Now, what was that thing.
Sequoia Wisetree: Beetles
Sequoia Wisetree: Monster
Bawbuthor : Monster Beetles?
Sequoia Wisetree: Want to shoot some beetles?
Nori Longbeard: Not a beetle.
Stanley the Stout: another manbeast
Stanley the Stout: up head by the bridge
Bawbuthor : Hey, there's the Mill.
Stanley the Stout: left of the bridge
Stanley the Stout: hiding in the stream
Nori Longbeard: More ahead.
Bawbuthor : good swing.
Nori Longbeard: Place is crawling with 'em.
Sequoia Wisetree: Three
Stanley the Stout: some to the left and below as well
Sequoia Wisetree: We can hold thhis bridge
Bawbuthor : Lets not get surrounded.
Stanley the Stout: 3-4 down below to the left
Sequoia Wisetree: The bridge is a good choke point.
Stanley the Stout: mebbe deal with the beetles first
Sequoia Wisetree: Want beelte stew?
Nori Longbeard: there is the beetle.
Stanley the Stout: call back Nuli
Sequoia Wisetree: Come Up
Stanley the Stout: need to stay together

Bawbuthor : necklace, ugly thing.
Sequoia Wisetree: We are outnumbered we cannot rush into close combat. Draw them to us. We are on higher ground.
Bawbuthor : belt and gems
Bawbuthor : cave over there.
Sequoia Wisetree: Cave on the North side.
Stanley the Stout: priest you may wanna treat our warrior
Bawbuthor : I got a potion, if need be.
Stanley the Stout: best save potions for when spells are gone
Bawbuthor : thanks, I feel better already.
Stanley the Stout: cave then?
Nori Longbeard: Right.

Sequoia Wisetree: Clear
Sequoia Wisetree: Hold
Stanley the Stout: more ahead
Sequoia Wisetree: They are everywhere.
Stanley the Stout: ouch
Sequoia Wisetree: Greenstones.
Bawbuthor : thanks again
Nori Longbeard: Right -- you might consider some better armor -- good dwarven steel.
Sequoia Wisetree: Archers don't need big armors.
Stanley the Stout: let me take a look at the gear again
Sequoia Wisetree: More shiny rocks
Nori Longbeard: Shiny rocks?
Sequoia Wisetree: Greenstones
Stanley the Stout: hold up a moment
Nori Longbeard: oiy lucky you!
Sequoia Wisetree: It's for us not for me. think i care for shiny rocks?
Nori Longbeard: You should -- folks pay good coin for 'em.
Stanley the Stout: bah
Stanley the Stout: Guess we continue on.
Bawbuthor : no luck with the items. oh well.
Bawbuthor : Lead on.
Sequoia Wisetree: One red bottle
Bawbuthor : hey, a red potion
Stanley the Stout: potions for the warrior in the old wagon
Stanley the Stout: hmm *sorts thru goods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Some of these rats are good at sneaking behind us.
Stanley the Stout: hold up a minute while I examine this stuff
Bawbuthor : nothing in the cart
Stanley the Stout: ok... here's what we got
Stanley the Stout: I can use the boots
Sequoia Wisetree: I could use the boots.
Bawbuthor : I can't
Sequoia Wisetree: But I need nothing.
Stanley the Stout: ok wisetree take them if you can use them.
Bawbuthor : do you want the belt, Nori?
Sequoia Wisetree: No you take them give them to me later.
Bawbuthor : I could use an actual blessing from a priest, at times.
Nori Longbeard: No, I don't need a belt.
Nori Longbeard: Heh -- used it up Healing you friend.
Bawbuthor : I think the belt lets anyone bless.
Stanley the Stout: right
Stanley the Stout: squared away?
Sequoia Wisetree: But if you find scrolls of arcane you can give some to me for studying.
Stanley the Stout: ok
Bawbuthor : sure. *puts on the belt for the time being*
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey check these.
Sequoia Wisetree: Good for priest.
Nori Longbeard: Any can use those?
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey take the healing scrolls.

Nori Longbeard: You killed it -- good shot.
Stanley the Stout: throwing axes anyone?
Sequoia Wisetree: Acid?
Nori Longbeard: Nori, stay back friend.
Stanley the Stout: a few minor gems
Sequoia Wisetree: shhh movement
Nuli Scher: Embrace Death, and long for it!
Bawbuthor : nuli, no
Nuli Scher: To Arms!
Bawbuthor : armor
Bawbuthor : gloves and 47 gold
Sequoia Wisetree: Smoke?
Nori Longbeard: ok ... out of spells for the day.
Sequoia Wisetree: There!
Stanley the Stout: a few gems and a little gold
Bawbuthor : find anything, Stanley?

Fallen Red Forgotten Guardian: *A foul mist rises from where the body lies. You wonder if it has anything to do with all the activity around here...*

Stanley the Stout: picked up a spear as well
Bawbuthor : big shield.
Sequoia Wisetree: Vanished?
Stanley the Stout: so back out?
Bawbuthor : crumbled like old bread.
Sequoia Wisetree: More creatures lurking here.
Bawbuthor : lots of wagons
Bawbuthor : Stanley?

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: Need to find the way out.
Stanley the Stout: this way
Nori Longbeard: Are you lost?
Bawbuthor : arrows
Stanley the Stout: nope just looting
Sequoia Wisetree: I need arows
Stanley the Stout: some in the cart
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks
Bawbuthor : I have some more, if your out.
Sequoia Wisetree: Quite a few here

Sequoia Wisetree: There is a glowing sign to the West.
Sequoia Wisetree: Help
Sequoia Wisetree: Help!
Sequoia Wisetree: Somebody inside!
Bawbuthor : I can sense caves in the area.
Stanley the Stout: we just came from the caves
Sequoia Wisetree: Too late?
Bawbuthor : I know.
Sequoia Wisetree: THERE

Stanley the Stout: more stuff needing indentified?
Bawbuthor : lots of stuff here.
Stanley the Stout: found nother potion
Sequoia Wisetree: So who is she?
Sequoia Wisetree: You all right Madam?
Sequoia Wisetree: * wait *
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Sequoia Wisetree: You talk to her may be.
Nori Longbeard: You want me to ask her?
Stanley the Stout: um
Stanley the Stout: you're standing there
Nori Longbeard: I'm a dwarf -- she'd likely prefer a young male human?
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Greetings! I am Nana. Thank you for chasing out these mole creatures. I do not know what upset them but they started rampaging a few hours ago.
Bawbuthor: What are these creatures?
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: These mole creatures have been inhabiting the hilly regions with their warrens since people settled the area. They are a nuisance but they have never attacked in such numbers...
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: ...nor have they ever attacked a settlement. The caravan routes will surely have trouble passing this region now unless they are defeated.
Bawbuthor: With all the holes, I sense that there are extensive excavations beneath us now...
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Quite possibly! They live in tunnels underground. Usually they are directed by a leader of some sort. Perhaps you can root out the problem.
Sequoia Wisetree: I think we can use crates to barricade this ploace and spend the night here.
Bawbuthor: I certainly plan to try.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: I wish you the best of luck.
Bawbuthor: Caravans here?
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Yes, 6 roads from all directions cross here. Unfortunately, it is also the closest a common road travels to the Emyn wilderness.
Bawbuthor: go on...
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Since the great Merchant Road was opened to the South, traffic has dwindled to only the merchants that really need to cross east-west quickly... or the desparate.
Nori Longbeard: No need, we have already cleared the cave.
Bawbuthor: go on...
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Still, a caravan crosses here and to the Inn every few days.
Bawbuthor: I hope we will have some things to sell the merchant when one arrives.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: A halfling tradesman head to along the West road shortly before the moles attacked. I heard he was desperately late and was planning on cutting across the northwestern wilderness.
Bawbuthor: go on...
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: You might be able to find him.
Bawbuthor: With all the holes, I sense that there are extensive excavations beneath us now... [Done]
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Quite possibly! They live in tunnels underground. Usually they are directed by a leader of some sort. Perhaps you can root out the problem.
Bawbuthor: I certainly plan to try.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: I wish you the best of luck.
Bawbuthor: return.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Now that I've told you about these creatures, is there more you wish to know?
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Bawbuthor: With the dangers of the moles, I'm glad you are still well.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: I have been pinned in here for hours. I guess I must smell like moldy cheese or some type of mole food! Thank you again.
Bawbuthor: What were you doing here?
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: I'm was headed to meet my sister at the inn just up the road when I was attacked and trapped here.
Bawbuthor: The Inn at the 7th Ray?
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Yes! that's right. Are you headed there?
Sequoia Wisetree: * watch the door *
Bawbuthor: Yes, I am.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Very good. Do you know where it is?
Bawbuthor: I know the general direction but not specifically.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: From here, it is simple. The Inn is through the large gates to the north and directly down the road on the outskirts of the Forest of Manadh. However, there is much to see before the forest. Happy adventuring!
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: I've told you I'm headed to the Inn near here. Did you want to ask me something else?
Bawbuthor: Travel safely, Nana. I hope we see each other again under less violent circumstances.
Nana Suilanna, A Travelling Acolyte: Good luck! I will be heading to the inn shortly... after stopping by to see if my friend Cashara is ok. She lives close by, along the west road. She should be able to take care of herself but I want to be sure.
Bawbuthor: Safe Travels. *Nana leaves*

Stanley the Stout: hmm
Nori Longbeard: hmm ... trouble everywhere it seems.
Stanley the Stout: I have one unknown amulet.
Bawbuthor : I wonder if I should have went with her?
Stanley the Stout: any other unknown stuff?
Bawbuthor : I have lots of stuff.
Nori Longbeard: Sounded like she would meet up with you at the Inn.
Stanley the Stout: I one potion we can try.
Bawbuthor : one more
Stanley the Stout: that it?
Bawbuthor : give it a try
Bawbuthor : well, I still have the other ring, and two daggers.
Bawbuthor : oh, and gloves
Sequoia Wisetree: I was saying we can secure this mill with crates and take a short rest if need be.
Stanley the Stout: unknown?
Stanley the Stout: anything else? not sure how many I can do.
Bawbuthor : I say look closely at the gloves, shield and armor.
Stanley the Stout: ok
Stanley the Stout: just I rather have too much than too little to check
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: very well
Bawbuthor : anyone want to try resting?
Stanley the Stout: amulet's handy for me, darkvision
Stanley the Stout: shield and armor are done
Stanley the Stout: didn't get to the gloves.
Bawbuthor : I can use the armor, and give someone else my old armor.
Bawbuthor : Nori, you should take the shield.
Nori Longbeard: I'll take it if no one else wants it.
Bawbuthor : anyone want that armor?
Stanley the Stout: don't use'em
Stanley the Stout: nope, sell it
Nori Longbeard: ah very nice!
Bawbuthor : I can set up a rest spot in here, I think.
Nori Longbeard: Thank you.
Stanley the Stout: Ok let's do that.

Serenity: Oh, there are more?
Serenity: Hmm.
Sequoia Wisetree: Are you some kind of Witch?
Serenity: I heard fighting.
Bawbuthor : What are you looking for, exactly?
Serenity: *scowls*
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Serenity: What a rude question.
Stanley the Stout: *eyes newcomer*
Sequoia Wisetree: Well given all the things we had to kill to get here you must understand...
Serenity: I was looking for adventurers
Serenity: it looks like I've found some.
Sequoia Wisetree: And?
Stanley the Stout: Why?
Bawbuthor : If yer looking for a fight, we just finished the last group wanting to test our mettle.
Serenity: Hmm.... *swallows something that tastes bad*
Serenity: Perhaps I'll follow for now?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Serenity: It might be fun. * looks around at the group*
Sequoia Wisetree: * look at the others *
Bawbuthor : *sighs*
Serenity: If you'd rather fight me, well...
Stanley the Stout: Could be useful
Bawbuthor : I'd rather, no.
Bawbuthor : not
Serenity: *smiles condescendingly* good.
Stanley the Stout: you know bout magic stuff then?
Serenity: *perks her brow a bit* yes?
Sequoia Wisetree: Well if she is not one of these werecreature but if you are we are ready mylady so watch your steps.
Bawbuthor : *looks at the halfling*
Stanley the Stout: maybe she can tell bout this stuff we found then
Bawbuthor : *looks at the lady, untrusting*
Sequoia Wisetree: You have a name?
Stanley the Stout: That other wizard we had disappeared rather sudden like
Stanley the Stout: I'm Stanley
Bawbuthor : *looks at the lady, suspiciously*
Sequoia Wisetree: He is our thie.... er short scout.
Bawbuthor : *lights his torch*
Bawbuthor : *looks closer at her*
Serenity: *closes her eyes, and feels the items, one at a time*
Sequoia Wisetree: I'm Sequoia Archer Scout
Bawbuthor : The dwarf is Nuli, I'm Bawbuthor.
Sequoia Wisetree: Nuli is our axe-dwarf beer drinker
Serenity: *briefly her eyes spark as she glances at the fire, but she returns to fondling the items mystically, perhaps making a show of it*
Serenity: Ah... *frowns neutrally* I don't understand these items.
Stanley the Stout: Great
Serenity: In time I will be able to.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Serenity: Would you like them back?
Stanley the Stout: naturally
Bawbuthor : *looks around*
Serenity: If you would pay me, I would be able to identify all of the items now...
Serenity: but we'll sort that out later.
Sequoia Wisetree: Pay? * spit *
Bawbuthor : *jaw hangs open*
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan let us go take a look at the weather... Yes?
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : after you, lady

Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Rat
Stanley the Stout: nother big mole thing
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * hold rat ahead
Stanley the Stout: lemme set a trap
Sequoia Wisetree: shhhh
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * could be more nearby
Bawbuthor : gold, spell
Bawbuthor : gems
Stanley the Stout: not exactly the plan
Sequoia Wisetree: CLEAR
Stanley the Stout: but it worked
Bawbuthor : I got the stuff

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: hey
Bawbuthor : yeah?
Sequoia Wisetree: What the?
Stanley the Stout: slow down there lady
Sequoia Wisetree: What was she thinking?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Serenity: Ah, yes.
Serenity: I was just thinking, "perhaps I should let the lads go first"
Stanley the Stout: ya might wanna hang back there lady
Sequoia Wisetree: Lady we scout first you come when we say so. Right Stan?
Bawbuthor : Way to go, Nuli, you totally missed that panther.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*

Stanley the Stout: *w* hunter
Bawbuthor : Yeah, but Nuli is a warrior, *grins*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We are not alone.
Serenity: Don't go to far now...
Stanley the Stout: nother cat up the road
Sequoia Wisetree: Four that that pit.
Bawbuthor : Never did hear your name, lady.
Serenity: *mutters* please...
Sequoia Wisetree: * down
Sequoia Wisetree: They don't look friendly
Stanley the Stout: say we skirt the pit and take the cat
Serenity: You may call me Serenity, if you wish.
Stanley the Stout: seems we were headed north right?
Bawbuthor : *grumbles*
Serenity: Or simply, "witch" *grins mischeviously*
Bawbuthor : Inn is north.
Stanley the Stout: wasn't there a job for us up there?
Sequoia Wisetree: I'll call you mad if you run into another big cat like that.
Serenity: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : the priest said she would meet us there.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * there

Stanley the Stout: *stalks cat*
Serenity: *strokes her chin and laughs quietly*
Sequoia Wisetree: Another cat is nearby
Serenity: *her spell catches the dead cat to twitch*
Bawbuthor : Good shot, stan
Bawbuthor : get it nuli
Bawbuthor : You okay,Nuli?
Serenity: *watches sequoia bleed suspiciously*
Serenity: Do you need a potion?
Sequoia Wisetree: I'll survive
Bawbuthor : *glances at Sequoia*

Stanley the Stout: *waves others forward*
Bawbuthor : this must be the Inn.
Stanley the Stout: looks like the place
Sequoia Wisetree: * try to look at the windows *
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: Hello, what may I do for you?
Bawbuthor : *listens*
Stanley the Stout: What brings you to such a dangerous place?
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: I've been sent to investigate what's wrong with the routes out here. Now I know... bandits, ghosts, burrowing creatures, witches, and lots of other things. I'm waiting for the next Caravan out of here!
Stanley the Stout: Yes, we've been encountering quite a few hostiles in our travels.
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: Hello, what may I do for you?
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah that's the inn we were looking for, right?
Stanley the Stout: Are you up for some business?
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: Sure I am!
Stanley the Stout: Ok.
Bawbuthor : *looks at Serenity when the man says witches.
Serenity: *returns his gaze with a scowl*
Sequoia Wisetree: Shall we get some rest or what?
Serenity: *but continues to look around idly, as if nothing happened*
Bawbuthor : I have stuff to sell.
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: Hello, what may I do for you?
Bawbuthor: Are you up for some business?
Yulsam, Caravan Teamster: Sure I am!
Sequoia Wisetree: We may do that after
Bawbuthor: Ok.
Serenity: If you'd like, I'll identify your items
Stanley the Stout: got some gold to split
Serenity: If you'll give me a share of the loot
Bawbuthor : Share of our loot?
Sequoia Wisetree: I'm going to rest a bit if I can.
Bawbuthor : You just joined us.
Serenity: A small share.
Serenity: Just so I can identify your items.
Serenity: *shrugs*
Serenity: Or you could pay top dollar for a shop keeper to do it for you
Sequoia Wisetree: * yawn *
Sequoia Wisetree: Who's good at bargaining?
Stanley the Stout: I am
Stanley the Stout: gloves give you some extra umph in fighting....
Serenity: If you can give me a scroll of identify, I'll identify all the items
Serenity: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: something either of you use?
Sequoia Wisetree: Let me try my luck then.
Serenity: *yawns and goes to rest*
Bawbuthor : nah, the gloves could be sold
Stanley the Stout: ok
Bawbuthor : I still have a few items that need looking at.
Sequoia Wisetree: I got 20 gold
Serenity: Oh? Thank you.
Bawbuthor : Here is your share of what the mole man had.
Serenity: Ah, alright.
Serenity: Perhaps that's fair. *titters*
Stanley the Stout: Ok.
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes Sir all the arrows I can possibly carry. I have no time to make them.
Bawbuthor : from the gloves?
Bawbuthor : I'd like the daggers back, if possible.
Stanley the Stout: and the items you gave me to sell
Stanley the Stout: why'd you give'm to me then?
Bawbuthor : to take a look at.
Serenity: He gave you a lot for those gloves, didn't you? *to the teamster*
Bawbuthor : I'm pretty sure I said that.
Stanley the Stout: Sorry didn't hear that.
Bawbuthor : so, where are the daggers?
Sequoia Wisetree: What's wrong?
Stanley the Stout: he gave me 240 or so for the gloves I think
Stanley the Stout: I sold the daggers
Serenity: I hope you don't want them back...
Bawbuthor : *frowns*
Bawbuthor : I shall have to be more careful who I let look at the stuff.
Serenity: The asking price is pretty steep, especially for what they're worth
Stanley the Stout: That's what the last gold I gave you was for.
Bawbuthor : I suppose at that point, the daggers were already gone.

Bawbuthor : *walks off into a room*
Serenity: *browses the books*
Serenity: *quickly snatches one up and starts reading*
Sequoia Wisetree: Try those bed I slept like a baby.
Bawbuthor : *rests*
Stanley the Stout: *lounges on a couch*
Serenity: I've had cozier sleeps, but it'll do.
Bawbuthor : *sits on a couch*
Stanley the Stout: So, now what?
Serenity: I'm.. going to mingle downstairs
Sequoia Wisetree: Beware these have bugs better nnot seat there.
Serenity: Perhaps we can discuss our plans at a meal?
Bawbuthor : Well, we made it to the Inn. Now on to Emyn?
Sequoia Wisetree: At last!
Stanley the Stout: Mebbe there's some work to be had round here?
Bawbuthor : *gets up off the couch*
Sequoia Wisetree: My bow is ready.
Serenity: Very good.
Bawbuthor : Everyone rested?
Serenity: So are my fingertips.

Stanley the Stout: *stops and eyes gnome*
Bawbuthor : Hey,
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Ack! I can't remember anything! I can't remember your name even!
Sequoia Wisetree: What's wrong?
Serenity: I haven't told you my name yet.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Oh, in that case, I can't remember where... nevermind.
Serenity: My name is Serenity, Serenity.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Argh!! Now I need to remember it! Serenity... Serenity...
Serenity: What do you do, Sir Gnome?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: I am an inventor, and my name is Meroppi. I invent things.
Serenity: hmm, what do you invent?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: For instance, I invented the pins you use on your map.
Serenity: These pins?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Yup! Those little pins.
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Serenity: They sometimes prick my fingers.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Ahh! Complaints! Always complaints! ...and if I made them dull, you'd say they weren't sticking in your map very well!
Serenity: Good Bye.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Ack! I can't remember anything! I can't remember your name even!
Bawbuthor : *shakes his head*
Serenity: ... He didn't take my complaint very respectfully...
Serenity: *sighs*
Sequoia Wisetree: You're kind of funny.
Sequoia Wisetree: I haven't told you my name yet.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Oh, in that case, I can't remember where... nevermind.
Sequoia Wisetree: My name is Sequoia, Sequoia Wisetree.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Argh!! Now I need to remember it! Sequoia... Sequoia...
Sequoia Wisetree: What do you do, Sir Gnome?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: I am an inventor, and my name is Meroppi. I invent things.
Sequoia Wisetree: hmm, what do you invent?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: For instance, I invented the pins you use on your map.
Sequoia Wisetree: These pins?
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Yup! Those little pins.
Sequoia Wisetree: I'm impressed.
Meroppi The Crazy Inventor: Thank you.
Sequoia Wisetree: Good Bye.
Serenity: Me? Am I funny?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's eat.
Stanley the Stout: I need a beer
Serenity: Ah, that's a good response.

