DM Friendly Campaign Modules

These campaign modules come with DM notes, DMFI DM tools and can be DMed live with no scripted PCs. Campaign modules usually take more than one session of play to complete.

Please help keep this list complete and up to date. Comments about the modules would also be a great help!

Thanks!
Arawen

Return to Torgan's Delve is a high-level campaign module (15th-20th level) set in the Underdark, including diverse and challenging quests set in a variety of areas. Here's the blurb from NWV:

Five years have passed since a band of heroes saved Thane Durgan of Torgan's Delve from a deadly curse and betrayal. But unbeknownst to the dwarves, a darker evil now stirs in the depths of the Underdark far under Torgan's Delve, an evil that will threaten not just the Delve, but far more... This module is a lengthy multiplayer campaign that I created as a sequel to my campaign series of modules that included 'Torgan's Delve,' 'Drums of War,' and 'Paths of Shadow.' While players who have adventured in Torgan's Delve before will gain more from the default plot in this module, no previous experience from that game is necessary to play. I created this module to be played in two hour sessions over a period of time; with good roleplaying the module should take anywhere from eight to twelve sessions to complete. This module uses the HABD custom bleeding/death ruleset and includes a complete DM's Guide to the module.

Announcement:

New versions of my campaign modules Torgan's Delve and Drums of War have been uploaded to Neverwinter Vault. The new versions require SoU and HotU and have been upgraded to include material from these expansions. The Drums of War update also implements the CEP.

Versions 2.0 of these mods include the following features:

  • New areas, with a new side-quest in Torgan's Delve and a greatly expanded city of Elturel in Drums of War.
  • HABD bleeding/death system and Supply-Based Rest (easily removed, if you prefer to use your own script sets).
  • DMFI 1.07 Wands and Widgets
  • Updated DM's Guide included with each module.

Get them here:

Drums of War 2.0: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1088813894000.shtml

Coming Soon: an update of Paths of Shadow, a high-level campaign for characters levels 12-15.

Okay, here's another one:

Legends of the Sword Coast, one of my campaign modules, is now available for download on the Vault. Legends is actually a compilation of several of my one-shot games, tied together in an isolated rural setting on the Sword Coast of Faerun. A complete DM's Guide is included with suggestions for running a campaign in this setting. Three hak packs by coulisfu are required (links are in the DM's Guide, and the haks are also available in a single ZIP on my Web site). The module requires both expansions, uses HABD and Supply-Based Rest, and is for levels 3-8.

If you would like to avoid the use of modules, and move a campaign into a FR based world. I have an offer for you. For over a year I have been developing a server that would allow a DM to bring in players (or utilize the playerbase) to run a weekly (or whatever interval) campaign.

I really hope that some folks take this idea into consideration. I've put alot of Dev time into this world for the purpose of supporting Campaigns.

Some quick features of server:
-Running 24/7 giving full access to all timezones.
-Large community base and widespread RP talents
-Full DMFI Support
-Regular module updates
-Voice server running along side with full support
-High end Business cable connection with speeds similar to a T1 (5mbps Down/2mbps up)
-Amazing server for visual and audio feel

Visit http://losw.co.nr for more information.

Soulflame, it's very kind of you to offer, but this thread was intended to be a reference list of downloadable campaign modules available to the public for any DM to use.

I believe that an advertisement such as yours for your server would better suit the PW, Server or DM Forum rather than this thread, so I would ask that you or a moderator please move it to a more appropriate spot.

Thank you!

You could add my "Muddles in Milton" to the list. It's a lot cleaner and has more scope than my "Soul Keep", having been made specifically for DMs as a sandbox, including an extensive DM guide.

The list is unfortunately quite out of date and incomplete, although some of the older modules would still work well.

For a more up-to-date list, I'd recommend people check out the DM-Friendly module categories on NWVault. There are a number of single mods which require multiple sessions to finish, as well as a a few multi-mod campaigns.