Tavern Waitress: Can I get you something?
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Welcome and have a seat. Your friends are coming down now. Leave the table when old friendships are rekindled and everyone is ready
Cassandra, The Woman from Brandywine: I hope it will be safe soon.
Serenity: I think I'll have a beer as well.
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Hehe!
Sequoia Wisetree: This place is huge.
Cassandra, The Woman from Brandywine: Sigh...
Anlaw, The Tailor: Hello, my name is Anlaw. I'm a tailor.
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: Hello Anlaw. My name is Sequoia. How are you tonight?
Anlaw, The Tailor: *Chuckles* I'm well enough. I arrived at the Inn in one piece at least! Not everyone can say that.
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: I like exploring!
Sequoia Wisetree: That's the truth... Tell me, tailor. What are you doing in these parts?
Anlaw, The Tailor: Dangerous for a defenseless tradesman no? *Laughs* You might call me a tailor of unusual products... I specialize in hide tailoring. Hmm, do you have anything I might be able to work?
Sequoia Wisetree: Why yes, I have this Vanisher Pelt...
Anlaw, The Tailor: ...amazing... Look at how it fades in and out of view. This is delicate material too.. slightly less intact, and I wager it would fade right out of existance.
Serenity: Don't mind if I do! *picks up someone elses ale and slugs it down*
Anlaw, The Tailor: Yes, I can work this for you into a beautiful cloak. It might retain some of the original properties. Would you like that?
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Mommy, I found a dark cave!
Serenity: *Burp*
Tavern Waitress: Ice brewed in the Iron Hills, friend. Enjoy.
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes, indeed I would. How much woud it cost me?
Anlaw, The Tailor: It will cost you 100 gold and will take a little while. Do you still want to do it?
Cassandra, The Woman from Brandywine: I hope it will be safe soon.
Tavern Waitress: My feet are killing me.
Tavern Waitress: What'll it be?
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey, this tailor here is asking 100 Gold for a special cloak. Deal?
Serenity: A cloak? Hmm..
Stanley the Stout: sure why not
Serenity: Shouldn't you ask to see it first?
Sequoia Wisetree: Hm OK I guess.
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes yes! I eagerly await the result.
Anlaw, The Tailor: Done. Let me have the pelt!
Sequoia Wisetree: Here is the pelt.
Anlaw, The Tailor: Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I'll have it ready for you in a while.
Stanley the Stout: we have more than one pelt?
Sequoia Wisetree: I gave hin the cat skin
Cassandra, The Woman from Brandywine: I hope it will be safe soon.
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Hi!
Bawbuthor: Did you say you saw a cave?
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Oh yes! I play a lot outside the Inn. It's not that far, but it's hard to find. Want me to tell you where it is?
Sequoia Wisetree: *him
Bawbuthor: Yes, it's just what I'm looking for.
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Well, if you go outside the Inn and run into the forest more, you'll see a stream. If you go on the left side, you'll come to a big tree...
Bawbuthor: go on...
Logan, A Curious Kiddie: Behind the big tree is the cave. You need to know where it is to find it!
Stanley the Stout: might be worth hunting more of them
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Welcome! Thank you for rescuing my beloved sister. She told me how exciting things were at the Old Mill. I wish I were there. I would have bopped a few more mole heads. And in under 20 seconds too!
Sequoia Wisetree: Your sister?
Harper Bendt: ...snicker snack! snicker snack!...
Sequoia Wisetree: Hello Ilana. It's nice to meet Nana's sister. Are you enjoying yourself?
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Certainly! Nice crowd tonight and the brew is fine. We've been sharing stories together. Care to hear one of mine?
Harper Bendt: ...They were forsaken - Egolor, the Elves call it...
Sequoia Wisetree: Certainly.
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': I'm sure you're ears are stuffed with Arnor-this and Arnor-that! I have a different story for you...
Harper Bendt: ...They were forsaken - Egolor, the Elves call it...
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': I heard quite a lot about this as a child.
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Of the multitude of Elven Ballads, there are a few concerning the Underdark - the subterranean world below this one. Tremendous caverns and networks of twisting caves down below, under a sunless sky.
Bawbuthor : Kid says theres a cave close by.
Harper Bendt: ...They were forsaken - Egolor, the Elves call it...
Sequoia Wisetree: Chilly...
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': There is a beautiful crystal city sitting in the middle of a vast lake... supposedly.
Harper Bendt: ...not all the Valor were good...
Stanley the Stout: So?
Sequoia Wisetree: Imagine that!
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Strangely, many of the rare ballads are sung here, in this region.
Harper Bendt: ...then the rogue said...
Sequoia Wisetree: Really?
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Who knows why? I'm glad since I certainly love to hear them.
Sequoia Wisetree: I agree.
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': See, now watch me bait my sister...
I have something to add.
Harper Bendt: ...who knows? perhaps one of you is the...
Sequoia Wisetree: go on, Nana.
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': A few years back, a delirious man was found stumbling around the forests. Before the bears got him, we took him here.
Harper Bendt: ...thundering hooves heared ten leagues away...
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': He screamed about blue men and women emerging from the silence at the bottom of the world and walking under moon-less sky.
Harper Bendt: ...swinging and slashing! Blood was...
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': He died shortly after. But it was later found that he made quite a name for himself as a resourceful adventurer who finds what others do not.
Harper Bendt: ...snicker snack! snicker snack!...
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Blue-skinned! but...
Harper Bendt: ...'Oio naa elealla alesse!', said the elf, which means ...
Nana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': Hush! Yes, we all know what the Ballads say about the people of the Underdark.
Harper Bendt: Hello there! Fine Evening we're having!
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks for sharing that story, Ilana.
Ilana Suilanna, a 'Welcomer': My pleasure. Have a good evening!
Harper Bendt: ...sailed far to the West, to the lands named...
Serenity: Your presence makes it all the finer, Harper.
Harper Bendt: Ahem! Why thank you. I aim to please for my daily bread. Since you like my tales, I can tell you more, if you wish.
Harper Bendt: ...and huge it was, like ten Mallorn trees...
Serenity: Yes, please!
Harper Bendt: *Takes a drink* Let's see... right outside, the Inn are the outskirts of The Forest of Manadh which extends north.
Harper Bendt: ...snicker snack! snicker snack!...
Harper Bendt: Travel north and then west, you'll find the forest ends and you'll be walking the Parth - but that is far far away.
Harper Bendt: ...sailed far to the West, to the lands named...
Harper Bendt: ...swinging and slashing! Blood was...
Harper Bendt: East of here, the forest abruptly stops and the majestic Face of Silivren begins...unscalable by nearly anything short of a mountain goat.
Harper Bendt: ...snicker snack! snicker snack!...
Serenity: Oh, the Face of Silivren?
Harper Bendt: The Face? It is the range of impassable cliffs stopping the forests to the east. Funny enough, in the stories of old...
Harper Bendt: ...around Beltaine, the witches of Mithren dance...
Harper Bendt: it is often used as the center point where evil hordes and what not start their rampage. Nice imagery... the Face of Silivren is. Elvish for Glittering.
Harper Bendt: ...not all the Valor were good...
Serenity: Oh... I see..
Harper Bendt: Hear of something else?
Harper Bendt: ...swinging and slashing! Blood was...
Serenity: I'm interested in the Parth.
Harper Bendt: The Parth consists of broken grass highlands. It's rugged country with many gorges and plateaus. A majesty region for these parts.
Harper Bendt: ...and huge it was, like ten Mallorn trees...
Serenity: continue.
Harper Bendt: Two to three days journey from here, it was once inhabited by peoples long since vanished, I hear.
*Bendt looks into the distance*
Serenity: I see..
Harper Bendt: Anything else?
Sequoia Wisetree: Are we going to help these people or go straight to the mountain?
Serenity: Tell me more about the Forest of Manadh.
Tavern Waitress: Hello! I hope you're having a good time.

Tavern Waitress: oh no.. no.. no..
Old Man: *Gasp* Bandits!
Tavern Guest: *Gasp*
Tavern Guest: Oh no! It's Marlfin!
Tavern Guest: What's happening!
Tavern Guest: Oh no! It's Marlfin!
Bawbuthor : I'm interested in seeing the cave.
Tavern Waitress: oh no.. no.. no..
Marlfin the Outlaw: Ha! Ha! Ha!
Tavern Waitress: oh no.. no.. no..
Marlfin the Outlaw: Alright Boys, kill them all and get the loot!
Marlfin the Outlaw: Now!
Stanley the Stout: BANDITS
Sequoia Wisetree: What the?
Sequoia Wisetree: TO ARMS
Naur Wizard: Bah! I'm headed back to the Camp.
Marlfin the Outlaw: Ahh! Fun's over. Move out!

Serenity: Bunch of.... *strings together a lot of curses*
Sequoia Wisetree: Bandits!
Bawbuthor : *picks up bandit stuff*
Sequoia Wisetree: They killed half the people!
Stanley the Stout: *looks around outside*
Sequoia Wisetree: Did they kill the tailor too?
Bawbuthor : *looks at the dead bandits*
Stanley the Stout: No sign of bandits
Stanley the Stout: a few wolves hanging round though
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Stanley the Stout: Guess I'll have that beer now
Stanley the Stout: *grabs an ale or two off tables*
Sequoia Wisetree: There's a hobbit here.
Sequoia Wisetree: A what?
Enrapt Listener: I'narr en gothrim glinuva nuin I'anor! (*You know this common Elven vow: "The bones of our foes will gelam under the sun"*)
Sequoia Wisetree: Where is everybody?
Bawbuthor : Stan went in for a drink.
Bawbuthor : Nuli and I are keeping an eye out for bandits, or wolves.
Bawbuthor : Did you get some arrows, Sequoia?

Stanley the Stout: *walks out stuffing several bottles of ale into pack*
Bawbuthor : I'd like one of them, next time, we rest, Stan.
Serenity : Would anyone like some potions?
Serenity : Also, I need someone to cary something I find quite heavy
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes from the merchant upstairs before the massacre.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : I've got quite a few already, thanks, Serenity.
Bawbuthor : What is it?
Serenity : I found these in the inn.
Serenity : Even split?
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks.
Bawbuthor : You two, okay?
Bawbuthor : the kid said the cave was by the river, on the right.
Sequoia Wisetree: North or East?
Bawbuthor : by a large tree.
Bawbuthor : along the river.
Bawbuthor : big tree over there.
Serenity : There aren't very many small trees, at least.
Serenity : Oh yes, that one's bigger
Serenity : Mite, how are you doing?
Bawbuthor : ah ha, the cave
Serenity : *nods*
Bawbuthor : We should probably tell Stan
Stanley the Stout: what?
Bawbuthor : I found the cave.
Stanley the Stout: so I see
Sequoia Wisetree: * whistle *
Bawbuthor : the elf went in already
Sequoia Wisetree: Clear
Sequoia Wisetree: Look at this.

Stanley the Stout: get out of the way
Serenity : A little too cozy for all of us at once.
Bawbuthor : *steps aside as the elf pushes past*
Sequoia Wisetree: HELP
Bawbuthor : get out of the way
Serenity : Come back here
Serenity : never mind...
Bawbuthor : damnable spiders
Serenity : Agreed.
Serenity : *eyes the corpse suspiciously*
Bawbuthor : Nuli, watch our backs.
Serenity : Nuli, would you carry something for me?

Stanley the Stout: more spiders
Bawbuthor : Whatchya got?
Stanley the Stout: several
Bawbuthor : oh, man, those are heavy.
Serenity : They seem valuable.
Serenity : Yes...
Bawbuthor : Can I use them, or are we saving them?
Serenity : You should use them.
Serenity : Or maybe you should sell them.
Sequoia Wisetree: Danger
Bawbuthor : they are heavy, I"ll use them
Sequoia Wisetree: Any plan?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: could try luring one
Bawbuthor : nuli will have none of that
Stanley the Stout: or not
Sequoia Wisetree: Lure them here one by one
Serenity : *gasps*

Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Serenity : That will leave a nasty scar.
Serenity : I never thought I'd say this
Serenity : ever
Serenity : But I do appreciate the company
Stanley the Stout: I'll check ahead
Serenity : See? That's a stalacmite...
Serenity : *frowns*

Stanley the Stout: several big black cats ahead
Bawbuthor : *looks at what she's pointing at*
Serenity : I don't think my bobble likes caves.
Serenity : *pets mite*
Bawbuthor : *looks at the trees growing under ground*
Bawbuthor : I'm ready.
Serenity : *the raven tries to perch on her shoulder, but she shakes him off... the creature 'laughs;*
Sequoia Wisetree: What is this place?
Bawbuthor : some kind of barrow wight.
Sequoia Wisetree: We disturbed the sprits?
Nuli Scher: Say hello to my little friend!
Nuli Scher: You CAN do better than this, can you not?

Bawbuthor : lots of cats
Stanley the Stout: lotsa them
Bawbuthor : ouch, never seen a pack of cats hunting before.
Stanley the Stout: indeed
Serenity : *staggers*
Bawbuthor : And Serenity, best not to take them on close up.
Serenity : I... need some rest
Sequoia Wisetree: We should avoide being cornered like this.
Bawbuthor : Are you okay?
Serenity : I was trying to get away
Serenity : Ah, yes... I won't be able to cast any spells
Stanley the Stout: may need to go back to the inn and rest up
Sequoia Wisetree: This place seems very big, no?
Stanley the Stout: indeed
Bawbuthor : I think I seen a safe spot right when we came in here.
Sequoia Wisetree: But how can trees grow here?
Stanley the Stout: how much supplies we got though?
Stanley the Stout: The inn we can rest up without using our supplies
Bawbuthor : I have quite a few potions still, four healing kits.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let me go up to the water and see.
Stanley the Stout: there were more spirits up there too
Sequoia Wisetree: More spritis
Stanley the Stout: don't think we're in shape to deal with at the moment
Sequoia Wisetree: and cats
Sequoia Wisetree: We cannot stop here too many creatures lurking nearby.
Stanley the Stout: think the inn would be wiser
Sequoia Wisetree: At least we should go up.
Bawbuthor : back to the Inn than.
Stanley the Stout: save our supplies for emergencies.
Sequoia Wisetree: We did fight with honor today.
Bawbuthor : We are alive, I like that idea better
Sequoia Wisetree: We can defend this spot if need be.
Sequoia Wisetree: I wonder where this lead to.
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure it's safe to stay at the inn?

Haudh Wolf: Woof!
Stanley the Stout: hmmm
Stanley the Stout: *eyes wolf warily*
Haudh Wolf: Woof!
Stanley the Stout: This wolf's seems to be following
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey wolf
Bawbuthor : Where's that caravan guy at?
Sequoia Wisetree: Either he fled or he is dead.
Bawbuthor : not good
Sequoia Wisetree: Just like the others.
Stanley the Stout: *helps himself to ale sitting on a table*
Stanley the Stout: *drinks*
Serenity : Interesting wolf.
Sequoia Wisetree: wooo yourself
Stanley the Stout: you lot ready to go?
Serenity : There were a couple of kits for healing wounds and illness
Sequoia Wisetree: Can we handle a group of cats and spirits at the same time?
Serenity : I supposed I was skilled to make use of them, and I still have them.
Stanley the Stout: Dunno
Stanley the Stout: did we slay all the cats?
Stanley the Stout: or were there more?
Sequoia Wisetree: No they are more
Sequoia Wisetree: Spirits by the water and cats on the right side.
Stanley the Stout: perhaps we can lure them away and deal with with little by little
Bawbuthor : Keep a sharp eye out for bandits, too.
Sequoia Wisetree: Did you find or buy magic weapons or can we enchant weapons?
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : *shrugs to Sequioa*
Stanley the Stout: Nah, just have my crossbow
Stanley the Stout: and normal bolts
Serenity : No magic weapons that I've found
Serenity : Except the axes I gave to bawbuthor
Sequoia Wisetree: But my arrows were going through the spirits
Bawbuthor : just these axes.
Sequoia Wisetree: Did your bolts do any good Stan?
Stanley the Stout: Think I pegged a spirit with one.
Stanley the Stout: not certain though
Sequoia Wisetree: Well perhaps we handle the cats first.
Stanley the Stout: right
Sequoia Wisetree: Save your magic lady.
Bawbuthor : and stay at the back
Serenity : Right... *grimaces
Sequoia Wisetree: You again wolf!
Bawbuthor : Nuli and I can handle the front
Serenity : But not too far behind
Sequoia Wisetree: STAY
Serenity : I have a really nice spell
Sequoia Wisetree: GO BACK WOLF
Serenity : I can't set fire to our enemies when I'm hiding behind you, but I understand
Sequoia Wisetree: You don't need to die today.
Sequoia Wisetree: * wash face *
Serenity : Where are the others?
Sequoia Wisetree: The water is clear Madam.
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Serenity : *places her finger in the water and makes ripples*

Sequoia Wisetree: You like crows?
Serenity : He's my pet.
Sequoia Wisetree: Crow often mean bad omen.
Serenity : I suppose I don't normally, but I like this one.
Serenity : I hope it doesn't make you uneasy.
Sequoia Wisetree: No
Serenity : He does play pranks sometimes.
Serenity : *shrugs*
Sequoia Wisetree: We lost our warriors?
Stanley the Stout: seem so
Sequoia Wisetree: Aaaah they come
Bawbuthor: *huffs*
Bawbuthor: got stuck in the crevice
Bawbuthor: Nuli pushed me through.

Sharen Frealand: *A raven haired woman approaches and looks at all of you a moment. She seems to examining you and frowns a bit* ...not here either then...
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah now we could have a girl fight. I put 20 on Serenity.
Stanley the Stout: *stares at newcomer*
Bawbuthor : *looks at Sequioa*
Bawbuthor : Ma'am?
Serenity : Wrong cavern?
Bawbuthor : Your looking for someone?
Serenity : *grins ironically*
Bawbuthor : In a cave behind a tree?
Sharen Frealand: I apologize. I heard there was a new adventuring group in the region and I thought...well it isn't that important.
Bawbuthor : *looks at the others* Must have heard it at the Inn.
Sequoia Wisetree: Anybody alive there?
Sharen Frealand: Please excuse my rudeness. I am Sharen. Pleased to meet you.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : *looks at the newcomer* I'm Bawbuthor.
Stanley the Stout: Stanely
Bawbuthor : *points at the dwarf* This is Nuli, he dont talk much.
Serenity : I'm a witch. *glances at Bawbuthor*
Sequoia Wisetree: ... That's a quality among warriors.
Bawbuthor : *grits his teeth*
Serenity : Oh. And my name's Serenity.
Sharen Frealand: *archs a curious brow at Serenity but quickly returns to her normal expression*...I see.
Serenity : For my... sweet temperament, yes.
Bawbuthor : I suppose you could join us, we are a group.
Serenity : This is true, obviously.
Bawbuthor : *looks to the others for confirmation*
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Whatever.
Serenity : At least until I leave them. *sticks tongue out at the group*
Sharen Frealand: In any case, I suppose for thoroughness I should ask. I am looking for a middle aged man about an inch or two taller than me with hair slightly lighter than mine.
Stanley the Stout: So, um we gonna tangle more with these cats and such, or look elsewhere?
Serenity : Or put their souls into my walking stick
Bawbuthor : There is a pack of black cats down the tunnel, there are also restless spirits.
Serenity : Yes.
Bawbuthor : *shakes his head*
Serenity : Are you a warrior?
Bawbuthor : What's his name?
Sharen Frealand: The man I seek has become an adventurer himself and it was my hope that I could find him.
Stanley the Stout: If he came here alone, he's probably cat food.
Serenity : Hmm... no, drawing a blank
Sharen Frealand: Well...I suppose you could call me that. Still, I prefer to think of myself as a tactician in training.
Sharen Frealand: There is more to wielding a sword than swinging it at a person.
Bawbuthor : *hmmph*
Sequoia Wisetree: This is the wilderness madam. You die quicly if you don't know how to survive.
Serenity : Hmm.. *frowns* in any case, I have some sensitve spells that should help us
Bawbuthor : Lets see about them cats than.
Serenity : But I need you... warrrior types to keep them off of me
Serenity : If you can.

Stanley the Stout: Want me to try luring one?
Sequoia Wisetree: That's the idea Stan.
Bawbuthor : *nods to Stanley* I think so.
Sharen Frealand: Since I am here anyway and you seem to need the help, I will assist as I can.
Stanley the Stout: alright
Sequoia Wisetree: We are the mice.
Stanley the Stout: *pads off*
Bawbuthor : That'll be great, Sharen.
Sequoia Wisetree: I run faster remember
Serenity : *Mite pecks at Sharens armor*
Serenity : Psh! What did I tell you about making such coments, Mite?
Bawbuthor : This is a good choke point.
Bawbuthor : here they come
Sharen Frealand: How many cats did you spot in this cave?
Bawbuthor : The scouts know better than I
Sharen Frealand: *blinks a bit in surprise*
Bawbuthor : See, spirits too.

Bawbuthor : Nuli, how you holdin' up?
Sequoia Wisetree: floating light
Sharen Frealand: *she shakes her head a little* I will live.
Sharen Frealand: *holds up a hand*
Stanley the Stout: 3 spirits up ahead
Sharen Frealand: *quietly* I see another up ahead
Sharen Frealand: Hm, that could be troubling.
Stanley the Stout: and some glowing lights floating in the underground trees off to the right.
Bawbuthor : Let's hope Nuli doesn't try and fight them all at once.
Stanley the Stout: we could either tackle the spirits, or try to sneak by them to the right.
Sequoia Wisetree: floating lights, three spirits and a chest.
Stanley the Stout: There are several paths over stepping stones across an underground lake to the right beyond the trees.
Sharen Frealand: What is your purpose in this caves, that should determine your course.
Bawbuthor : Spirits first, I suppose.
Bawbuthor : Unless the tactician has other ideas?
Stanley the Stout: Just looking for loot.
Sequoia Wisetree: I'm curious about that chest.
Stanley the Stout: right then I'll plug one of them.
Sharen Frealand: Serenity, do you have any spells that could hold a spirit?

Bawbuthor : Nuli
Stanley the Stout: gahhh
Bawbuthor : gah
Sequoia Wisetree: Oh chest here too.
Bawbuthor : filthy creature.
Stanley the Stout: careful bout leaving Nuli alone, we've no priest without us at the moment to heal him.
Sharen Frealand: ...that could have gone better...but at least we are all alive.
Bawbuthor : Nuli likes to hit stuff.
Sequoia Wisetree: Flail, potions, some gold ans scrolls.
Serenity : *pats the dwarf on the shoulder*
Bawbuthor : potions are good.
Stanley the Stout: warriors should take the healing potions.
Bawbuthor : thats a big flail
Serenity : Oo, can I see the scrolls??
Stanley the Stout: their clerical
Stanley the Stout: healing
Sharen Frealand: *Stands watch*
Bawbuthor : I'm good on potions, someone else take them
Stanley the Stout: warriors take the potions
Serenity : No, I suppose I can't use them
Sequoia Wisetree: Both?
Stanley the Stout: I'll carry them for the priest.
Sequoia Wisetree: Where did the axes come from?
Serenity : Alright.. suit yourself
Stanley the Stout: Ok then ready to move on?
Sequoia Wisetree: Who can throw these, Nuli may be?
Bawbuthor : I have a few more, they are getting heavy
Bawbuthor : The axes are from me, got too many of them
Sequoia Wisetree: I can carry some but not use them

Sharen Frealand: Do you hear something?
Serenity : I can hear you speaking. What is it?
Sequoia Wisetree: STAN!
Sequoia Wisetree: Don't you want to see the other chest?
Sharen Frealand: *looks at the Will-o-wisps cautiously*
Bawbuthor : those cant be good.
Stanley the Stout: some dead bugbears in the one chamber east of the lake.
Bawbuthor : ugh
Stanley the Stout: wow
Bawbuthor : Sharen, you fight well.
Sequoia Wisetree: Bracers? Gems, gold one potion
Bawbuthor : gems are nice
Stanley the Stout: quite a few potions and a couple of other stuff
Sequoia Wisetree: Something there too?
Sharen Frealand: *smirks a little* If you asked my father, he would say it was in our blood...
Stanley the Stout: I'll carry and sell the jewelry
Serenity : I could try to identify the braces. I'd give them back
Sequoia Wisetree: Both bracers are probably enchanted.
Bawbuthor : *stands back*
Stanley the Stout: well mage do your thing
Stanley the Stout: halberd's pretty nice looking as well.
Sequoia Wisetree: Who can use the halberd?
Serenity : OO
Stanley the Stout: worth some coin if'n' noone wants to use it.
Serenity : I liked the look of that bracer set
Serenity : Could I try it on?
Stanley the Stout: what are they?
Bawbuthor : I'm carrying quite a bit already, someone else carry the halberd.
Sharen Frealand: I could theoritically but I prefer my sword.
Serenity : Give them to me.
Bawbuthor : I could use it as well, instead of the flail
Serenity : A fine weapon
Serenity : An item of power.
Sequoia Wisetree: 150 gold coins to share and some shiny rocks
Serenity : These bracers, I'm not sure about
Serenity : Their impression in the fade is to strong for me.
Stanley the Stout: We can sort out the gold and such after we sell our loot.
Sharen Frealand: *glances at the bracers*
Stanley the Stout: Just keep track of how much you pick up.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's try later then.
Sharen Frealand: May I take a look at them for a moment?
Bawbuthor : anyone want to carry the flail, a good twenty lbs.
Stanley the Stout: what of the two sets you picked up from the chest?
Sharen Frealand: *She shakes her head* I have no true idea of their power either.
Sequoia Wisetree: I don't think we will find that many chests down here. We can always go back and sell.
Bawbuthor : Perhaps we can move on now.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah yes
Stanley the Stout: Still waiting to hear what those bracers the witch picked up were.
Sharen Frealand: *Still seems concerned about the wisps*
Serenity : They're of little use to any warrior or roguish types.
Sequoia Wisetree: What was that?
Bawbuthor : a strange coin.
Stanley the Stout: That doesn't answer the question
Serenity : They help me focus and give me better ability to identify items.
Sequoia Wisetree: * look at the fire pattern *
Stanley the Stout: there were two sets
Serenity : I didn't pick up both of them, Stanley dear.
Stanley the Stout: oh?
Bawbuthor : Are we crossing the stepping stones, or looking top side for bandits?
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan I carry the bracers
Serenity : I would be willing to take a look at the other set again.
Stanley the Stout: Show them to the witch
Stanley the Stout: no point in carrying stuff unidentified.
Sequoia Wisetree: Do whatever, eat them but let's go
Serenity : Ah! Yes
Sharen Frealand: *shakes her head*
Serenity : Fairly powerful item.
Sharen Frealand: You disserned their purpose, Serenity?
Stanley the Stout: looks like something else for the priest
Serenity : Right.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah here
Bawbuthor : Nuli is going to guard the chest
Stanley the Stout: why you leaving him back there?
Sequoia Wisetree: Now we need to pick, North or East?
Bawbuthor : He seems attached to it.
Stanley the Stout: east is a cavern with a pair of dead bugbears.
Bawbuthor : *shrugs*
Sharen Frealand: Any idea what may have slain them?
Sequoia Wisetree: Cant' be a challenge if they are dead.
Stanley the Stout: He might get picked off by a wandering monster you leave him back there alone.
Serenity : Best not find out
Sequoia Wisetree: * whistle *
Serenity : Would you give me a moment? I need to look at something.. *opens her speellbook*
Bawbuthor : Let's check on the dead bugbears, see what killed them at least.
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey come see this
Sharen Frealand: *she washes her blade of cat blood in the underground spring.* It will likely get dirty later but I still want to maintain my weapon.
Bawbuthor : He likes that area, we'll pick him up later, if needed.
Sequoia Wisetree: I found a room with statues.
Bawbuthor : *examines the bugbears
Stanley the Stout: locked door, which I unlocked
Sharen Frealand: Statues?
Stanley the Stout: where the others?
Bawbuthor : arrows in that door, the bugbears must have shot the door?
Stanley the Stout: maybe
Stanley the Stout: they have crossbows though
Sequoia Wisetree: It's opened
Stanley the Stout: um wait up there
Sequoia Wisetree: Come see the statues
Stanley the Stout: don't go opening doors when people aren't all here.
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Sequoia Wisetree: Where are you going?
Bawbuthor : long tunnel
Bawbuthor : heading up, I think.
Sequoia Wisetree: Well there is a treasure over there!
Sequoia Wisetree: All for me then?
Stanley the Stout: Fine, lets go check the other way

Sharen Frealand: Don't you think its strange for statues to be inside a cave?
Bawbuthor : *grins*
Serenity : After you.
Bawbuthor : Treasure usually gets Stan's attention*
Serenity : I see.
Sequoia Wisetree: Why do you think I mentioned treasure
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: I found potions in the fountain.
Bawbuthor : statues, but they .... they... are moving
Statue of Milmand Cent: A statue has been erected of Milmand Cent:
The Shadow Guild of Di Tinnu would never be the same without the genius of Master Cent. By organizing the Guild against Lord Awartha, he brought ruin to the Usurper.
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Statue of Vilmand Melve'tent: A statue has been erected of Vilamand Melve'tent:
A Bard of incredible resourcefulness and singing ability. Master Melve'tent single-handedly soothed the Beast and saved the undergournd city of Di Tinnu.
Statue of Gledia Wefner: A statue has been erected of Gledia Wefner:
A mighty and agile warrior of Di Tinnu. Lady Gledia defeated the army of Stho-thoth and re-built the Tower of the Sword.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ask me if you need healing potion.
Statue of Elvawen Ched: A statue has been erected of Elvawen Chedwetholie:
A devoted Cleric to the UnderDark, her Holiness Chedwetholie cured Di Tinnu of UnderDark of the Swallowing Plague.
Statue of Amendir Englen: A statue has been erected of Amentir Englen:
A Wizard of keen sensibility and power. The undergound city of Di Tinnu owes Elder Englen a debt of gratitude for dispelling the Brown Rot Curse.
Stanley the Stout: Some some Elf shrine
Serenity : Hmmm...*eyes the statue in front of her with great curiousity, taking in every detail*
Bawbuthor : I dont know any of these people, they look a bit like elves to me.
Sequoia Wisetree: This is a kind of sanctuary it seems.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sharen Frealand: ...I still can't help wonder who would build such a place down here.
Serenity : Elves, perhaps
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey I think I did see people they look like these statues.... ?
Sharen Frealand: No, I mean...it seems so out of the way.
Serenity : It does feel ancient

Stanley the Stout: *w* looks like ghosts of those statues.
Sequoia Wisetree: HOLD
Serenity : Perhaps many lived in these caverns
Stanley the Stout: not sure we wanna mess with them.
Serenity : at some time
Bawbuthor : Wasn't one of them a powerful wizard?
Sequoia Wisetree: Back here
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's hold this door
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan?
Sequoia Wisetree: Do you have a spell to hit them all at once?
Stanley the Stout: there's some sorta large gate in a large cavern over the lake.
Bawbuthor : *looks at Serenity*
Sharen Frealand: *Thinks about what she saw through the fog* If...that's the real elf...from the statue in the previous room, he could have lived here in isolation or it could be the spirit...
Serenity : Err, not really
Sequoia Wisetree: So we try to lure one at a time?
Serenity : Not that powerful yet
Stanley the Stout: I think we best leave sleeping elves lie.
Sequoia Wisetree: there are not sleeping at all
Bawbuthor : sneak past to the gate then?
Sequoia Wisetree: See for yourself
Stanley the Stout: Sneak past to the gate, or time to leave.
Stanley the Stout: I don't think we should tangle with the elves.
Serenity : Are they undead?
Serenity : Or living elves?
Stanley the Stout: dunno, don't care
Sequoia Wisetree: Five standing
Sequoia Wisetree: Undead may be
Serenity : I could try a sleep spell
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah try that
Serenity : But it would only irritate them if they're undead
Sequoia Wisetree: and run
Bawbuthor : I dont know of any elves that would willingly stay in a cave, especially with a forest near by.
Stanley the Stout: Elves are immune aren't they?
Serenity : which room?
Serenity : Oh, of course.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah yes all elves
Serenity : That won't work.
Stanley the Stout: well the statues said they had an underground city
Serenity : I admit I don't have much experience with elves
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan go shoot something then
Stanley the Stout: already gave my view on THAT option.
Bawbuthor : Stan, show us the way to the gate.
Sharen Frealand: This might be more than we can handle.
Serenity : I agree
Stanley the Stout: Fine stay to the right.
Bawbuthor : I trust your opinion, lets leave the elves.
Sequoia Wisetree: Get the wizard or bard first

Stanley the Stout: there
Stanley the Stout: *points*
Bawbuthor : old mining tunnel, it looks like to me.
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit * You have no courage then
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Sealed Rune-inscribed Vault Door: *A huge and solidly built Vault door is sealed with no sign of a key-hole or opening mechanism.*
Bawbuthor : Thats a big door.
Serenity : A vault?
Stanley the Stout: well settles that option I guess
Bawbuthor : Can't open it, Stan?
Serenity : Did you try to open it?
Stanley the Stout: Nope
Stanley the Stout: Can't
Sequoia Wisetree: who got that strange coin?
Bawbuthor : Great, maybe the elves have the key, was there a keyhole?
Bawbuthor : I do.
Sequoia Wisetree: Try then
Stanley the Stout: didn't see one
Stanley the Stout: knock yourself out
Sequoia Wisetree: the key must be a strange object like that coin.
Bawbuthor : *waves the coin around the door*
Stanley the Stout: *steps back*
Sequoia Wisetree: A seal perhaps
Bawbuthor : nothing
Stanley the Stout: guess we head back and out then.
Bawbuthor : Or ask the elves for a key.
Bawbuthor : *grins*
Stanley the Stout: they didn't look too friendly
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Stanley the Stout: So you wanna go the way we came, or out this other exit?
Bawbuthor : we could check the bugbear tunnel.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*

Sequoia Wisetree: It's a mine
Bawbuthor : *searches for tracks*
Sequoia Wisetree: A bugbear mine may be.
Sequoia Wisetree: Get ready to retreat.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: *w* bugbears
Sequoia Wisetree: Bugbears all over the place.
Bawbuthor : *listens*
Sequoia Wisetree: We are outnumbered.
Serenity : This place smells pretty foul.
Bawbuthor : I see bugbears.
Sequoia Wisetree: Twnety may be more.
Bawbuthor : Thats a lot.
Stanley the Stout: I count at least 9.
Serenity : Only nine?
Sharen Frealand: Is it possible to lure any without alerting the horde?
Serenity : At least nine.
Serenity : Well, my sleep spell should work on them
Sequoia Wisetree: May be may be not
Serenity : To some degree
Stanley the Stout: five are gathered round a campfire on the left.
Serenity : But I would only be able to cast it once
Stanley the Stout: and four or more are wandering about in the cavern to the right.
Sequoia Wisetree: May be fewer in the North chmber
Bawbuthor : Wonder what they are digging up.
Sequoia Wisetree: Rocks, gems, gold you name it.
Stanley the Stout: Think we best avoid these for now.
Bawbuthor : if we hold the tunnel, I think we can take them.
Sharen Frealand: So we have three groups to contend with.
Stanley the Stout: we don't have a cleric to help patch us up.
Sequoia Wisetree: I agree with Stan.
Sharen Frealand: Clerical help would be nice in this situation.
Serenity : We have potions and bandages
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's go kill a boar and find some ale to drink.
Serenity : But
Serenity : I agree
Bawbuthor : Okay, guess we go back out the way we came in.

Stanley the Stout: hmm our missing dwarf
Sequoia Wisetree: Still have a headhache Nuli?
Bawbuthor : This way, ladies.
Sharen Frealand: I'll go last
Stanley the Stout: *blinks and looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: After you ladies.
Sequoia Wisetree: Go
Stanley the Stout: *sits and waits*
Sharen Frealand: Alright
Sequoia Wisetree: the wolf is still here.
Stanley the Stout: So,
Sharen Frealand: *lets out a sigh as she walks*
Stanley the Stout: What now?
Bawbuthor : There are still bandits around here somewhere.
Sequoia Wisetree: go get some food
Stanley the Stout: We should go rest up in the inn.
Bawbuthor : Okay, Stan.
Sequoia Wisetree: So you are following me wolf
Sequoia Wisetree: Hm
Bawbuthor : *tracking*

Stanley the Stout: *sacks out on a bed*
Bawbuthor : *relaxes*
Sequoia Wisetree: YOU STILL HERE!
Stanley the Stout: *yawns*
Stanley the Stout: *hops up on chair*
Sharen Frealand: *she pulls out a book and begins to write*
Stanley the Stout: So... we go back south to the hamlet where we can resupply and sell our loot?
Sequoia Wisetree: Want your gold now or later?
Stanley the Stout: Let's wait till we sell stuff and have a place to spend it.
Sequoia Wisetree: Fine 30 coins each so far.
Stanley the Stout: *glances around at the others*
Serenity : Not much anyway...
Sharen Frealand: *she pauses from her work and comments* ...you asked who I was looking for Stanley, his name is Matthew Frealand.
Stanley the Stout: I didn't ask, or care.
Sequoia Wisetree: Did anybody mention anything other than the spider cave?
Stanley the Stout: Just the bandits.
Sequoia Wisetree: Where?
Stanley the Stout: The ones that raided this place.
Stanley the Stout: Not sure where they're holed up though.
Sequoia Wisetree: We could track them.
Stanley the Stout: maybe
Bawbuthor : I asked, is it a relative of yours, Share'n?
Sharen Frealand: *She seems indifferent to the response and resumes writing* ...if you wish aid in the bandit issue...I suppose I could assist. *pauses and looks at Bawbuthor* Hm, good guess. He is my father actually.
Bawbuthor : If everyone rested, I suppose we could head back to the hamlet. I know I'd like to sell some stuff.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: That far? Perhaps we only need to see the dwarf on the road.
Bawbuthor : That would work as well. I had forgotten, Sequioa.
Stanley the Stout: Not sure if he paid the best prices though.
Sequoia Wisetree: Right and who is good at such thing?
Sequoia Wisetree: I mean barter and all that.
Stanley the Stout: Got an eye for such.
Bawbuthor : Share'n, your dad is out here somewheres?
Bawbuthor : Why is a wolf in here?
Sequoia Wisetree: If you know your way with merchant best you you sell the stones.
Stanley the Stout: Right then
Stanley the Stout: *pockets gems*
Bawbuthor : *stretches*

Stanley the Stout: Shall we?
Sequoia Wisetree: WOLF you STAY here
Bawbuthor : Your welcome to come with, Share'n.
Sharen Frealand: Unfortunately, I may be looking at a goose chase. I know his goal and not his direction. He will likely flock towards trouble which is why I guessed about your party.
Sequoia Wisetree: Stupid wolf
Bawbuthor : We'll keep an eye out, either way.
Serenity : A missing parent? A shame.
Serenity : I never had any parents.
Serenity : Had to look out for myself...
Stanley the Stout: *glances back*
Serenity : Are they worth the trouble, Sharen?
Sequoia Wisetree: Parents?
Serenity : I hear they like to meddle a lot.
Sequoia Wisetree: Wizard Magic
Serenity : It sounds like those roles can reverse, though...
Sharen Frealand: I suppose it depends on the person. Although most children tend to agree on that mark. They meddle so that their children can avoid pitfalls they experienced
Bawbuthor : *walks to the mill, quickly*
Serenity : well, there must be another motive.
Serenity : There always is.
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Stanley the Stout: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Sequoia Wisetree: I had parents once...
Bawbuthor : *looks for Stan's tracks*
Bawbuthor : I think he went east here.
Bawbuthor : Did he offer you a good price?
Serenity : Another cave?
Stanley the Stout: His prices seem a bit low, not sure how they compare to the trader on the road in the hamlet south of here.
Sequoia Wisetree: We can try that.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Stanley the Stout: get the most is always better.

Serenity : Did you ever run away, Sharen?
Serenity : When you were a child
Sharen Frealand: *shakes her head* No, I guess it was because I loved my father too much for that
Bawbuthor : *listens to the two ladies talk8
Stanley the Stout: *frowns*
Serenity : *grimaces* Then why did he run away?
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Stanley the Stout: merchant seems to have moved on.
Sequoia Wisetree: He's probably asleep.
Sharen Frealand: *sighs* its...complicated. I has to do with the family heritage...mother, my father and myself had different opinions on that.
Serenity : Oo, intrigue.
Sharen Frealand: So should we camp out till morning?
Sharen Frealand: Or is there an inn in this hamlet?
Serenity : Why not?
Bawbuthor : I suppose, would really like to sell either this old chipped long sword, or the halberd.
Sharen Frealand: *looks around* where did Stanley and our wolf tamer go?
Serenity : Back up the road I suppose
Bawbuthor : *shrugs, looking for tracks*
Bawbuthor : I think they went back towards the Mill.
Sharen Frealand: *grins a little at Sequoia and the wolf*

Bawbuthor : Did you find a merchant?
Stanley the Stout: sell what you have to the dwarf and we can split the gold then.
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Sequoia Wisetree: We could go kill some lizards.
Bawbuthor: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Bawbuthor : he only will give 146 gold for the halberd.
Serenity : Yes... alright... there isn't more? *pouts*
Serenity : *sighs* very well...
Sharen Frealand: I thank you for including me in your distribution.
Serenity : Oh, that should help...
Stanley the Stout: well unless you wanna use the halberd
Stanley the Stout: sell it
Stanley the Stout: no point lugging a heavy weapon
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Sharen Frealand: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Bawbuthor : I'll keep the halberd, it looks effective
Bawbuthor : I have some gold to split with everyone still, about 80 gold each, not counting Sharen

Nori Longbeard: Vifur and I share an ale and ye think I can't walk?
Bawbuthor : Not like the Rat belt, at all.
Nori Longbeard: oh! Those do look nice!
Bawbuthor : *chuckles*
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey we got two wolves now?
Bawbuthor : Oh, I have a few things for you as well.
Nori Longbeard: Thunder clappers eh? You folks got yer ear muffs?
Bawbuthor : For what the dwarf here was going to pay me, I'd rather give them to you.
Nori Longbeard: Ah, thanks for those scrolls -- come iin handy they might.
Sequoia Wisetree: Do I hear bells?
Bawbuthor : I hear water.
Stanley the Stout: So, um, we all squared away?
Sequoia Wisetree: What now?
Bawbuthor : *counts the gold*
Nori Longbeard: Aye, me head cleared and all.
Bawbuthor : I got about a hundred for each of us.
Stanley the Stout: Nice
Sequoia Wisetree: Bells I tell you and water too.
Nori Longbeard: I don't hear nothing -- or rather nothing is what I'm hearing.
Sequoia Wisetree: Thank you
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Nori Longbeard: Heck of a weapon there Bawbuthor!
Stanley the Stout: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Bawbuthor : Here is your portion, Serenity
Nori Longbeard: THis my share? Are you sure? was thinking my cut was 25 coins.
Serenity: Hmm?
Bawbuthor : So, I'm all set.
Serenity: That'll do. *smiles*
Nori Longbeard: Well, I was clearing my head whilst you folks were riskin' your life for a few coins and glory.
Nori Longbeard: Let me get some kits first.
Stanley the Stout: So, what next?
Bawbuthor : the bugbears are too much. Perhaps we should look for them bandits.
Sequoia Wisetree: Plenty of things to kill around here and in the forest.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Stanley the Stout: We could clear the bandits in this area.
Serenity: Does he mean that he was getting drunk, when he says, 'clearing his head'? *chuckles under her breath*
Sequoia Wisetree: That could things safer for the settlers.
Sequoia Wisetree: * make
Nori Longbeard: Aye, ale clears ones head of all that clutter lass.
Bawbuthor : We could look for that ladies sisters house.
Stanley the Stout: who's house?
Sequoia Wisetree: What lady?
Bawbuthor : The lady from the Mill.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : Nevermind.
Sequoia Wisetree: We found them both at the inn before the attack, remember?
Serenity: *winks at Nori in response to his comment*
Nori Longbeard: Aye -- the lass was going to meet up with you somewhere wasn't she?
Stanley the Stout: Could also try hunting down that outlaw band that attacked the inn.
Bawbuthor : Yeah, the outlaws is what I think we should do.
Sequoia Wisetree: We did spot some bandits here. Not sure of they are the same lot.
Bawbuthor : Help them people out that got slaughtered at the Inn.
Serenity: I'm sure the outlaws have plenty of ill-gotten gain.
Stanley the Stout: Suggest we hunt down the bandits in this area first.
Sequoia Wisetree: I lkie my bandits dead cold.
Serenity: That would probably be most profitable.
Nori Longbeard: Right.
Bawbuthor : Which way?
Nori Longbeard: Coin is good.
Sequoia Wisetree: Bandits? Somewhere North West of that mill...
Stanley the Stout: Guess we could do a search working our way north from here then circling around.
Nori Longbeard: Scouts first?
Bawbuthor : *looks down on everyone*
Sequoia Wisetree: Scout? We know where they are.
Nori Longbeard: oh!
Nori Longbeard: The what we be waiting fer?
Stanley the Stout: We know where some are.
Sequoia Wisetree: This way

Bawbuthor : See something?
Nori Longbeard: Nuli going to clear his head?
Sequoia Wisetree: Up there in the "hole"
Sequoia Wisetree: * whistle *
Bawbuthor : I dont see stan
Sequoia Wisetree: * point to North East *
Bawbuthor : Oh, there you are.
Stanley the Stout: some to the NW of here
Nori Longbeard: heh -- I usually don't even when he is right in front of me.
Bawbuthor : Can you lure them to us? How many?
Sequoia Wisetree: Six?
Stanley the Stout: Saw one at a distance can try getting him.
Nori Longbeard: Six bandits?
Bawbuthor : Okay, get ready
Stanley the Stout: well that worked too
Sequoia Wisetree: Another group?
Nori Longbeard: You have some good eyes.
Bawbuthor : six?
Stanley the Stout: some hag above
Sequoia Wisetree: That's no bandit
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: 3 more witches
Nori Longbeard: Heh -- a dwur hates to miss a good fight.
Sequoia Wisetree: Here check this
Bawbuthor : picked up some stuff
Sequoia Wisetree: Magic trinkets
Bawbuthor : Looks magical, i cant tell
Sequoia Wisetree: * point to altar * Take them
Sequoia Wisetree: Bandits are East of here... No?
Stanley the Stout: probably

Stanley the Stout: *holds up four fingers*
Bawbuthor : *crouches down*
Sequoia Wisetree: One down!
Nori Longbeard: Not too bright are they?
Sequoia Wisetree: They must be drunk!
Nori Longbeard: Shooting fish in a barrel
Bawbuthor : armor?
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit *
Sequoia Wisetree: I took some shiny things from the witches. We better sell them.
Stanley the Stout: mage you take a look at the club?
Stanley the Stout: anyone wanna use that club?
Bawbuthor : someone should.
Stanley the Stout: one of you loot carriers should take the bag.
Bawbuthor : I can do that.
Stanley the Stout: Not big enough to carry much myself.
Stanley the Stout: If no one wants the club, we can sell it.
Stanley the Stout: As I remember, there were lizardfolk in the area due east of here.
Bawbuthor : I'm full, someone else needso to carry
Sequoia Wisetree: Lizards... yes.
Stanley the Stout: We ready to move east?
Sequoia Wisetree: But dont' expect them to be drunk.
Sequoia Wisetree: Run to the mill we can always regroup there.
Bawbuthor : *nods*

Sequoia Wisetree: Look! How strange!
Sequoia Wisetree: * Touch the rock formation *
Bawbuthor : scimater
Nori Longbeard: These rocks are ... strange -- like they are growing?
Sequoia Wisetree: But they feel like rock.
Sequoia Wisetree: Witchcraft may be.
Stanley the Stout: cave over here
Sequoia Wisetree: Amazing rocks.
Stanley the Stout: probably their lair
Nori Longbeard: Good guess I reckin'
Stanley the Stout: clear
Mite: Yes, mistress... what do you require of me?
Sequoia Wisetree: Throwing axes
Sequoia Wisetree: The dwarves should like that.
Nori Longbeard: Nuli perhaps -- I prefer a hammer.

Bawbuthor : Nobody in here?
Sequoia Wisetree: Key?
Stanley the Stout: hmm some strange fish in the jar, maybe mage can use them?
Sequoia Wisetree: Fish and one scroll here
Sequoia Wisetree: Key?
Stanley the Stout: more magic fish
Nori Longbeard: aye -- no sense waitin fer ye to die.
Stanley the Stout: mage scroll and magic fish
Sequoia Wisetree: We need fish or not?
Sequoia Wisetree: Need my help?
Stanley the Stout: hmm have to smash this one open
Nori Longbeard: wow.
Sequoia Wisetree: Fish
Nori Longbeard: They locked up fish?
Sequoia Wisetree: How can I know how lizrds think?
Stanley the Stout: *holds up four fingers*
Nori Longbeard: *nods*
Stanley the Stout: *five fingers*
Sequoia Wisetree: Many over there.
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Stanley the Stout: back around the corner
Sequoia Wisetree: And many plants here.
Stanley the Stout: I'll see about luring one to you there
Nori Longbeard: Bring them here?
Stanley the Stout: form up over here
Bawbuthor : behind nuli
Stanley the Stout: right
Stanley the Stout: stupid pets
Nori Longbeard: That be three of 'em.
Stanley the Stout: go back
Sequoia Wisetree: Two morwe
Stanley the Stout: and form up there
Bawbuthor : bolts
Sequoia Wisetree: CLEAR
Nori Longbeard: That all of 'em? Good
Bawbuthor : and spells
Sequoia Wisetree: Scroll here
Sequoia Wisetree: Look at this
Sequoia Wisetree: And these are the trinkets
Bawbuthor : I think I can use the bracers
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: pick them up for sale later
Sequoia Wisetree: This way then
Sequoia Wisetree: So many plants
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: *sighs*
Nuli Scher: Outstanding!
Bawbuthor : lots here
Stanley the Stout: how about you let scouts do there job and not walk on our heels?
Bawbuthor : I got lost in the trees
Stanley the Stout: Thats why you give scouts a good cushion.
Sequoia Wisetree: Keys here Stan
Bawbuthor : I still can barely see ya.
Sequoia Wisetree: Gift? What gift?
Bawbuthor : *peers through the jungle*
Sequoia Wisetree: Do they take elven gift?
Nori Longbeard: ok -- I'll just let you bring 'em back to me -- but don't get yerself killed.
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan can you get that door?
Stanley the Stout: I'll look
Nori Longbeard: You hollar if'n ya need me.
Bawbuthor : *tries to shoot the shield*
Stanley the Stout: It'll need to be smashed open
Stanley the Stout: So um ready to smash the door open?
Bawbuthor : Look a shield
Sequoia Wisetree: Well done
Nori Longbeard: Anyone want these thunder clap bracers -- I really don't think I'll ever use them.
Sequoia Wisetree: May be the shield opens the door
Bawbuthor : I suppose.
Bawbuthor : Click
Serenity: I walked under the light
Stanley the Stout: some tough lizards
Sequoia Wisetree: Get'em
Nori Longbeard: you going to bring them over here?
Sequoia Wisetree: Where?
Bawbuthor : lots of stuff on the alter
Fallen Red Forgotten Guardian: *A foul mist rises from where the body lies. You wonder if it has anything to do with all the activity around here...*
Stanley the Stout: magical throwing axs
Bawbuthor : armor
Sequoia Wisetree: I could wear these
Stanley the Stout: someone may want those
Sequoia Wisetree: But
Sequoia Wisetree: Can you cope with your small shield and leather armor?
Sequoia Wisetree: Or do you want the bracers?
Bawbuthor : i found some scale armor
Stanley the Stout: so, onward?
Sequoia Wisetree: Take a look
Bawbuthor : no thanks, I have magic armor
Sequoia Wisetree: May be I should wear at least one magical trinket.
Sequoia Wisetree: In that case I'll keep these bracers.
Sequoia Wisetree: Nuli is still upset or what?
Bawbuthor : I'm carrying a lot, lets go to the dwarf or town
Stanley the Stout: Alright we can head due south of here and see whats there on the way.
Sequoia Wisetree: Dwarf is the only option we have.
Sequoia Wisetree: We have have killed everything alive around here.
Sequoia Wisetree: Or nearly everything.
Sequoia Wisetree: Is this the road to Nowhere?

Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Stanley the Stout: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Sequoia Wisetree: Serenity if you have scroll you don't like.... Let me have them
Bawbuthor : perhaps someone else will get a better price from him than I
Nori Longbeard: Who be our barterer?
Sequoia Wisetree: Serenity?
Nori Longbeard: Thanks Stanley.
Serenity : Yes?
Sequoia Wisetree: Any extra arcane scroll you may have
Sequoia Wisetree: I just want to study my ancestors art.
Stanley the Stout: keep the potion of lore
Stanley the Stout: sell and split the rest
Sequoia Wisetree: So many?
Bawbuthor : take it then, the fish may be useful as well
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks I will need quite some time to study all that.
Sequoia Wisetree: Oh I like that robe thing
Bawbuthor : I have a plot suit of armor, 30lbs
Bawbuthor : lore bracers
Stanley the Stout: Sell what you can, dump what you can't.
Stanley the Stout: If someone wants something, don't sell it.

Stanley the Stout: So we still have the southwestern part of the region
Stanley the Stout: yes, but why would you want to?
Bawbuthor : I have gold to hand out, let me figure it out.
Bawbuthor : 650 by four?
Sequoia Wisetree: I still have gold if you need more healing supplies.
Sequoia Wisetree: What we do with the red armor?
Bawbuthor : Okay, I can walk again.
Nori Longbeard: Thanks Bawbuthor.
Bawbuthor : it's your share.
Sequoia Wisetree: Think I'm going to wear that?
Bawbuthor : I'm not, I got the mole armor
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs* if no one want it and the dwarf won't buy it, then just leave it.
Sequoia Wisetree: This must be heavy.
Sequoia Wisetree: No way.
Bawbuthor : I could use some rest before too much longer, lets check the rest of the area.
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah the witch cursed me.
Nori Longbeard: We up for more?
Sequoia Wisetree: Or something
Bawbuthor : Me too.
Nori Longbeard: oh? I can't do anything about that I'm afraid.
Stanley the Stout: Well, we need to use supplies unless we go to the inn.
Sequoia Wisetree: May be a good night rest
Bawbuthor : I have one supply kit.
Stanley the Stout: The inn we can rest in their beds and save supplies.
Nori Longbeard: let me get some healing -- I'm all out.
Stanley the Stout: Not sure where we can buy supplies though.
Bawbuthor : lets look around some more.
Bawbuthor : Maybe in town
Stanley the Stout: The dwarf doesn't seem to sell them.
Stanley the Stout: Still haven't looked around the southwestern section of this area.
Nori Longbeard: oh! I have one I'll be glad to give up -- too darn heavy,
Sequoia Wisetree: We are on a rather large hunting ground.
Stanley the Stout: anyone able to carry that?
Bawbuthor : we should use it then
Bawbuthor : I dont feel like carrying two of them around
Stanley the Stout: don't use supplies unless we've no option.
Sequoia Wisetree: The cats are hunting us.
Nori Longbeard: Just leave it here for later? I can pack it -- but don't really want to.
Sequoia Wisetree: South you said?
Stanley the Stout: whoever took the magic bag should carry the supplies.
Bawbuthor : I have the bag
Stanley the Stout: then you carry the supplies in that.
Stanley the Stout: southwest then
Nori Longbeard: heh -- would take a pretty good bag to make it worth the trouble. We can just use the Inn.

Sequoia Wisetree: What's that light?
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: More witches?
Nori Longbeard: *waits for scouts*
Well of Healing: *Energy flows out of the Well!*
Stanley the Stout: more priests above
Sequoia Wisetree: Beetles with a treasure?
Sequoia Wisetree: A curvy blade
Nori Longbeard: Shinies perhaps.
Bawbuthor : cutlists
Stanley the Stout: five
Nori Longbeard: You going to bring them down here?
Stanley the Stout: yeah back up a little
Sequoia Wisetree: See?
Nori Longbeard: I don't thnk so ... heh.
Sequoia Wisetree: Who likes this blade?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs* not my style
Bawbuthor : never seen one like that before
Sequoia Wisetree: Me nrither
Sequoia Wisetree: Keep it for later then
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : for sure
Sequoia Wisetree: Must be worth something
Sequoia Wisetree: Too heavy for me
Sequoia Wisetree: You keep it
Stanley the Stout: nice ell
Stanley the Stout: well
Nori Longbeard: ok I'll pack the blade.
Sequoia Wisetree: The light is coming from this well.
Nori Longbeard: What is this?
Sequoia Wisetree: A well or something
Sequoia Wisetree: Feels good
Nori Longbeard: Not an ordinary well for sure.
Nori Longbeard: Invigorating.
Nori Longbeard: Need to remember this place.
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan?
Stanley the Stout: What?
Sequoia Wisetree: Anything down here?
Stanley the Stout: nope
Sequoia Wisetree: Wait
Sequoia Wisetree: Something
Sequoia Wisetree: told you there was a sign

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: Two
Sequoia Wisetree: Soon to be dead
Nori Longbeard: Fools
Nori Longbeard: Run BEHIIND the armor lads ..
Bawbuthor : potion and a magic dagger, I think

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: big spider
Bawbuthor : ready
Sequoia Wisetree: Nasty!
Bawbuthor : lots of stuff
Nori Longbeard: That was rather nasty.
Bawbuthor : magic armor and shield, and mace

Flower Patch: The flowers are beautiful.
Stanley the Stout: Walk away.
Sequoia Wisetree: Interesting
Old Ruin: You approach the weathered stones. What do you want to do?
Sequoia Wisetree: Come and see
Stanley the Stout: Look for signs of recent activity.
Old Ruin: You see no signs of foot prints, wagon tracks, or discarded refuse. However, the garden is well-kept and the stones of the ruin are clean of vegetation.
Stanley the Stout: Ok.
Stanley the Stout: Search the ruins for clues concerning its purpose.
Old Ruin: As you look at the worn symbols carved into the rock, you come to realize that one of the symbols is obviously related to the ancient realm of Arnor - a pattern of seven interlocking rings.
Old Ruin: It is quite prominently displayed. Unfortunately, too much is destroyed to appreciate what this site may have once been.
Old Ruin: Wait... there's a protrusion on the dais that is perceptibly worn more than the rest. It is shiny and polished for some reason.
Stanley the Stout: Examine it closely.
Old Ruin: It is a smooth oval-shaped stone projection from the surface of the dais. There is no perceptible seam between the projection and the surrounding surface. It looks like frequent manipulation has polished the surface.
Stanley the Stout: Hold your hand on the protrusion.
Old Ruin: You feel a slight warmth.
Stanley the Stout: Remove your hand.
Stanley the Stout: Push it.
Old Ruin: You leave two skid-marks in the grass.
Stanley the Stout: Pull at it.
Old Ruin: You would move the whole ruin before budging the protrusion.
Stanley the Stout: Walk away.
Sequoia Wisetree: * wait and observe Stan *
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : maybe we should put some flowers on the altar
Stanley the Stout: some old ruins
Stanley the Stout: be my guest
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Bawbuthor: Hold your hand on the protrusion.

An old statue: Cormamin lindua ele lle firiath! (My heart sings to see thee, mortals)
Bawbuthor: continue.
An old statue: I tend the resting place of my beloved husband Edledhron. He - who was once Arnorian - awaits the redemption of his defeat at the hands of the forces of Angband...*You feel a pause in the air, as if a question was left hanging*
Bawbuthor: *Nod in acceptance.*
An old statue: I can tell you only a little... The Arnorian settlement of Druadan stood on the grassy highlands on the eastern edge of Emyn Uial.
An old statue: Before his return, Druadan was destroyed and the remaining people fled to the Temple of Annuminas. It was there that Edledhron overtook the Orcs, but not before the last of the people of Druadan fell.
An old statue: Edledhron and those that would follow him waged war and struck again and again at the orcs. They held this area against them for longer than any expectation...
An old statue: But in the end, all was lost and the fate of Arnor could not be turned... and neither could the doom of some of its people.
An old statue: The Temple of Annuminas stood in the western forests of elder Manadh. Once a holy site, it continues to radiate a faint energy... Aa'menealle nauva calen ar'malta. (May your ways be green and golden).
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Bawbuthor : Guess she wants us to find the old temple.
Stanley the Stout: Which is where?
Sequoia Wisetree: Fine
Bawbuthor : up by the Inn.
Sequoia Wisetree: We sure made this all area alot safer... At least for some time.
Stanley the Stout: Let's finish searching this area then we can head up there.
Bawbuthor : *nods* I'm heading for the mill.
Sequoia Wisetree: Odd
Sequoia Wisetree: Fire and water
Bawbuthor : I have quite a few things to look at, Stan, when you get a chance
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey Nuli
Sequoia Wisetree: Nori can you speak to him.

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: HELLO THERE
Stanley the Stout: some mercenaries
Sequoia Wisetree: Not friendly
Stanley the Stout: why are you yelling at strangers?
Bawbuthor : just had an axe
Sequoia Wisetree: Why? Do they all have to try to kill us?
Bawbuthor : was he alone?
Sequoia Wisetree: No a few more down there.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs* most out here are not friendly
Sequoia Wisetree: Well the girl at the mill and the dwarf merchant are
Sequoia Wisetree: or were whatever
Sequoia Wisetree: Reinforcements
Sequoia Wisetree: A ball of fire!
Nori Longbeard: ouch.

Stanley the Stout: you had some stuff for me to examine?
Stanley the Stout: anything else?
Bawbuthor : nope
Stanley the Stout: where'd those bracers go ?
Stanley the Stout: If I'm gonna examine, I should keep them
Sequoia Wisetree: Did not grab a thing
Bawbuthor : I agree
Nori Longbeard: Nor I -- I let you folks do the packing .. heh.
Stanley the Stout: *sorts thru stuff*
Stanley the Stout: there ya go
Sequoia Wisetree: May be I could use that knife as an alternative to my arrows and fist.
Stanley the Stout: fine by me
Bawbuthor : okay
Sequoia Wisetree: Nothing else I can use.
Stanley the Stout: don't really need any of that stuff, though I suppose I could use the mace in a pinch.
Bawbuthor : you want the shield, Nori?
Nori Longbeard: Naw, I got a shield.
Bawbuthor : You want the mace?
Sequoia Wisetree: I still cary these for you
Stanley the Stout: I'll take the mace, if no one else is gonna use it at all.
Nori Longbeard: I have that damn sword -- doh!
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Sequoia Wisetree: Can't handle it
Nori Longbeard: That's why I don't like pacin' things I don't use.
Bawbuthor : I could take the shield, but cant use it's extra abilities.
Stanley the Stout: fine lets go sell the stuff we can't use or don't want.
Nori Longbeard: I'm going to stop by the Inn and rest a bit.
Sequoia Wisetree: If I feel too hot I couls stab myself with this knife.
Stanley the Stout: We'll do that afterward
Nori Longbeard: You think it is safe?
Bawbuthor : the inn is quite a ways away
Nori Longbeard: oh not this one here?
Stanley the Stout: which is why we should dump our loot first.
Nori Longbeard: ah -- I'm thinking the Mill My mistake.
Stanley the Stout: Let's go
Nori Longbeard: aye.

Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Stanley the Stout: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Stanley the Stout: Sell and split
Nori Longbeard: I need to camp.
Bawbuthor : I got 135 each in gold
Nori Longbeard: thanks.
Bawbuthor : I can use some rest at the Inn, for sure.

Sequoia Wisetree: We should retreat to the inn
Nori Longbeard: I could certainly use a rest.
Vifur, Dwarf Hermit: You here to sell me supplies? Well get on with it. I'll take what you've got for me.
Bawbuthor: Ok, I'll unload my inventory on you, Sir.
Bawbuthor : yep, 51 gp for me,
Bawbuthor : and heal kits, excellent selection.
Stanley the Stout: Can't carry anymore supplies myself
Bawbuthor : Me either, I'm still feeling bad from that last battle.
Sequoia Wisetree: Why is that?
Bawbuthor : Everything feels heavier, like I'm being dragged down by my packstraps.
Sequoia Wisetree: I feel a bit of that too.
Stanley the Stout: *sorts thru pack*
Bawbuthor : Although, that sack of gold feels okay. *grins*
Bawbuthor : Let's retire to the Inn.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: That way?
Sequoia Wisetree: West.

Sequoia Wisetree: Did you see that?
Bawbuthor : what?
Sequoia Wisetree: A couple of ugly creatures.
Stanley the Stout: *flops onto a bed*
Sequoia Wisetree: I still feel weak
Nori Longbeard: hmm -- can't rest here it seems.
Bawbuthor : Try one of the beds, Nori
Sequoia Wisetree: Someone left in a hurry?
Bawbuthor : wait
Bawbuthor : can you help bring back our strength
Stanley the Stout: *kicks back on the couch with a bottle of ale*
Bawbuthor : I too feel cursed.
Sequoia Wisetree: Same here.
Nori Longbeard: eh? Who needs fixin'?
Bawbuthor : *raises hand*
Stanley the Stout: I'm fine *shrugs*
Sequoia Wisetree: Us I guess
Bawbuthor : *meditates*
Bawbuthor : *worship*
Sequoia Wisetree: * wait *
Nori Longbeard: two of you? uhm .. just a moment.
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure.
Stanley the Stout: *belches*
Bawbuthor : *lounges around, enjoying the civilization*
Nori Longbeard: how is that?
Bawbuthor : I feel much better, thanks Nori.
Nori Longbeard: Stanley you sure you're ok?
Sequoia Wisetree: I did see two creatures... Trolls may be... Not sure.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: No problems.
Stanley the Stout: Trolls?
Bawbuthor : In the swamp?
Sequoia Wisetree: Well never seen a troll so I can't tell.
Bawbuthor : Off to our right when we came just now?
Stanley the Stout: Where'd you see those?
Stanley the Stout: In the forest?
Sequoia Wisetree: Tall things walking on two legs. Green or grey.
Nori Longbeard: Let me recharge while I have the chance.
Sequoia Wisetree: No, on the way here not far from the dwarf cave.
Bawbuthor : on the right, or left?
Stanley the Stout: Hmmm
Sequoia Wisetree: right left of what?
Bawbuthor : when we walked, did you look right, or left and see them.
Stanley the Stout: Well, we can alway take a look for those next time we visit the dwarf I guess.
Sequoia Wisetree: Near the drunk bandits we killed.
Bawbuthor : Yeah, let's focus on those evil bandits.
Sequoia Wisetree: There's a "pit" and a strange crystal.
Stanley the Stout: Right the bandits.
Bawbuthor : They are due a dung heap of karma.
Sequoia Wisetree: Nearby.
Stanley the Stout: *yawns*
Sequoia Wisetree: Whatever.
Bawbuthor : In the forest somewhere close probably.
Bawbuthor : Let's get what we can from the kitchen, probably no good after today.

Bawbuthor : *gets the last of the food*
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: nothing there
Bawbuthor : *passes out even shares*
Nori Longbeard: No medicine in there.
Bawbuthor : *eats*
Sequoia Wisetree: May as well kill a boar and cook it.
Bawbuthor : C'mon, Nori, we got it al.
Nori Longbeard: right.
Sequoia Wisetree: Hi Merem.
Bawbuthor : Let's try the other side of the stream this time.
Stanley the Stout: You mean to the west?
Nori Longbeard: A trader?
Sequoia Wisetree: How's the renting chest thing going?
Merem, The Enterprising Halfling: Hello there, Bawbuthor.
Sequoia Wisetree: Don't see many customers around.
Bawbuthor: You know my name?
Merem, The Enterprising Halfling: *Winks*
Bawbuthor: contine.
Merem, The Enterprising Halfling: I'm from Lalvenia. I can let you use my 6 chests for a small fee...10 gold coins.
Bawbuthor: Ok. I would like to use the chests.
Merem, The Enterprising Halfling: Thank you for the gold! I'll have the chests unlocked momentarily. Don't bother me while I am unlocking chests please.
Sequoia Wisetree: Why noy just buy a chest?
Sequoia Wisetree: * not
Bawbuthor : Okay, I feel much better.

Nori Longbeard: *scratches his beard*
Bawbuthor : Lets go east.
Stanley the Stout: East or west?
Sequoia Wisetree: Er North?
Nori Longbeard: all the same to me.
Sequoia Wisetree: * look down * This thing is really deep.
Nori Longbeard: Why are these wolves stalking us?
Sequoia Wisetree: Here too.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ignore them.
Nori Longbeard: I wish they would ignore me.
Bawbuthor : anyone see stanley

Sequoia Wisetree: Is this a gate?
Stanley the Stout: Some sorta ancient ruins
Bawbuthor : *jumps*
Stanley the Stout: and a guardian
Bawbuthor : Oh, there you are.
Stanley the Stout: not bandits
Nori Longbeard: Nope -- but I usually don't. Heh,
Stanley the Stout: least I don't think so
Stanley the Stout: you wanna poke round here or look elsewhere?
Bawbuthor : We've seen a few of those gaurdians
Sequoia Wisetree: * whisper * Red armor over there.
Bawbuthor : Looks like the same again.
Nori Longbeard: a gate?
Sequoia Wisetree: * w* We can shoot him down.
Stanley the Stout: can try I guess
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Not very brave though.
Sequoia Wisetree: Too late
Bawbuthor : *pokes through the space*
Nori Longbeard: Too late for what?
Sequoia Wisetree: A shield and a curvy dagger.
Bawbuthor : *stuffs it in the pack*

Stanley the Stout: *w* more guards ahead
Sequoia Wisetree: We can always retreat to the other side...
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Three
Bawbuthor : here they come
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Stanley the Stout: Silly barbarian
Sequoia Wisetree: One scroll for my studies
Stanley the Stout: barbarian, RUN
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Nori Longbeard: Are these things even alive?
Sequoia Wisetree: Thhey have that electric thing don't stay close when they fall.
Sequoia Wisetree: Blocked
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Sequoia Wisetree: hm a trick perhaps

A Red Statue: *A detailed statue of an armored warrior*

Sequoia Wisetree: We may need a wizard to figure this.
Nori Longbeard: *watches*

Fallen Red Forgotten Guardian: *A foul mist rises from where the body lies.*

Stanley the Stout: some boots
Sequoia Wisetree: We found three or four of these dead knights or whatever they are.
Bawbuthor : *looks down at his bare feet* Good ones?
Nori Longbeard: I thought Stanley was killing them.
Stanley the Stout: Try them on I guess
Stanley the Stout: *hands them over*
Bawbuthor : *tries them on, really liking them*
Stanley the Stout: *examines*

Grooved Pillar: *The way is not fully guarded. You may not pass.*

Nori Longbeard: buttons ...

Grooved Pillar: *The way is not fully guarded. You may not pass.*

Sequoia Wisetree: If this is the way to the mountain we will have to find how to unlock the thing.

Grooved Pillar: *The way is not fully guarded. You may not pass.*

Sequoia Wisetree: Ah

Stanley the Stout: maybe you strong folk can smash it down
Sequoia Wisetree: Aaaaah
Nori Longbeard: perhaps not.
Bawbuthor : *hmmph*
Nori Longbeard: Well done Sequoia

Stanley the Stout: *w* more guardians ahead
Bawbuthor : *tries to get away*
Nori Longbeard: ugh
Bawbuthor : nori
Bawbuthor : *roars*
Sequoia Wisetree: How did they ambush us?
Bawbuthor : big sword
Stanley the Stout: came up behind from the tunnel I guess
Bawbuthor : gimme a second
Bawbuthor : magic shield and cure scrolls
Bawbuthor : I'd be surprised to find bandits out here.
Sequoia Wisetree: That was a close one. Let's not get killed.
Stanley the Stout: More guardians in green in distant ruins
Sequoia Wisetree: * w* Something in the myst.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Hold
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Many armors ahead
Bawbuthor : I'm full of stuff already
Sequoia Wisetree: Flail and shield enchanted I think
Bawbuthor : can you pick it up and carry it?
Bawbuthor : good mage scroll
Stanley the Stout: scroll

Bawbuthor : wait
Nori Longbeard: I'm all ears.
Sequoia Wisetree: There some kind of openeing here.
Sequoia Wisetree: Unless it's a trap.
Nori Longbeard: aye seems to be some sort of auziliary access hatchway ... or something.
Stanley the Stout: clear
Bawbuthor : Where are we?
Sequoia Wisetree: In a dangerous place I guess.
Nori Longbeard: underground ... heh.
Stanley the Stout: barbarian, slow down
Sequoia Wisetree: I cover you Stanley.
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Bawbuthor : I guess we wait back here, Nori.

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * More dead soldiers
Bawbuthor : How many is a more?
Stanley the Stout: *holds up 3 fingers*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We should fight them here since we cannot retreat.
Bawbuthor : What color are they?
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * or fight another day.
Bawbuthor : I've used half my healing so far, getting here.
Bawbuthor : are they coming
Stanley the Stout: at least a couple more beyond the three stationed nearby
Sequoia Wisetree: ah
Sequoia Wisetree: Who can examine the shield and flail?
Stanley the Stout: I can look at stuff.
Bawbuthor : I'm slowed by all this weight i'm carrying. perhaps we should head back.
Nori Longbeard: I don't like the way they shock everything when they fall.
Stanley the Stout: Would be wise; we were looking for the bandits anyhow.
Stanley the Stout: Show me what you have.
Nori Longbeard: You can't use those? I don't need scrolls for that.
Stanley the Stout: Nothing I can use.
Stanley the Stout: Let's take them and sell them, if no one can use them.
Sequoia Wisetree: Even the shield?
Bawbuthor : I may use the flail, not sure
Sequoia Wisetree: I guess we have not find the way to the mountain yet.
Bawbuthor : this looks like it, but the way is dangerous,
Sequoia Wisetree: Through that old tower?
Bawbuthor : I suppose not.

Stanley the Stout: *drinks an ale while waiting*
Stanley the Stout: So back to the inn to rest, then haul our loot to the dwarf?
Bawbuthor : We could explore a little on the way, right?
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: I don't need to rest just yet.

Sequoia Wisetree: The wolves!
Outlaw: Ack!
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Bawbuthor : damn dogs
Nori Longbeard: bugger
Stanley the Stout: about a dozen
Stanley the Stout: so much for a plan
Sequoia Wisetree: Bandits?
Outlaw: Where is everyone?!
Outlaw: At least let me finish my food! *gulp*
Outlaw: Where is everyone?!
Outlaw: Ack!
Outlaw: Where are my arrows!
Outlaw: Shoot! Shoot!
Outlaw: Where is my bow?!

Sequoia Wisetree: More

Marlfin the Outlaw: I'm ruined! Ruined... Now prepare to die!
Marlfin the Outlaw: Bessie!
Sequoia Wisetree: Two

Bawbuthor : thanks
Bawbuthor : I'm full
Nori Longbeard: welcome
Bawbuthor : did you guys get all this
Sequoia Wisetree: So fast!
Sequoia Wisetree: not yet
Stanley the Stout: pack here might prove useful
Stanley the Stout: to those carrrying alot
Sequoia Wisetree: May be check for traps
Bawbuthor : I got this corner
Nori Longbeard: oh I have a Red Guard Shield -- but not the armor.
Stanley the Stout: some longbows here
Bawbuthor : I have one as well, and a blue one
Bawbuthor : I could use a long bow
Nori Longbeard: I can pack some things ... 35# or so if it helps?
Bawbuthor : I'm heading back, grab one for me
Nori Longbeard: Grab one what?
Bawbuthor : Long bow
Stanley the Stout: got it
Bawbuthor : *looks at the wolves*
Nori Longbeard: looks like it is all collected.

Sequoia Wisetree: Wolves!
Bawbuthor : damned dogs
Sequoia Wisetree: What did you do to them?
Bawbuthor : they get into a pack, and get bold
Nori Longbeard: oh?
Sequoia Wisetree: So they like you then.

Sequoia Wisetree: Wait
Stanley the Stout: some sort of mage
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!
Sequoia Wisetree: Witch?
Bawbuthor : Hello?
Sequoia Wisetree: * look *
Bawbuthor : Lady
Manadh Luth Randir: Suilannad... mae govannen saian luume',,, *it is a pleasure to meet you...*
Bawbuthor: ...hello. Who are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: Come, you may visit me.
Nori Longbeard: She's building a fire.
Stanley the Stout: *listens*
Bawbuthor: How are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: You have nothing to interest the Outwood Witch. Perhaps something of Dagnir... You may go.
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!
Sequoia Wisetree: Interest?
Bawbuthor : *shrugs*
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!
Manadh Luth Randir: Suilannad... mae govannen saian luume',,, *it is a pleasure to meet you...*
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Sequoia Wisetree: ...hello. Who are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: Come, you may visit me.
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!
Sequoia Wisetree: How are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: You have nothing to interest the Outwood Witch. Perhaps something of Dagnir... You may go.
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit *
Manadh Tuilinn: Caw! Caw!

Kelio, The Traveling Merchant: It's fortunate I came along! It is a true mess inside. The Inn will need to be closed for quite a while, I imagine. Is there something I can help you with?
Logan, A Cute Kiddie: Mommy, Look... water!
Sequoia Wisetree: Look! They are back!
Logan, A Cute Kiddie: I like exploring!
Stanley the Stout: Yes, do you have anything for sale that might make us stronger?
Anlaw the Tailor: Hello! I'm glad I made it out of there alive.
Cassandra: We're finally going home!
Caravan Guard: The forest looks unsafe.
Caravan Guard: Watch out for hostile creatures! We're not paid to attack anything you know!
Sequoia Wisetree: Are you done with the cloak?
Anlaw the Tailor: Yes indeed. I hope you didn't think I made off!
Sequoia Wisetree: If you had, it would not have been good for you.
Anlaw the Tailor: *Chuckles* Here it is.
Sequoia Wisetree: Thank you.
Stanley the Stout: *replenishes bolt supply*
Stanley the Stout: I got a little gold from a few gems and weapons I sold.
Stanley the Stout: about 75 each.
Nori Longbeard: ah thanks.
Bawbuthor : long bow??
Harper Bendt: Hello! Nice work against the bandits. What may I do for you?
Nori Longbeard: Have you heard anything about these forests?
Harper Bendt: Hmm, have you heard of the legendary Great Gruitha Bear... or the Luth Randir?
Nori Longbeard: What is a Gruitha bear?
Harper Bendt: The Great Gruitha Bear! You heard right. It's a species of bear out of the elder days. Huge and ferocious.
Harper Bendt: It's the ones out of the stories... do you know... where Gildor wrestles with the great bear bare-handed and such... that was a great Gruitha bear...
Stanley the Stout: gloves are for theives so I'll keep those.
Nori Longbeard: go on...
Harper Bendt: Well, according to the local rangers, there's one that makes its lair north of here... in the cliffs. If you're interested, we can have a nice Bear Hunt!
Nori Longbeard: Bears don't interest me.
Nori Longbeard: The Luth Radir?
Harper Bendt: "Lathrada! e tira ten 'rashew Manadh Luth Radir!" ...or in other words, listen and beware the witch of the forest! *CHUCKLES* Something like that! So beware dealing with the forest witch.
Nori Longbeard: What does *that* mean?
Harper Bendt: Just a comment about some possible encounters in the forest. The Randir has been seen around a fire doing some strange enchanting... Last seen somewhere to the east. *Hums a little tune*
Nori Longbeard: Very well.
Nori Longbeard: hmmm ... he knows of that witch.
Stanley the Stout: What did we get for the other stuff we looted?
Bawbuthor : 250 gold each
Nori Longbeard: I didn't loot anything.
Sequoia Wisetree: I took a few items from the bodies, got my cloak from the tailor and I might just keep it for now. Also the witch gave me some bracers.
Nori Longbeard: ah thanks.
Stanley the Stout: gold's for the sling I sold
Bawbuthor : what were the gloves?
Nori Longbeard: Got some more healing kits ...
Sequoia Wisetree: And the cloak I already paid for.
Bawbuthor : Maybe Sequoia could carry the satchel.
Stanley the Stout: we can sell this stuff I guess?
Nori Longbeard: I'll take that bag if no one else wants it.
Bawbuthor : I have a scroll or two, that a wizard could use, we should sell that too, I suppose.
Sequoia Wisetree: But I am not that strong. Nori may be.
Nori Longbeard: I'm not strong either -- and heavy gear.
Nori Longbeard: I just wouldn't sell it unless we had better.
Sequoia Wisetree: Who can use the darts?
Nori Longbeard: Thanks.
Sequoia Wisetree: * point to ground *
Stanley the Stout: for the other loot I just sold
Bawbuthor : okay
Sequoia Wisetree: Darts anyone?
Bawbuthor : I can carry the darts easier than more gold
Bawbuthor : we can sell them next time
Nori Longbeard: Why not now?
Stanley the Stout: I use the crossbow, no need of darts
Sequoia Wisetree: Use them when we face "magical" creatures.
Bawbuthor : do you need more gold?
Nori Longbeard: I've pretty much spent all I have.
Bawbuthor : yes, take them than
Sequoia Wisetree: Can't use them I have my bow.
Nori Longbeard: ... on healing kits.
Nori Longbeard: I'm going to take a moment to recharge.
Stanley the Stout: What is a Gruitha bear?
Harper Bendt: The Great Gruitha Bear! You heard right. It's a species of bear out of the elder days. Huge and ferocious.
Harper Bendt: It's the ones out of the stories... do you know... where Gildor wrestles with the great bear bare-handed and such... that was a great Gruitha bear...
Stanley the Stout: go on...
Harper Bendt: Well, according to the local rangers, there's one that makes its lair north of here... in the cliffs. If you're interested, we can have a nice Bear Hunt!
Stanley the Stout: Sounds good!
Harper Bendt: That's my boy! Lovely! I love adventurers. Its a pretty tough bear... I can teach you a little bear strategy if you like.
Stanley the Stout: Yes, I'll hear it.
Harper Bendt: Ok. The bear should be just leaving his deep sleep season now. He'll be pretty hungry.
Nori Longbeard: or perhaps not.
Harper Bendt: You should look for signs of a feeding. Now he's also very strong. One swipe could tear one of you in two. I'd keep my distance if I were you.
Harper Bendt: Good thing, he'll be fairly slow at this time. Be careful, he is capable of charging you!
Harper Bendt: If you like, I can send a local boy with special nets. The quick youth can help slow the bear down a bit... with his net that is.
Stanley the Stout: No, we will be fine.
Harper Bendt: Good for you! Go get him!
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Stanley the Stout: So then....
Stanley the Stout: Everyone finished resupplying?
Nori Longbeard: Yep.
Sequoia Wisetree: We go hunting?
Stanley the Stout: So rest up and then head out again?
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Nori Longbeard: Inn is closed.
Sequoia Wisetree: Try the magic circle.
Bawbuthor : My supplies are in the chest around back.
Nori Longbeard: You hope.
Bawbuthor : should I get them?
Sequoia Wisetree: We make camp then?
Stanley the Stout: Will need them to rest.
Stanley the Stout: I'm fine but others aren't.
Bawbuthor : I'm fine
Sequoia Wisetree: I have one with me.
Nori Longbeard: I'm good for now.
Sequoia Wisetree: Good here.
Stanley the Stout: Ok then
Stanley the Stout: What's the next plan?
Bawbuthor : Goblins in the west forest.
Sequoia Wisetree: Whatever you want to hunt.
Bawbuthor : Bear north, right?
Nori Longbeard: That is what the man said.
Sequoia Wisetree: Just make sure we reach the mountains before snowfall.
Bawbuthor : I need a few more kits,
Nori Longbeard: What is the deal with the mountains?
Stanley the Stout: Goblins sound less dangerous than a bear.
Sequoia Wisetree: Goblins? Where?
Stanley the Stout: West

Sequoia Wisetree: Endless pit.
Stanley the Stout: Along the stream to the west.
Sequoia Wisetree: The way to the cave?
Bawbuthor : *waits for Stan*
Sequoia Wisetree: I see dead deers
Bawbuthor : *looks at the dogs*
Sequoia Wisetree: Where are they?

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Nori Longbeard: rats.
Bawbuthor : six
Sequoia Wisetree: * try to follow tracks *
Sequoia Wisetree: * stand by the fire *
Nori Longbeard: hmm ... not much fun, that.
Stanley the Stout: Priest a cloak for you here
Nori Longbeard: heh -- lore? Does someone else want this?
Stanley the Stout: Found one already
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Stanley the Stout: Helm for the priest
Nori Longbeard: oh that is useful.
Stanley the Stout: Got some documents off the gobo's
Stanley the Stout: and a rough map
Nori Longbeard: a map? How very interesting.
Stanley the Stout: *nods* looks like they were digging for loot.
Bawbuthor : found a head
Stanley the Stout: a head?
Nori Longbeard: lovely.
Bawbuthor : statue head, probably
Nori Longbeard: Wonder if it belonged to this helm?

Nori Longbeard: heh -- Stanley that kid is taller than you!
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit * Where in all Hells did you go? The bottom of Moria?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : Okay, I sold the armor and pitched in all my gold to get another elven satchel, to make carrying some of this equipement back easier.
Nori Longbeard: Not quite the bottom -- just a bit to the west of here -- thought I was following you!
Kelio, The Traveling Merchant: It's fortunate I came along! It is a true mess inside. The Inn will need to be closed for quite a while, I imagine. Is there something I can help you with?
Stanley the Stout: Yes, do you have anything for sale that might make us stronger?
Bawbuthor : I hope you don't mind. *looks at his companions*
Nori Longbeard: And what if I did mind? What then?
Bawbuthor : I'm gonna hold onto the wizard cloak, in case one of us can use it some day.
Sequoia Wisetree: I will
Sequoia Wisetree: But not yet.
Bawbuthor : I'll give you my share next time we split, Nori.
Nori Longbeard: Naw -- was just wondering was all -- no sence packing armor around if you ain't wearing it.
Bawbuthor : I've made good use of this leather I got off the moles. It does stink though.
Sequoia Wisetree: You asked the tailor to do something with it?
Bawbuthor : Nope.
Stanley the Stout: Right then.
Nori Longbeard: oh! Reminds me I cans sell this old pot helm I've been reluctant to toss!
Bawbuthor : Oh, I think I have stuff for sale in the chests, .... maybe next time I'll clear it out.
Harper Bendt: How is the bear hunt going?
Nori Longbeard: I can't find the bear!
Harper Bendt: Hmm, the last villager that ran screaming out of the forest said the northwestern edge...
Nori Longbeard: ...thank you.
Sequoia Wisetree: I have seen the bear. A very large one indeed.
Stanley the Stout: We've got sites the gobo's were digging up we can explore, or bear hunting I guess.
Bawbuthor : *nods* Let's see what them gobos found so interesting.
Sequoia Wisetree: Even I did not dare to try to kill it alone.
Stanley the Stout: Yeah, sounds more profitable than hunting a bear.
Stanley the Stout: *looks at map*
Sequoia Wisetree: If you ask me the "dead" adventurers deep in the cave must have a fair share of spoil to take.
Stanley the Stout: what cave is that?
Bawbuthor : The bugbears?
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Bawbuthor : *interested*
Sequoia Wisetree: The cave with spirits and the small river and the statues.
Stanley the Stout: there were a lot of them as I remember
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes but with the statues we can find their weaknesses and strengths.
Sequoia Wisetree: ... and perhaps make a plan.
Bawbuthor : Oh, the five across the water, I remember now.
Stanley the Stout: hmm, don't want anything to do with those statues.
Nori Longbeard: hmmm ... missed that one.
Sharen Frealand: *glances around the area* It has certainly gotten more crowded here...
Bawbuthor : Ah
Bawbuthor : You've returned.
Stanley the Stout: dead elven spirits *shakes head*
Nori Longbeard: Indeed it has.
Bawbuthor : did you find your father?
Sequoia Wisetree: Well the statues are harmless but the group we did see... I guess if you are true warriors.
Sequoia Wisetree: There is no pride in killing a few goblins.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs* Not warrior, so don't care.
Sharen Frealand: *she sighs* I believe the dwaven hermit is going a little blind...he gave me clues about a man who only looked vaguely like my father from a distance in the dark.
Bawbuthor : No, but they are organised, digging with a map, that could be important.
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Stanley the Stout: In any case, think you all could use a bit of rest before we head out.
Nori Longbeard: He was human though right? You all sort of look alike to us.
Bawbuthor : I suppose so.
Nori Longbeard: I would enjoy some time to meditate.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's roast a wild pig over this fire.
Stanley the Stout: We'll have to camp here, the inn's closed.
Sharen Frealand: I suppose it has been a long trek for me. I would rest for a moment.
Bawbuthor : We'll have to sleep out here.
Nori Longbeard: Yes, strange isn't it?
Stanley the Stout: *stands watch*

Nori Longbeard: That has me going again.
Sequoia Wisetree: Who's that woman?
Stanley the Stout: Who?
Bawbuthor : well, that was my only woodland kit, I dont have enough gold to buy another.
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: This one
Nori Longbeard: guess we will have to find some gold then -- I don't have any either.
Bawbuthor : I can use the lighter ones, so dont buy any heavy ones.
Sharen Frealand: *she smirks a little* Still treasure hunting I see.
Stanley the Stout: She was working with us ealier.
Stanley the Stout: *earlier
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah yeah they come and go then I forget.
Bawbuthor : *balances a claymore on his shoulder*
Nori Longbeard: I think that helm has fuddled your brain Sequoia.
Sequoia Wisetree: Waht?
Stanley the Stout: So back to the gobo diggings? They have 4 sites marked on their map.
Bawbuthor : Lets head north.
Nori Longbeard: exactly.
Nori Longbeard: heh -- a little dwur humor friend.
Bawbuthor : *waits*
Nori Longbeard: Just hope some hunter doesn't put an arrow up your back side.
Stanley the Stout: One site is to the se

Stanley the Stout: guess we got this one already
Stanley the Stout: *examines map*
Bawbuthor : More this way.
Sequoia Wisetree: What is this thing doing here?
Nori Longbeard: Goblins didn't say.

Stanley the Stout: Theres another west of here a bit.
Bawbuthor : what is it?
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Enemies
Bawbuthor : *aims at the middle one*
Stanley the Stout: just see three
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Bawbuthor : Ready!
Sharen Frealand: *looks around expecting more*
Bawbuthor : *swings the large blade easily*
Bawbuthor : lets move
Sequoia Wisetree: Gold and scrolls
Sharen Frealand: The forest...is packed...with them.
Bawbuthor : find anything?
Stanley the Stout: some potions for warriors here
Bawbuthor : I can carry the heavy stuff
Sequoia Wisetree: More ahead
Stanley the Stout: picked up some cloaks if anyone wants one
Sharen Frealand: There is a cloak over here though I can not determine the type
Bawbuthor : *takes the potions*
Stanley the Stout: guess not everyone can use them
Stanley the Stout: hmm overloaded
Stanley the Stout: anyone got some spare room?
Bawbuthor : I do.
Sequoia Wisetree: I can carry some

Bawbuthor : damned goblins
Nori Longbeard: Kind of fun killing them actually.
Sequoia Wisetree: Some spoil to share
Sharen Frealand: *takes a moment to nurse a cut on her sword arm*
Sequoia Wisetree: More of them by the waterfall
Stanley the Stout: hmm some useful armor for me
Bawbuthor : I use light armor also, let me know when you find another set.
Stanley the Stout: actually can't wear it
Stanley the Stout: help yourself
Sharen Frealand: *observes the ruins*...Eye and Teardrop markings...
Sequoia Wisetree: More scrolls and four coins
Bawbuthor : too heavy, i can carry it though
Stanley the Stout: some gobo scrolls *looks them over*
Stanley the Stout: take a look at these *hands scrolls around*
Sharen Frealand: *her eyes widen a bit as she remembers something* ...this is bad...
Sequoia Wisetree: What are they up to?
Nori Longbeard: So, we need to find the "Chief" eh?
Bawbuthor : uh oh, better hurry too
Sharen Frealand: I do not know...but these ruins...they were built to worship a dark power.
Nori Longbeard: They were?
Sequoia Wisetree: There is a chain shirt in the water.
Bawbuthor : Angbad, from the looks of the ruins.
Stanley the Stout: theres another site in the nw according to this map.
Bawbuthor : Let's check the other sites.
Sequoia Wisetree: It's a bit wet.
Sharen Frealand: I'm not sure but I get an odd feeling around them.

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sharen Frealand: *observing the notes* They are trying to be invincible?
Bawbuthor : I hear chanting
Sharen Frealand: *Whispers* Bugbears
Sequoia Wisetree: There is a passage here under the waterfall.
Bawbuthor : *watches the camp*
Sequoia Wisetree: Who's hungry?
Nori Longbeard: For goby food?
Sharen Frealand: I'm more concerned about the goblins and bugbears to the north.
Sequoia Wisetree: Oh thank you
Stanley the Stout: count 2 bugbears and at least 2 gobo
Bawbuthor : shaman to the right
Sequoia Wisetree: We may want to find a choke point.
Sequoia Wisetree: What is that one workshipping?
Bawbuthor : The ceremony is going on right now.
Stanley the Stout: healing potion here for warriors
Sharen Frealand: More ritual worshipping...this isn't my expertise so I can't say exactly what they are doing...
Stanley the Stout: buncha gobos north and a few to east
Stanley the Stout: too bad we've no mage to fireball the lota 'em
Sharen Frealand: From the notes, I'm guessing the chief or the tribe as a whole is trying to obtain invincibility.
Sequoia Wisetree: Fireball? Good idea.
Stanley the Stout: wanna try t'take'em?
Bawbuthor : fireball sounds really good, can you do it?
Stanley the Stout: nope, I'm no spellfilinger
Sequoia Wisetree: Give me until next fall and may be.
Stanley the Stout: if ya back up
Bawbuthor : woah, thats a big axe
Stanley the Stout: I could try luring a few to you.
Bawbuthor : nah, lets storm them, put fear into them
Sharen Frealand: I think we have no choice here. This could become problematic if they awaken something they should leave alone.
Stanley the Stout: back to the stream.
Nori Longbeard: let them come to us I think is better.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : Okay
Sequoia Wisetree: Well they have awaken us already. Too bad.
Stanley the Stout: wait fer 'em on the far bank
Stanley the Stout: get'm coming outta water
Nori Longbeard: That far away?
Stanley the Stout: yep
Bawbuthor : *stands by a rock8
Nori Longbeard: These are goblins we are talking about.
Stanley the Stout: less ya want the whole mob on ya
Bawbuthor : *motions Sharen to the other side of the rock*
Sequoia Wisetree: I don't enjoy killing goblins but...
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Nori Longbeard: I like killing them just fine.
Stanley the Stout: Nori, back up
Bawbuthor : Back here, Nori.
Bawbuthor : *waves Nori over*
Nori Longbeard: You'd think they were giants the way we hide from them.
Stanley the Stout: alright form up again
Stanley the Stout: Nori, fall back
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*

Urkurtik, War Chieftain Goblin: faugh fregi, thegusaga gremnich!
Bawbuthor : *clubs the goblin in the skull*
Bawbuthor : he has a key
Sharen Frealand: *breathes deeply* Is everyone...alive?
Bawbuthor : and a sword
Sequoia Wisetree: Check these
Bawbuthor : Need some potions, Sharen?
Sharen Frealand: yes, thank you
Stanley the Stout: ring if some one needs it
Sequoia Wisetree: I do
Stanley the Stout: help yourself
Sharen Frealand: *takes a look at the longsword*
Bawbuthor : its half of what I got left. You were very brave in that fight, Sharen.
Sharen Frealand: *She recoils at the sight of the blade* A fitting weapon for that twisted thing...
Stanley the Stout: if anyone can and wants to use the weapons help yourself
Sequoia Wisetree: I can use the sword or the small axe but only if I get cornered.
Stanley the Stout: if not, pack'em.
Bawbuthor : I'm happy with the weapons I have, actually.
Sequoia Wisetree: Axe seems enchanted
Bawbuthor : Thanks, Nori.
Bawbuthor : someone should use them, or at least carry them, I'm full just about, again.
Sequoia Wisetree: Can you tell anything about the small axe?
Stanley the Stout: also if someone needs a bow
Stanley the Stout: small but better than nothing
Sharen Frealand: *She takes a look at the axe and gazes harder at the sword* hm
Stanley the Stout: anyone?
Sequoia Wisetree: You want it?
Sequoia Wisetree: Take it
Sequoia Wisetree: A bow
Bawbuthor : *picks up stuff lying around*
Sharen Frealand: I was trained to use Longswords well so I will take it
Bawbuthor : what kind of bow?
Bawbuthor : I could use a better one.
Sequoia Wisetree: Of course
Stanley the Stout: *sorts pack*
Sequoia Wisetree: Let me have the small axe.
Sequoia Wisetree: This bow is for hobbits.
Stanley the Stout: prefer a crossbow
Sharen Frealand: Still, it is surprising to see such a weapon in goblin hands.
Nori Longbeard: Indeed -- my thoughts exactly.
Sequoia Wisetree: This short bow does not help me.
Bawbuthor : We should continue see what else they dug up.
Bawbuthor : whats with the bow?
Sequoia Wisetree: Anyone like a shortbow with a faint enchantment?
Sharen Frealand: If you have no need, perhaps you could give it to me. I have nothing to fight from a distance with anyway.
Bawbuthor : *nods*

Stanley the Stout: There was a cave back south, probably a gobo lair.
Stanley the Stout: *examines map*
Sharen Frealand: Thank you
Bawbuthor : We haven't found the priest yet.
Bawbuthor : Or chief.
Sequoia Wisetree: No problem if we want to reach the moutain we have to be a strong like an army.
Sharen Frealand: Yes we did. The chief is over there among the bodies
Stanley the Stout: I think they're north from the scrolls we recovered.
Bawbuthor : oh, right.
Nori Longbeard: That dude wasn't the Chief?
Stanley the Stout: wanna check out the cave south or not?
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure.
Sharen Frealand: *walks over to one of the corpses and points at it with her sword* This one was shouting commands
Nori Longbeard: Why not, we are here.
Bawbuthor : May as well finish the task.

Bawbuthor : *tries to keep up with Stanley*
Stanley the Stout: not a gobo lair
Bawbuthor : *waits for Sharen*
Stanley the Stout: skeletons inside
Sharen Frealand: ...the smell of death is thick here...
Bawbuthor : *listens*
Sequoia Wisetree: What was that he tried to pull on us?
Stanley the Stout: nice shield
Stanley the Stout: healing supplies for priest
Nori Longbeard: I have some of those -- you keep it.
Stanley the Stout: you're better with these though
Stanley the Stout: or should be
Nori Longbeard: Not when I have to run half a legue to use it.
Stanley the Stout: I have plenty already
Bawbuthor : nice shield
Nori Longbeard: right. thanks.
Bawbuthor : will you use it?
Sharen Frealand: *blinks a bit* I am very grateful
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Bawbuthor : I prefer to see you upright, Miss Sharen.
Bawbuthor : *grins*
Stanley the Stout: old journal *passes it around*
Sequoia Wisetree: * Look at the chain *
Sequoia Wisetree: Does this chain open something?
Nori Longbeard: Might pull the roof down on ya.

Sequoia Wisetree: Dead soldiers who cannot rest.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: Priest can you help them?
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: a lot
Nori Longbeard: really.
Stanley the Stout: almost a dozen
Nori Longbeard: hmm -- I could not affect them earlier.
Bawbuthor : *gulps*
Stanley the Stout: well your choice, go on or go back
Sharen Frealand: If we do this, we need to pull a few of them back to the hall. The door can be a choke point.
Bawbuthor : We're here, how bad can it be.
Sequoia Wisetree: Any way to break that curse?
Stanley the Stout: could take them at the door
Stanley the Stout: need to back up
Stanley the Stout: and give me room to pass
Bawbuthor : *looks to Sharen and Nori* you two want to hold the line?
Sharen Frealand: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: We'll see if we can.
Bawbuthor : I'm right behind you.

Bawbuthor : Very well done.
Stanley the Stout: might be more hold up
Sequoia Wisetree: Well yes.
Sharen Frealand: We still need to wait for the rest
Sequoia Wisetree: Fall back
Bawbuthor : that's a lot of empty graves.
Nori Longbeard: Perhaps they were never buried.
Stanley the Stout: hold at the door
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*

Nori Longbeard: I'm not standing around while they shoot arrows at me.
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan want me to go?
Sequoia Wisetree: Take some
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah hobbits all the same.
Sharen Frealand: *eyes the fallen skelletons* This would have been difficult if we tackled them all at once.
Stanley the Stout: still one mage I think
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan take some rest let me go.
Stanley the Stout: fine
Stanley the Stout: he may be invisible though
Nori Longbeard: wonderful.
Stanley the Stout: *catches breath*

Sequoia Wisetree: One casted a web on me.
Nori Longbeard: Spider?
Bawbuthor : maybe we should all move forward now.
Bawbuthor : Mage
Bawbuthor : *looks around*
Sequoia Wisetree: CLEAR
Bawbuthor : I dont see any mages.
Sequoia Wisetree: The mage was dead I had to kill him once morel
Nori Longbeard: Small armory in the corner there.
Sequoia Wisetree: We may want to regroup here.
Bawbuthor : couple of magic items
Stanley the Stout: magical chain shirt here
Stanley the Stout: if someone can carry it
Sharen Frealand: So much death...*mutters a small prayer for the fallen*
Sequoia Wisetree: * Examine things on the ground *
Sequoia Wisetree: * grab shield remove dust * Look at this
Stanley the Stout: *picks up some spare bolts*
Sequoia Wisetree: and
Sharen Frealand: *notices a note in the urn and reads it*
Nori Longbeard: hmm ... no help with the armor.
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Bawbuthor : I found a magic long bow as well.
Sequoia Wisetree: I think I can keep the mage robe.
Sharen Frealand: "All bear witness that they who lie buried here died in the name of Valor"
Stanley the Stout: *plops chain shirt down*
Sharen Frealand: *looks at the shield*
Stanley the Stout: pretty nice morning star
Nori Longbeard: Orcs killed them? But where are the orcs?
Bawbuthor : as I said, I picked up a long bow I'm hanging on to.
Sharen Frealand: This is a good shield but I am favoring the one I have now
Bawbuthor : anyone want the armor?
Stanley the Stout: Nothing for me here
Bawbuthor : yes?
Sharen Frealand: The morningstar is impressive as well
Stanley the Stout: I'd recommend one of the warriors or priest keep the morning star
Bawbuthor : Sharen, you want the armor?
Sequoia Wisetree: Priest may be.
Stanley the Stout: very handy against skeletons and the like.
Sharen Frealand: Let me see it a moment, please
Nori Longbeard: I like me hammer.
Stanley the Stout: help yourself
Stanley the Stout: pack up what no one wants to use.
Stanley the Stout: can sell it later
Bawbuthor : just ask, I have it in my packs
Sequoia Wisetree: Well use that flail thing or let me use it.

Bawbuthor : uimm
Bawbuthor : hey
Nori Longbeard: Interesting.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah there is a curse after all.
Stanley the Stout: I'm guessing we need the morning star to kill that guy
Bawbuthor : *grumbles*

Stanley the Stout: priest you talk to him
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes barely
Bawbuthor : Thanks, Nori
Nori Longbeard: talk to who?
Stanley the Stout: the guardian
Stanley the Stout: up at the gate
Nori Longbeard: I think not. I don't talk to bones.
Sequoia Wisetree: * wait *
Sharen Frealand: This was a test of valor...hopefully there won't be any more tests.
Stanley the Stout: *sighs*
Sharen Frealand: I'll go then
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit * Come on

Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Welcome to the Temple of Annuminas. I bow to your martial prowess against the guardian. You are truely skilled.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: I am the Paladin Edledhron Leventhas. I have been bound to this place for many centuries.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: I have no salvation in the realm of the Living. Yet there is the hope of final rest if my greatest failure is righted.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Your strength is proven. Will you undertake my redemption?
Stanley the Stout: I need to know more about what is asked of me.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Very well.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Centuries ago, my people were slaughtered by the forces of Angband.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: I was away in the capital of Fornost and was not there to coordinate the defense. Why I was delayed in Fornost is... not important to you. Yet that delay was costly in the extreme.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: The people of Druadan perished. There is no recovery for the Druadans now... but I can not rest until my failure is recounted in some fashion.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: To that end, I have discovered a way...
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Deep within the corrupted tower of Minas Morn lies a relic capable of granting me one favor. Over the ages, I have unlocked the secret of its use and the mechanism of its power.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: If you could recover it for me, I would be able to call forth a phantasm of the fated battle at Druadan.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: I could enter this recreation - there to help defeat the forces of Angband and defend the Druadans. My torment would then come to an end.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: You would even be allowed to come with me! This is a heroic task and no easy feat.
Sequoia Wisetree: Minas Morn?
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: That is what I am asking of you.
Stanley the Stout: *looks around at the others*
Stanley the Stout: Sounds a bit tough to me.
Bawbuthor : That dungeon we found a few days ago.
Sequoia Wisetree: I agree let's do it.
Stanley the Stout: everyone agree to this?
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Sharen Frealand: *She holds her tongue for a moment but nods* I will assist...
Nori Longbeard: Sure ... not like I'm doing anything else at the moment.
Sequoia Wisetree: We have to go right now?
Stanley the Stout: dunno
Stanley the Stout: think we have to recover the item first.
Stanley the Stout: then bring it back to him.
Bawbuthor : I think we should pay those bugbears a visit now.
Sequoia Wisetree: Fine.
Stanley the Stout: Yes, I, Stanley the Stout, will undertake your redemption.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Excellent!
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: The Tower of Minas Morn lies in the central forest of Manadh near the Face of Silivren. What was once a fortress tower on a magestic peak...
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Minas Morn is now a series of ruins surrounded by dark chasms. Pass through the Face and you will be able search for an entrance to Minas Morn. However...
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: The ruins of the Tower are guarded by the Ortheri gate. To pass the gate, I can give you no help.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Once they were gilded gates of gold. Now they are huge stones barred to all attempts at passage. Yet they open freely for the forces of Angband.Curse those vile creatures!
Sequoia Wisetree: No problem.
Edledhron, Defender of Druadan: Should you figure a way passed the Gate, my only guidance is that the object you seek is a large and heavy stone radiating a fierce energy. Good Luck!

Fallen Red Forgotten Guardian: *A foul mist rises from where the body lies.*
Stanley the Stout: helm one of you might like
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Priest?
Bawbuthor : Nori?
Nori Longbeard: No, I'll keep the helm I have.
Sequoia Wisetree: Bless those in the front line.
Bawbuthor : Sharen?
Stanley the Stout: Anyone want it, if not, pack and sell.
Bawbuthor : I'll wear it, if not her.
Sequoia Wisetree: None of you can use it?
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah that's better.
Bawbuthor : How's it look?
Stanley the Stout: good enough
Stanley the Stout: So what next then?
Sharen Frealand: *Nods* Go ahead. It is a tad old but Its the protection it provides that matters.
Sequoia Wisetree: Like a warrior priest not to be taken lightly
Stanley the Stout: North to check on the gobo's or back to look for this rock?
Nori Longbeard: Looks good on you. heh.
Bawbuthor : lets finish the goblins off, hate to leave a bunch behind.
Sequoia Wisetree: We still have a few items needed to be examined. How do we proceed?
Stanley the Stout: what items?
Bawbuthor : everything examined that I have.
Sequoia Wisetree: One small axe the rest is not with me.
Stanley the Stout: show me what's unknown.
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Stanley the Stout: some minor enhancements
Stanley the Stout: anything else?
Stanley the Stout: anyone?
Sequoia Wisetree: No
Bawbuthor : all I'm missing is the red shield and armor, I have the boots, and helm
Stanley the Stout: pack it up then and let's move on.
Sequoia Wisetree: Don't need the old one then
Nori Longbeard: I have a shield if you want it.
Sequoia Wisetree: don't need an axe anyway

Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: a lot more
Bawbuthor : thanks
Sharen Frealand: Are you alright, Nori?
Stanley the Stout: magic bag
Bawbuthor : spider
Sequoia Wisetree: We need that.
Bawbuthor : magic scimater

Nori Longbeard: ok that be it until we make camp!
Bawbuthor: Not much left to see here. Just a little to the north west should be the last dig site.
Nori Longbeard: I have not been anywhere north except the area around the chief's camp.
Stanley the Stout: Neither have I
Bawbuthor: Let's see what's up that stream there.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: how about a camp first?
Sequoia Wisetree: I have seen the big bear.
Stanley the Stout: If you need to rest, this is probably a good place.
Sequoia Wisetree: Plenty of fog here.
Nori Longbeard: Aye, thought that was our plan.
Stanley the Stout: You have supplies handy?
Bawbuthor: I dont have a kit.
Nori Longbeard: nope.
Sequoia Wisetree: I have one kit here.
Nori Longbeard: ok forget about it then.
Stanley the Stout: Though you got some woodland supplies?
Bawbuthor: I must have used them. I'll get some more from the merchant by the Inn.
Stanley the Stout: Fine *makes a fire*
Bawbuthor: *stands guard*
Stanley the Stout: That was my only one
Nori Longbeard: ah -- better.
Stanley the Stout: So we'll need to head back for more if we're out.
Stanley the Stout: North then?
Sequoia Wisetree: All clear it seems.
Nori Longbeard: We can do that too -- do we have any gold, becuase I don't.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: More
Sequoia Wisetree: Two necklaces
Stanley the Stout: nice shortsword
Nori Longbeard: likely from victims eh?
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor: Can you carry it, I'm kinda weighed down already.
Stanley the Stout: Yeah
Sequoia Wisetree: I have the necklaces.
Nori Longbeard: Fancy looking cave here.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Nori Longbeard: A mine I'm guessing.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Bugbears?
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * What do you think?
Nori Longbeard: You be the scout.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Bawbuthor : Not I. *chuckles*
Nori Longbeard: *listens*
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Look like the same place, no?
Nori Longbeard: I guess it is safe?
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey?
Nori Longbeard: eh?
Nori Longbeard: big place.
Stanley the Stout: at least 8 bugbears, maybe more
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * This look like the same bugbear lair or mine we did see before.
Nori Longbeard: I must not have been with you then.
Bawbuthor : Only eight?
Nori Longbeard: Or me memories failing.
Stanley the Stout: Think there were more in the other place
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We came from below...
Nori Longbeard: We did?
Stanley the Stout: Hmm perhaps you're right
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Remember the river, the spirits and all that?
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Nori Longbeard: I must 'ave been sampling the merchant's ale.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * What now?
Bawbuthor : so, shall we see what they're digging up?
Nori Longbeard: This place cleared out?
Stanley the Stout: Well I could set one trap, but 8's still a few, especially if they all come at once.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We kill them all or they kill us I think.
Stanley the Stout: Might be able to lure on cave's worth here at a time.
Bawbuthor : Since I'm carrying so much, the archers will be a problem for me to get to quickly.
Nori Longbeard: hmm ... can you lure them in a smaller group? Say one or two?
Stanley the Stout: probably have to deal with 4 at a time.
Nori Longbeard: archers?
Stanley the Stout: there are four in each cave, at least.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * We could try but if they come together we must find a nice choke point outside to face them.
Bawbuthor : Crossbowmen.
Stanley the Stout: Didn't notice offhand.
Stanley the Stout: not sure they'll follow outside.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * or may be here.
Bawbuthor : Let me get by the wall, no retreat for me.
Stanley the Stout: you might want to stand by the entrance then.
Sequoia Wisetree: This formation here.
Stanley the Stout: at least you could fall back outside
Nori Longbeard: aye archers will have to close to fight!
Sequoia Wisetree: Or here.
Bawbuthor : Bring them to us, here.
Sequoia Wisetree: would be easier from the other side.
Stanley the Stout: ok one moment
Sequoia Wisetree: An amulet
Stanley the Stout: best stand back rather than rush out
Stanley the Stout: could be spotted by the other cave if not careful
Stanley the Stout: get ready
Nori Longbeard: then run them by us instead of over there.
Sequoia Wisetree: Three blue amulets probably magical.
Nori Longbeard: That's better.
Bawbuthor : Anything heavy to grab?
Sequoia Wisetree: I have the amulets.
Stanley the Stout: enchanted war hammer
Stanley the Stout: dwarf you want that?
Sequoia Wisetree: A shaman may be the leader alone.
Nori Longbeard: oh? I like hammers.
Stanley the Stout: or you have one
Sequoia Wisetree: Shall we?
Bawbuthor : I'll use what ever works.
Nori Longbeard: Only got me a normal one.
Stanley the Stout: take that one then
Nori Longbeard: thanks!
Sequoia Wisetree: Or examine these.
Stanley the Stout: examine what?
Sequoia Wisetree: The thre amulets.
Stanley the Stout: minor enchantments on each
Nori Longbeard: beyond me.
Stanley the Stout: take one if you need it
Sequoia Wisetree: Four of us who does not need one?
Stanley the Stout: I have one already
Sequoia Wisetree: Good
Bawbuthor : I have one of these already, paid good gold to the merchant for it.
Stanley the Stout: I'd say warriors first
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah why purchase?
Sequoia Wisetree: Nori?
Bawbuthor : Looked like a good investment at the time.
Nori Longbeard: I don't even know what it is.
Sequoia Wisetree: Else I keep and we sell later.
Stanley the Stout: should be one each as Baw and I have one.
Nori Longbeard: I don't have one -- but don't recognize it so can't use it.
Sequoia Wisetree: Wait this one the same, sure?
Bawbuthor : can you take a look at this sword, Stan.
Sequoia Wisetree: May be it's "better"
Sequoia Wisetree: Three were on the ground this is the third.
Stanley the Stout: what sword?
Sequoia Wisetree: So shall we kill the shaman?
Bawbuthor : Not that good.
Stanley the Stout: some minor enchantments
Bawbuthor : Thanks,
Stanley the Stout: The shaman then?
Nori Longbeard: And our plan?
Nori Longbeard: That worked it seems.
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Sequoia Wisetree: Take a look at these will you.
Stanley the Stout: enchanted light crossbow
Bawbuthor : I have a good long bow.
Sequoia Wisetree: Anfd there was another elven bag so we have two now.
Stanley the Stout: anyone need?
Bawbuthor : I bought a second bag from the merchant. That one makes three between us.
Stanley the Stout: I have one already, not sure where or when I got it now
Sequoia Wisetree: Who is using crossbow?
Stanley the Stout: I use a heavy one
Bawbuthor : Stan uses a crossbow.
Sequoia Wisetree: You can read that scroll Stan?
Nori Longbeard: I use a light one -- unless Stan wants to upgrade.
Stanley the Stout: no, just carrying for resale
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey one of you should have this crossbow.
Bawbuthor : *looks at what was being mined*
Sequoia Wisetree: Where is he going?
Bawbuthor : Hey
Bawbuthor : watch out
Sequoia Wisetree: And the boots of petrification? Anyone interested?
Bawbuthor : gold
Sequoia Wisetree: Where did you find that one?
Bawbuthor : Hiding, he jumped out while I was looking around*
Nori Longbeard: Really, stupid on his part eh?
Stanley the Stout: thats why best to stick together unless you're actually a scout
Sequoia Wisetree: You can use this?
Bawbuthor : I guess. One bugbear doesn't really scare me, Stan.
Sequoia Wisetree: And some nice boots.
Stanley the Stout: famous last words
Nori Longbeard: ok I got the bow.
Bawbuthor : i have some nice red guard boots already.
Sequoia Wisetree: Bow?
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah the small one.
Stanley the Stout: nothing I need
Stanley the Stout: pack and sell
Nori Longbeard: Yes, the light cross bow -- no one want the boots? I'll wear them.
Stanley the Stout: help yourself
Bawbuthor : *nods to Nori*
Sequoia Wisetree: Well if we want nice equipment I assume the dead heroes downstairs may have some nice items if we can kill them. * smile *
Nori Longbeard: Nice.
Bawbuthor : I can't out run a goat right now.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs* no interest in playing with elven ghosts
Sequoia Wisetree: Wait, use one of these
Bawbuthor : If we get into battle, I'll be standing my ground.
Sequoia Wisetree: We have two.
Stanley the Stout: think we should head back, sell off what we have and get more supplies
Nori Longbeard: hmm .. I can pack a bit .. 20#?
Bawbuthor : I have two already full of equipement for sale.
Sequoia Wisetree: Take both if you want.
Sequoia Wisetree: That way we can carry a bit more.
Nori Longbeard: ok that helped a bit -- can still pack 20# or so.
Stanley the Stout: not sure it matters that much, overloaded is overloaded
Sequoia Wisetree: These have somne faint enchantment on them Stan.
Bawbuthor : I'm still carrying way too much to fight effectively, lets head back to the Inn.
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure.
Nori Longbeard: right.
Stanley the Stout: Yeah, I know, but faint doesn't eliminate weight completely
Sequoia Wisetree: Thank you.
Nori Longbeard: welcome
Sequoia Wisetree: I hate demons.
Sequoia Wisetree: Who is going to sell the things?
Kelio, The Traveling Merchant: It's fortunate I came along! It is a true mess inside. The Inn will need to be closed for quite a while, I imagine. Is there something I can help you with?
Stanley the Stout: Yes, do you have anything for sale that might make us stronger?
Bawbuthor : Not I, my scarred face doesn't exactly make people like me.
Sequoia Wisetree: I scare them too you know.
Nori Longbeard: 23 coins for my old crossbow and hammer.
Bawbuthor : Whoever is selling for us, come get my stuff.
Sequoia Wisetree: He would give 125 coins for a silver necklace. Good enough?
Stanley the Stout: good enough
Nori Longbeard: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: Everyone here got an enchanted weapon?
Stanley the Stout: sheesh, no wonder you're overloaded, you're carry garbage.
Sequoia Wisetree: I have too many bags already. Take them.
Nori Longbeard: Garbage sells.
Bawbuthor : I have more
Sequoia Wisetree: A gift from a friend.
Nori Longbeard: what a nice gift! Thanks.
Sequoia Wisetree: Take it Stan.
Sequoia Wisetree: I still have three bags.
Sequoia Wisetree: I could buy many horses.
Nori Longbeard: Time to restock on the healing.
Bawbuthor : thats, it
Sequoia Wisetree: It is really pleasant to travel with you. Now I don't have to worry about one of you trying to kill me in my sleep for some trinket.
Nori Longbeard: right ... that was rather successful.
Bawbuthor : *takes a deep breath* Feels good to not have the pack straps so tight.
Nori Longbeard: This all mine?
Bawbuthor : nice
Stanley the Stout: yep
Nori Longbeard: Indeed.
Sequoia Wisetree: You bought a mine Nori?
Nori Longbeard: Lots of ale with this coin!
Bawbuthor : Worth carrying all that junk after all, it seems
Stanley the Stout: I split the bag Sequoia gave me between you too as well with that
Nori Longbeard: heh -- seems like I have one with all this gold!
Sequoia Wisetree: What? I gave the same bag to each of you.
Stanley the Stout: oh
Stanley the Stout: ah well not a big deal
Nori Longbeard: What do we need?
Sequoia Wisetree: What? Again?
Stanley the Stout: well I sold more stuff the ranger was carrying
Sequoia Wisetree: * sigh * Can we just dig a hole and put that in?
Bawbuthor : shall I get one or two trail kits?
Sequoia Wisetree: Or we buy that cart with the ox.
Nori Longbeard: Those the cheap ones?
Bawbuthor : Yeah, I can use the cheap ones.
Nori Longbeard: Could use some -- I have coins if you need?
Bawbuthor : I bought one kit.
Stanley the Stout: you remember to get the woodland one?
Bawbuthor : Yes, one is all I bought.
Nori Longbeard: ok -- just realized I can't even pack one -- strange isn't it?
Sequoia Wisetree: We need to do that thing for the spirit... right?
Bawbuthor : should we look into those ghostly adventurers?
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah that would be inbteresting I think.
Nori Longbeard: News to me -- but I'm game.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's go back to the bugbears it's probably shorter.
Nori Longbeard: wonder if we could capture that bear -- do you think?
Sequoia Wisetree: The bear does not have a treasure.
Bawbuthor : My skill with animals won't be enough to convince it to come willingly.
Nori Longbeard: No, but he would be good in a fight.
Stanley the Stout: I don't see any profit in hunting a bear
Nori Longbeard: Can you do it Sequoia?
Sequoia Wisetree: Walk talk to a bear? No way. I can shoot it.
Stanley the Stout: We still have that mission for the elven ghost
Bawbuthor : Lets go see about those adventurers, then check into this ooloni gate place.
Stanley the Stout: what adventurers?
Nori Longbeard: ah -- no need for that -- I thought you might have a way with the wild life.
Sequoia Wisetree: Those who have statues made after them.
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Stanley the Stout: Not sure that's such a good idea
Nori Longbeard: They are turned into statues? Sounds like a gorgon or some such.
Nori Longbeard: Can we deal with one of those?
Stanley the Stout: No there were statues of them; we saw them later elsewhere
Nori Longbeard: oh!
Sequoia Wisetree: We use a chole point and we put them to rest forever this time.
Stanley the Stout: hmm, easier said then done
Sequoia Wisetree: Wait, how many skeletons did we "take" last time?
Sequoia Wisetree: At least 30 I think.
Sequoia Wisetree: This way I guess.
Bawbuthor : Looks familiar, sort of.
Sequoia Wisetree: And we should see some dead ones below.
Bawbuthor : oh yes.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah listen... The river is near.
Nori Longbeard: Indeed
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's make a good plan.
Sequoia Wisetree: This way
Sequoia Wisetree: This way
Stanley the Stout: wait back there
Stanley the Stout: let me take a look
Sequoia Wisetree: * look around *
Sequoia Wisetree: Five of them.
Nori Longbeard: These are statues -- but they look real.
Amendir Englen:
Amendir Englen:
Sequoia Wisetree: Archer
Amendir Englen:
Sequoia Wisetree: One with short sword.
Sequoia Wisetree: Priestess may be.
Sequoia Wisetree: Mage?
Sequoia Wisetree: Another archer.
Stanley the Stout: welp five statues, five heroes, one of each.
Nori Longbeard: Very strange -- why would they be here? And what is this fountain?
Sequoia Wisetree: Fountain had potions in there. Not sure why.
Nori Longbeard: And underground trees ... who would have thought?
Stanley the Stout: Any bright ideas for a plan?
Sequoia Wisetree: So how do we do this? Stop those casting spells or those shooters?
Nori Longbeard: What are we up against?
Bawbuthor : spell casters, first.
Sequoia Wisetree: I mean we can choose who we try to kill first, no?
Nori Longbeard: These statues?
Sequoia Wisetree: Or we lure them one or two at a time.
Stanley the Stout: We might be able to draw the warriors away from the others.
Sequoia Wisetree: No the people on the other side they look like them exactly.
Bawbuthor : Nori and I can stand at the path, limiting us to hand fighting two or three. but the spellcasters will be a problem.
Nori Longbeard: Really? Wonder if there is a connection?
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan and i can shoot him or them.
Stanley the Stout: I'd think it wiser for you to wait at a corner so the archers and spellcasters can't target you at a distance.
Bawbuthor : anyone want to try talking to them?
Stanley the Stout: Set up in the cavern leading up to the bugbears
Bawbuthor : Okay, maybe lure them here?
Nori Longbeard: What if we bust up these statues?
Sequoia Wisetree: I wanted to but they did not look friendly at all.
Stanley the Stout: Prefer to have a line of retreat
Sequoia Wisetree: We can hold them here.
Bawbuthor : *nods* good idea, Stan.
Nori Longbeard: Prefer to have a path for retreat.
Sequoia Wisetree: The river is the retreat.
Stanley the Stout: I prefer the bugbears route as we just cleared that and know it's still clear if we need to fall back.
Nori Longbeard: right.
Sequoia Wisetree: Come back
Sequoia Wisetree: Nori hold here
Stanley the Stout: form up in the next cavern
Nori Longbeard: here ... got it.
Bawbuthor : Shoot them from here, duck behind the rocks and face them here.
Sequoia Wisetree: human!
Stanley the Stout: um...
Sequoia Wisetree: You cannot retreat here go with Nori.
Stanley the Stout: you can retreat from here
Nori Longbeard: are they coming?
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Sequoia Wisetree: no Stan and I ned to tease them first
Nori Longbeard: right.
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * Stan?
Bawbuthor : *waits with his claymore ready*
Stanley the Stout: go get ready
Nori Longbeard: Nice long weapon -- good reach.
Bawbuthor : Yeah, magical too.
Sequoia Wisetree: Fallback behind Nori.
Nori Longbeard: good -- might need it.
Gledia Wefner: *Prepare for your last fight*
Nori Longbeard: something happening...
Sequoia Wisetree: One down!
Nori Longbeard: one down.
Sequoia Wisetree: TWO
Nori Longbeard: aye.
Nori Longbeard: last words.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's finish them.
Stanley the Stout: not sure what he's doing
Sequoia Wisetree: COME ON
Amendir Englen:
Sequoia Wisetree: We have to go to them.
Amendir Englen:
Nori Longbeard: oh
Bawbuthor : Oh, okay
Nori Longbeard: too late
Sequoia Wisetree: Big Chest
Nori Longbeard: That all of them?
Bawbuthor : *looks at the statues*
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan, big chest for you to play with.
Nori Longbeard: Be careful.
Sequoia Wisetree: * examine two dead bodies *
Stanley the Stout: a few items
Stanley the Stout: a few gems and a little gold
Nori Longbeard: Check out the chest above.
Sequoia Wisetree: no bow?
Nori Longbeard: Broken?
Stanley the Stout: a few potions and a scroll
Nori Longbeard: Nice glove for you ther Bawbuthor.
Bawbuthor : the gauntlets look nice.
Nori Longbeard: Good selection of weapons as well.
Sequoia Wisetree: and the rest are plain items.
Stanley the Stout: picked another book like that one
Bawbuthor : anyone mind if I use the gauntlets?
Stanley the Stout: as well as another one of those eye devices
Stanley the Stout: help yourself
Sequoia Wisetree: Not even a bow.
Sequoia Wisetree: The rapier is good,
Sequoia Wisetree: Prety sharp
Nori Longbeard: Nothing here that I need.
Bawbuthor : *takes off the bracers he had on, putting them on the ground*
Stanley the Stout: and found this tablet on one
Sequoia Wisetree: Nice outfit
Nori Longbeard: Interesting.
Bawbuthor : I guess I'll pack up the armor and weapons.
Sequoia Wisetree: I can use the rapier.
Stanley the Stout: take what you want
Stanley the Stout: we'll pack and sell the rest
Sequoia Wisetree: I am not sure about the devices. What to do with them. May be we need to keep them.
Bawbuthor : thanks
Sequoia Wisetree: There is a scroll in the book
Sequoia Wisetree: and some spell inside the bracers.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : We can check on that oteri gate, or the vault around the corner.
Nori Longbeard: I'm curious as to why those statues were there.
Bawbuthor : I think the oteri gate might have some answers regarding emyn uail.
Nori Longbeard: Might.
Stanley the Stout: anyone want it?
Stanley the Stout: If not maybe worth some gold
Nori Longbeard: sell it.
Bawbuthor : Sell it, once we get back.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Stanley the Stout: Did we check that vault before?
Bawbuthor : I dont think so.
Sequoia Wisetree: Something or someone made these heroes come back but we have no clue who or why.
Nori Longbeard: Not I -- first time I've been here.
Bawbuthor : Maybe that tablet will help us get it open.
Stanley the Stout: Perhaps
Nori Longbeard: Some heroes -- they be dead now.
Bawbuthor : There is also some artifact we could try finding.
Sealed Rune-inscribed Vault Door: *A huge and solidly built Vault door is sealed with no sign of a key-hole or opening mechanism.*
Sequoia Wisetree: Thanks Nori.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Nori Longbeard: Not a problem.
Sealed Rune-inscribed Vault Door: *A huge and solidly built Vault door is sealed with no sign of a key-hole or opening mechanism.*
Bawbuthor : Can you get it opened?
Stanley the Stout: guess it's not a key to this
Bawbuthor : okay.
Stanley the Stout: *puts tablet away*
Sequoia Wisetree: so we can't open this?
Stanley the Stout: It would seem not.
Nori Longbeard: Do we even want to?
Sequoia Wisetree: * spit * Too bad.
Stanley the Stout: were there any other trails we overlooked?
Sequoia Wisetree: We still have a curse to lift, right?
Stanley the Stout: the elven ghosts mission
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah yes right
Stanley the Stout: back in that underground place
Bawbuthor : We could seek out that artifact, the one the goblins are searching forn.
Stanley the Stout: we started in on that and then pulled out
Sequoia Wisetree: Is there another place to explore?
Stanley the Stout: Didn't we cover all the sites the gobos were digging?
Nori Longbeard: The area to the south west of here -- you've explored it?
Nori Longbeard: Not sure we did all the goblin sites.
Stanley the Stout: We cleared these caverns earlier.
Bawbuthor : lets look through them again then
Stanley the Stout: Aside from the elven heroes we finished off just today.
Bawbuthor : Nori?
Sequoia Wisetree: NorI stop
Nori Longbeard: hmm -- not just statues it seems
Sequoia Wisetree: We lifted this curse and now?
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's go!
Stanley the Stout: weapons do nothing to them
Bawbuthor : run
Nori Longbeard: stupid.
Sequoia Wisetree: Not very wise!
Sequoia Wisetree: RUN
Stanley the Stout: nori RUN
Bawbuthor : Over here, nori
Sequoia Wisetree: What's going on? Where are they?
Sequoia Wisetree: * catching breath *
Bawbuthor : Nori is talking to the statues.
Sequoia Wisetree: Talking?
Bawbuthor : i dunno, some dwarven thing, I think.
Sequoia Wisetree: Nori you animated that statue?
Nori Longbeard: Not sure what happened there.
Sequoia Wisetree: where is Stan?
Stanley the Stout: Only area I've not looked over is along the northern edge of this forest.
Sequoia Wisetree: Shall we check that?
Stanley the Stout: right
Bawbuthor : *nods*
Sequoia Wisetree: Let us scout first please.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: * w * soider
Nori Longbeard: Scout? We've already been here.
Sequoia Wisetree: Spider!
Stanley the Stout: spider to the south
Bawbuthor : sword and gem, same as the other one
Sequoia Wisetree: * w* Prayers?
Stanley the Stout: nothing
Sequoia Wisetree: We must have killed them all.
Bawbuthor : what was in this cave?
Nori Longbeard: hmm -- excavation sites are just camps it seems.
Nori Longbeard: did we get anything from them?
Sequoia Wisetree: All clear.
Nori Longbeard: What are they digging up?
Stanley the Stout: *leans against rock and waits*
Stanley the Stout: If there were any survivors, they've cleared out.
Nori Longbeard: aye -- was thinking we could enter the excavations -- but seems unlikely.
Nori Longbeard: Curious -- like those statues below.
Stanley the Stout: Na, gobo's just did some superficial digging
Nori Longbeard: But what were they looking for?
Nori Longbeard: Too many things not adding up.
Stanley the Stout: Some items of power.
Bawbuthor : We should sell the stuff we dont want and look into the Otheri gate.
Stanley the Stout: Right
Nori Longbeard: And did they find it?
Sequoia Wisetree: We're ging to Minas Morn?
Stanley the Stout: I think we recovered what they did manage to find.
Nori Longbeard: Oh? And what was that?
Bawbuthor : I have a few papers, *sets them down*
Stanley the Stout: Don't remember.
Stanley the Stout: We get some, sold some.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Nori Longbeard: "black head this time"?
Sequoia Wisetree: Hm
Sequoia Wisetree: Not sure what to think.
Stanley the Stout: those are the other gobo scraps I picked up
Bawbuthor : are any of these worth keeping/
Stanley the Stout: suggest we head back, we can consider options after we sell and resupply
Nori Longbeard: Armor! Have we found it?
Bawbuthor : *shakes head* No, Nori, not yet.
Bawbuthor : to the Inn.
Stanley the Stout: *nods*
Nori Longbeard: hmmm ... missing something.
Bawbuthor : we should hang onto the tablet

Bawbuthor: i dunno, dont you have one?
Sequoia Wisetree: No
Bawbuthor: Wanna trade?
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure for what?
Bawbuthor: for your bow.
Sequoia Wisetree: This?
Bawbuthor: I'll give you the better one, I prefer this claymore I picked up.
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah fit an archer nicely.
Stanley the Stout: So...
Bawbuthor : I don't remember where i got it, but I have had it a long time.
Stanley the Stout: What's the plan?
Sequoia Wisetree: Minas Morgh?
Sequoia Wisetree: Or whatever it's called.
Stanley the Stout: Seems to be the only option, short of hunting other paths we might have missed.
Bawbuthor : Minas Morn, or seek out a big bear.
Sequoia Wisetree: Or shoot a bear and buy a beer?
Sequoia Wisetree: I found it.
Stanley the Stout: Did that witch have any work?
Stanley the Stout: *scratches head*
Sequoia Wisetree: Ask her. She gave me a trinket I gave to one of you.
Bawbuthor : *shrugs* we can ask again.
Stanley the Stout: Mebbe we should go pay her a visit?
Bawbuthor : Just across the road.
Stanley the Stout: Yeah let's go see her first.
Nori Longbeard: How about a rest first?
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure
Bawbuthor : there went my one kit, but I was tired.

Sequoia Wisetree: There she is.
Stanley the Stout: lets wait for the others
Nori Longbeard: I have some gold -- two bags of it -- can't recall if it is mine or the party's?
Bawbuthor : yours, we split last time

Stanley the Stout: How are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: You have nothing to interest the Outwood Witch. Perhaps something of Dagnir... You may go.
Bawbuthor : I have something from dagnir
Nori Longbeard: What is she babbling about?
Sequoia Wisetree: She doesn't like hobbits may be.
Manadh Luth Randir: Suilannad... mae govannen saian luume',,, *it is a pleasure to meet you...*
Stanley the Stout: you try talking to her
Bawbuthor: ...hello. Who are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: Come, you may visit me.

Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Sequoia Wisetree: Wait
Manadh Luth Randir: Suilannad... mae govannen saian luume',,, *it is a pleasure to meet you...*
Sequoia Wisetree: ...hello. Who are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: Come, you may visit me.
Sequoia Wisetree: How are you?
Manadh Luth Randir: You have nothing to interest the Outwood Witch. Perhaps something of Dagnir... You may go.
Nori Longbeard: She seems to want something.
Stanley the Stout: Give the coin to the elf mebbe?
Nori Longbeard: What is this Dagnir she speaks of?
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey we don't know waht she is after better move on.
Stanley the Stout: Give it to him
Nori Longbeard: Oh? Where did you get it?
Bawbuthor : Show her that.
You may go.
Bawbuthor : I've had it since when we first went in the cave,
Sequoia Wisetree: You don't like this coin Madam?
Stanley the Stout: Right, lets go then.
Nori Longbeard: Perhaps we left something behind -- or sold it?
Stanley the Stout: could be

Sequoia Wisetree: Blood
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan the bear is ahead
Bawbuthor : I hear it.
Bawbuthor : No, wait, that's Nori.
Stanley the Stout: well we don't wanna mess with him.
Nori Longbeard: As do I.
Nori Longbeard: eh? Ho HO!
Sequoia Wisetree: Well if you promise...
Bawbuthor : damned wolves
Bawbuthor : can you give me a light spell, Nori?
Sequoia Wisetree: So we kill the things down here?
Nori Longbeard: That may help.

Stanley the Stout: *w* three guardians ahead and more beyond
Bawbuthor : thanks
Sequoia Wisetree: THREE
Stanley the Stout: might wanna back up
Stanley the Stout: fight them at the door
Nori Longbeard: oh?
Bawbuthor : three
Sequoia Wisetree: Yes
Stanley the Stout: I'll draw them over
Stanley the Stout: wait back there
Stanley the Stout: *sighs*
Sequoia Wisetree: TWO
Bawbuthor : I found some magic bots
Bawbuthor : boots
Stanley the Stout: 2 mre ahead
Sequoia Wisetree: Back to the door?
Bawbuthor : magic flail and shield.
Sequoia Wisetree: I can lure them
Sequoia Wisetree: Oh trap

Bawbuthor : what the heck
Sequoia Wisetree: Hey look here!
Stanley the Stout: magical flail and shield
Sequoia Wisetree: A passage
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan?
Bawbuthor : can you tell what they do?
Stanley the Stout: yeah minor charms
Sequoia Wisetree: Hold
Nori Longbeard: Good eye Sequoia
Sequoia Wisetree: CLEAR!
Sequoia Wisetree: Some potions and a table.
Nori Longbeard: Is it a trap or an ambush you think?
Sequoia Wisetree: Stan can you check for traps? Where is he?
Sequoia Wisetree: * sigh *
Stanley the Stout: Where did they run off to?
Stanley the Stout: *looks around*
Bawbuthor : *shrugs*
Bawbuthor : door over here
Nori Longbeard: Hobbits ... always in a world of their own.
Sequoia Wisetree: Any ale Nori?
Sequoia Wisetree: At last
Stanley the Stout: um...
Nori Longbeard: None *frowns*
Sequoia Wisetree: So?
Bawbuthor : can you move forward, I'm standing on a rock'
Sequoia Wisetree: Green juice
Stanley the Stout: a blade some bold and a note here
Bawbuthor : not much here, i'm heading back up.
Sequoia Wisetree: Well we at least should collect the drinks.
Nori Longbeard: Grab those potions.
Stanley the Stout: warriors should get the healing potions
Sequoia Wisetree: There was a trap here... The wolf took care of that.
Stanley the Stout: a blade on the table seems good against these golem things.
Nori Longbeard: ah wondered what happened to him.
Bawbuthor : I can use it.
Sequoia Wisetree: HELLO
Stanley the Stout: um let's not open doors till everyone's ready?
Sequoia Wisetree: Study room?
Bawbuthor : some kind of torture chamber...
Bawbuthor : for golems
Nori Longbeard: scrap yard?
Bawbuthor : *looks around the room*
Stanley the Stout: book on golems here as well
Nori Longbeard: Doesn't surprise me.
Sequoia Wisetree: Golem?
Bawbuthor : ooh stuff in here.
Bawbuthor : *takes one potion*
Nori Longbeard: Can we build one and control it ya think?
Bawbuthor : *shivers*
Bawbuthor : not I
Stanley the Stout: yeah, not wanna mess with'm
Sequoia Wisetree: The levers are stuck.
Nori Longbeard: Enough stuff lying about ... a book ... only need an arcane artist. *frowns*
Nori Longbeard: Bah -- they be mindless anyway.
Stanley the Stout: TRAP
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Sequoia Wisetree: I cannot read the book yet.
Stanley the Stout: clear
Stanley the Stout: unlocked
Stanley the Stout: everyone ready?
Nori Longbeard: aye
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah
Bawbuthor : I can barely see, but ready'
Sequoia Wisetree: Girl!
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Bawbuthor : Girl?
Stanley the Stout: we might wanna look elsewhere first
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah
Bawbuthor : Human, girl?
Nori Longbeard: Bring them on!
Stanley the Stout: several beasts in there.
Sequoia Wisetree: That door?
Nori Longbeard: Fight 'em here.
Stanley the Stout: well if you want....
Bawbuthor : hey, I like girls with.... beasts?
Bawbuthor : ugh
Stanley the Stout: TRAP
Nori Longbeard: bugger
Stanley the Stout: don't move
Sequoia Wisetree: TRAPS
Bawbuthor : yeow
Stanley the Stout: and do you listen?
Sequoia Wisetree: HOLD
Nori Longbeard: traps everywhere.
Nori Longbeard: no problem mate.
Sequoia Wisetree: A door here...
Bawbuthor : Keep an eye out for more doors in the floor.
Sequoia Wisetree: A bridge and a big door.
Stanley the Stout: trap on that door
Sequoia Wisetree: Pick your poison
Stanley the Stout: beyond my skills
Nori Longbeard: oh?
Bawbuthor : Bridge then
Bawbuthor : Traps?
Stanley the Stout: think we should go back and check the door we passed
Stanley the Stout: before we press further on here
Sequoia Wisetree: Agree
Stanley the Stout: TRAP
Stanley the Stout: *examines*
Bawbuthor : *backs up*
Nori Longbeard: Good eye there Stanley
Nori Longbeard: Nice touch too!
Stanley the Stout: ok clear and unlocked
Stanley the Stout: store room
Bawbuthor : *looks in some of the crates*
Sequoia Wisetree: Interesting
Stanley the Stout: healing potions for warriors
Nori Longbeard: Locked and trapped -- must be some good stuff stored here eh?
Sequoia Wisetree: Who likes a drink?
Nori Longbeard: *shrugs*
Nori Longbeard: No idea.
Bawbuthor : thanks
Nori Longbeard: ah thanks for that Sequoia!
Sequoia Wisetree: The shield makes a nice souvenir.
Nori Longbeard: I'll save it fer an emergency.
Stanley the Stout: thats the blade I mentioned
Sequoia Wisetree: blade?
Nori Longbeard: I have Red one like it.
Bawbuthor : oh.
Stanley the Stout: good vs golems
Bawbuthor : I see.
Sequoia Wisetree: I can carry that shield but after no more.
Bawbuthor : Seems like a hammer would be just as good.
Stanley the Stout: Well if you dont want it, I can sell it.
Nori Longbeard: I can pack it.
Sequoia Wisetree: What kind of sword?
Stanley the Stout: where'd that helm come from?
Bawbuthor : what's the helm do?
Sequoia Wisetree: Did you say sword? The crate over there.
Sequoia Wisetree: Can I see the aword?
Stanley the Stout: a rapier I picked up off the table
Sequoia Wisetree: I like rapiers sometimes
Bawbuthor : *digs the sword out of a pack8
Stanley the Stout: That helm looks like the one that supposed to control golems, according to the notes we found.
Bawbuthor : I dont think its of much use for anything
Nori Longbeard: hmm ... now that we've gone and busted them all up.
Stanley the Stout: hmm
Sequoia Wisetree: Mine is better
Stanley the Stout: Seems interesting
Bawbuthor : Do you want it back?
Nori Longbeard: You controling anything Stan?
Sequoia Wisetree: I can carry them
Stanley the Stout: Not so far
Bawbuthor : Do you want the sword back?
Sequoia Wisetree: IF you want to use mine then keep it.
Stanley the Stout: found bracers on that woman
Stanley the Stout: mebbe someone can use them?
Bawbuthor : I was going to use the other one, but it seemed like you wanted it.
Sequoia Wisetree: bracers like what?
Stanley the Stout: *points*
Sequoia Wisetree: I just don't want these wasted
Nori Longbeard: Not I.
Bawbuthor : not I
Stanley the Stout: If not, can sell them later
Stanley the Stout: going... going...
Sequoia Wisetree: You cannot fight with gold.
Stanley the Stout: gone
Bawbuthor : What does the helm do?
Stanley the Stout: Lets continue
Stanley the Stout: Not sure yet
Bawbuthor : okay, onward
Sequoia Wisetree: Really so why are you wearing it?
Bawbuthor : any hidden doors in there?
Stanley the Stout: allows me to see better in the dark
Bawbuthor : *nods* Nice.
Nori Longbeard: OH? That seems useful.

Stanley the Stout: creatue ahead
Nori Longbeard: Control it Stan.
Bawbuthor : maybe it can open the door.
Stanley the Stout: Is it hostile to you?
Sequoia Wisetree: No not yet
Stanley the Stout: He seems ok to me
Bawbuthor : No.
Nori Longbeard: Doesn't seem to be.
Stanley the Stout: There's a trap door
Nori Longbeard: Don't take that helm off.
Stanley the Stout: Right
Bawbuthor : stan, stay up here,
Stanley the Stout: Go thru the trap door then I'll follow
Sequoia Wisetree: Wat for Stan
Sequoia Wisetree: Don't go trigger traps fool
Nori Longbeard: Big guy can't climb down here...
Nori Longbeard: Best let Stan go back up first eh?
Bawbuthor : You practically pushed me out of the way, and I'm the fool thats going to set off a trap. *looks accusingly at Sequia*
Stanley the Stout: warrior take the potions here
Sequoia Wisetree: Me?
Sequoia Wisetree: Anything?
Bawbuthor : Nori, how are you on potions?
Nori Longbeard: I'm ok -- thanks.
Stanley the Stout: Take the mace dwarf
Nori Longbeard: You don't want that STan? I have a hammer.
Stanley the Stout: good against contructs
Stanley the Stout: I don't fight in hand to hand.
Sequoia Wisetree: Ah these are special arrows.
Nori Longbeard: ok thanks.
Stanley the Stout: RIght use them at the right time.
Bawbuthor : I'm looking for a new weapon, I can carry it if no one else wants to.
Nori Longbeard: Bawbuthor you want that mace?
Bawbuthor : it doesn't look like much fire.
Stanley the Stout: Lets go back
Stanley the Stout: That's all there is here
Bawbuthor : Not a big deal, nori
Nori Longbeard: I won't use it.
Bawbuthor : i probably will
Nori Longbeard: Good.
Stanley the Stout: Nore the mace is better than your hammer
Nori Longbeard: I like hammers -- I like BIG things.
Stanley the Stout: well when you face this guardian you need the best weapon.
Bawbuthor : I want to be across that bridge, in case this things takes it down with it.
Stanley the Stout: you two go on and I'll come after
Sequoia Wisetree: Bad news
Nori Longbeard: And now our warrior has it.
Sequoia Wisetree: The trap on the door is permanent and only a strong one can move it.
Nori Longbeard: Bad news?
Sequoia Wisetree: So Nori or ....
Sequoia Wisetree: What?
Nori Longbeard: Now what.

Sequoia Wisetree: What madness?
Stanley the Stout: helmet failed I gues
Bawbuthor : what happened?
Nori Longbeard: Is it after you Stan?
Sequoia Wisetree: OPen that door
Stanley the Stout: yes
Nori Longbeard: or is it following?
Sequoia Wisetree: Get the bi door
Bawbuthor : ugh
Nori Longbeard: what is going on?
Stanley the Stout: EVERYONE TO ME
Sequoia Wisetree: May be they want to die.
Nori Longbeard: Why did you close the door?
Stanley the Stout: HELP
Nori Longbeard: damn
Sequoia Wisetree: HELP

Bawbuthor : whew, thought I was alone there.
Nori Longbeard: So, what happened?
Sequoia Wisetree: Happy?
Bawbuthor : that thing was chasing Stan.
Stanley the Stout: I tried to activate the helm
Stanley the Stout: it made it angry
Bawbuthor : didn't you hear him say that.
Stanley the Stout: thought maybe we could use the beast to smash the door open
Nori Longbeard: Need to go back and get more healing kits -- all out now.
Bawbuthor : I need some better armor.
Sequoia Wisetree: Now can you explain that to me. You don't fear such machine yet yoy're scared by a large bear?
Sequoia Wisetree: * you are not scared
Stanley the Stout: No profit in killing a bear
Stanley the Stout: There's treasure around here
Stanley the Stout: this was in the way of that
Sequoia Wisetree: No? Except the gold we get and the fur that is valuable
Stanley the Stout: anyway
Bawbuthor : what about the secret arms stash somewhere around here.
Stanley the Stout: We got those already
Stanley the Stout: thats what the mace, rapier, bolts and arrows are.
Sequoia Wisetree: Please open that gate
Stanley the Stout: Is it still trapped?
Bawbuthor : Now what?
Sequoia Wisetree: Told you it's permanent
Stanley the Stout: Well I can't disarm it.
Nori Longbeard: I think back for supplies.
Sequoia Wisetree: And only the stronguest can open it.
Stanley the Stout: *checks supplies*
Nori Longbeard: Strongest?
Sequoia Wisetree: Yeah could not it's too heavy
Nori Longbeard: What is too heavy?
Sequoia Wisetree: The bloody trapped door
Nori Longbeard: And what did the trap do?
Sequoia Wisetree: Er tried to stun me
Stanley the Stout: sonic
Nori Longbeard: well, let's see about this.
Sequoia Wisetree: Like I dso with my fists
Bawbuthor : You okay?
Nori Longbeard: ok stunned me -- nothing about strength though -- just a trap.
Sequoia Wisetree: Can't open it?
Stanley the Stout: Priest you have magic for traps no?
Sequoia Wisetree: No it;'s still closed don't you see.
Nori Longbeard: I can pray for it yes.
Stanley the Stout: That seems to be our only option at this point
Nori Longbeard: I would like to get more heal kits.
Bawbuthor : They look big, even for me.
Sequoia Wisetree: Unless we are sure we can go back to see the dead knight.
Stanley the Stout: Pretty sure we need to pass those doors to deal with guardian and whatever.
Bawbuthor : Are we done here?
Nori Longbeard: Until we resupply, I think so.
Sequoia Wisetree: Not if this is the exit of this crypt.
Stanley the Stout: Very well, let's go back then.
Sequoia Wisetree: I mean tower.
Nori Longbeard: No hidden trap doors in this room?
Stanley the Stout: Haven't seen any other secret doors
Nori Longbeard: We get all the loot?
Nori Longbeard: I'm thinking we needed that golem to open that door.
Bawbuthor : *nods* me too.
Sequoia Wisetree: Or blast the door
Nori Longbeard: What was over here?
Nori Longbeard: Did we ever go this way?
Bawbuthor : *looks around*
Nori Longbeard: empty space ...
Bawbuthor : nothing.
Stanley the Stout: We looked around there first time we were here.
Nori Longbeard: ok guess we are done.
Sequoia Wisetree: But we can't reach the mountain unless we get that door oepend.
Sequoia Wisetree: * opened
Nori Longbeard: Think we'll need to find another way.
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*
Stanley the Stout: might have to just give up

Sequoia Wisetree: * wash face in the clear stream *
Nori Longbeard: What did you do to make the thing atack you Stan -- it never seemed to go hostile to me until I attacked it.
Stanley the Stout: I tried to activate the helm.
Stanley the Stout: thought that might allow me to control it.
Nori Longbeard: oh? Interesting.
Bawbuthor : did you activate it the first time?
Stanley the Stout: but it only made it angry
Stanley the Stout: nope
Nori Longbeard: I thought it was the reason it was friendly!
Stanley the Stout: just put it on
Bawbuthor : I was thinking you should have stayed up top with it.
Stanley the Stout: moot now
Sequoia Wisetree: Sure you're the one who should wear it?
Stanley the Stout: *shrugs*

Nori Longbeard: I've got that blue shield ... who be our seller?
Stanley the Stout: doesn't really matter
Kelio, The Traveling Merchant: It's fortunate I came along! It is a true mess inside. The Inn will need to be closed for quite a while, I imagine. Is there something I can help you with?
Nori Longbeard: Yes, do you have anything for sale that might make us stronger?
Nori Longbeard: 176 coins.
Sequoia Wisetree: I grow tired of all this.
Stanley the Stout: dont sell the construct weapons, you'll need those against the guardian, if we get in.
Sequoia Wisetree: We just end up here all the time.
Sequoia Wisetree: After the first snow we may have to wait for Spring.
Nori Longbeard: great -- got 16 Heal kits.
Nori Longbeard: Shall I get a spell for traps yo think?
Bawbuthor : here's your share
Sequoia Wisetree: And the sword?
Bawbuthor : Oh, yeah, that was worth 500 gold
Sequoia Wisetree: Still the best blade I carry.
Harper Bendt: How is the bear hunt going?
Bawbuthor: Well enough...
Stanley the Stout: So...
Stanley the Stout: We see if the priest can pray the trap away?
Sequoia Wisetree: What?
Sequoia Wisetree: Can I rent a chest?
Nori Longbeard: Not sure what to think .. can do that but not sure we can open the door.
Stanley the Stout: If you can bless Baw with strength, mebbe he can open the door?
Bawbuthor : I can try, rip the doors right off the hinges. *grins*
Nori Longbeard: Baw got good Strength? I was pretty high and failed.
Bawbuthor : shall I set up camp?
Stanley the Stout: Did you bless yourself with strength?
Nori Longbeard: aye -- don't leave home without it.
Sequoia Wisetree: I left 7 bags of gold in chest market by an arrow
Nori Longbeard: heh -- now you tell me.
Stanley the Stout: Why not just convert them trade goods?
Sequoia Wisetree: No she did not let me.
Stanley the Stout: much lighter
Bawbuthor : *rests*
Stanley the Stout: priest might as well rest up
Sequoia Wisetree: Nobody got that bag?
Stanley the Stout: So, we try the priests prayers?
Nori Longbeard: ok -- I have aquired a spell to find and hopefully disarm traps.
Bawbuthor : Okay, I have another kit, we can camp on the road if need be.

Stanley the Stout: Let's give it a shot.
Nori Longbeard: We can arm wrestle to see who is strongest and I can boost their strength as well.
Sequoia Wisetree: Let Baw' try,
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's Stan try then he is a stout hobbit after all * smile *
Stanley the Stout: *shakes head*
Nori Longbeard: Perhaps we can break it down.
Sequoia Wisetree: * Look at the big closed gate * Or let's find something and blast it.
Stanley the Stout: *watches*
Sequoia Wisetree: Any luck?
Stanley the Stout: *nods* well done priest
Nori Longbeard: Seems to have gotten the trap.
Nori Longbeard: and viola!
Nori Longbeard: No strength required.

Sequoia Wisetree: HOLD
Sequoia Wisetree: THREE AHEAD
Bawbuthor : Three what?
Stanley the Stout: three guardians, helm does nothig to them
Nori Longbeard: Use the helm Stan.
Sequoia Wisetree: Check these
Sequoia Wisetree: THe flail!
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Stanley the Stout: I did
Nori Longbeard: undead?
Sequoia Wisetree: Let's lift the curse once for all.
Stanley the Stout: Enemy spotted
Sequoia Wisetree: Big One
Sequoia Wisetree: What we do?
Nori Longbeard: kill them here.
Sequoia Wisetree: If you say so.
Bawbuthor : *prepares the construct mace*
Stanley the Stout: stay here, let me look around first
Nori Longbeard: bring some over here Stan.
Nori Longbeard: No need getting them all stirred up.
Nori Longbeard: Hobbits...

Stanley the Stout: I, the Dark Lord, command you...
Stanley the Stout: to create an Army for me...
Stanley the Stout: in size and power capable of crushing all that defy me.

Sequoia Wisetree: We get the ghost first?
Nori Longbeard: is the damn thing blind?
Sequoia Wisetree: Two big ones!
Nori Longbeard: aye -- where is the hob?
Sequoia Wisetree: * whisper * Retreat
Bawbuthor : back up, nori
Nori Longbeard: Did they kill him already?
Nori Longbeard: It has been too long.
Sequoia Wisetree: We can't go down.
Nori Longbeard: We can't?

Sequoia Wisetree: Well
Stanley the Stout: there are 10 or more guardians of that size or bigger
Nori Longbeard: Stan -- you didn't bring any with you?
Sequoia Wisetree: You want to fight hundreds of these?
Nori Longbeard: That helm not working up to specs?
Stanley the Stout: They are patrolling all along the main halls
Stanley the Stout: the helm doesn't seem to have any connection with these.
Nori Longbeard: Can't do ten at once but one or two should be managable.
Stanley the Stout: I think it was just with that proto model.
