Modules for DMs – Team Combat

These modules emphasize Team Combat. Though scripted, they come with DM documentation.

Feel free to add others and comment on these to help fellow DMs.

Thanks!

Arawen -- I'd actually put the Faerun Survival Course in the one-session module category, since it's only intended for one party to run through it. At least, that's my interpretation of the category, team vs. team play.

That reminds me that I'd been meaning to resurrect a sequel I did a while back, which was a mini-campaign featuring conflict between two parties.

On a more general note, thanks for your listings, they'll help me find additional quality modules to run -- when I have the time!

LTC Epic: Quest of the Avatars, is now available for download from Neverwinter Vault. Veterans of my various Team Challenge modules will recognize the style of play. Here's the promotional blurb:

This module is the latest in my Lazybones Team Challenge (LTC) series of PvP modules. These modules vary in style and objective, but they all involve competition between one or more teams to be the first to achieve a specific goal in the module. This version is the first to delve into the epic levels, and has players starting at 20th level with ample opportunity to gain levels in the course of the contest. Because of the time required to prepare a 20th level character, this version of LTC allows local-vault characters. However, all characters are stripped of items upon entering the game, and begin with the same allotment of gold to purchase equipment in the starting stores before the start of play. Play involves team of characters progressing through seven Challenge Areas to confront the Avatars of Forgotten Realms deities, who must be overcome in order to return powerful Artifacts to score. The first team to recover four Artifacts wins the Challenge. DM Guide is included.

The game can also be played solo, with a character of 25th level or so, although it wasn't primarily balanced for such play.

The Gates of Firestorm Peak
Team-based action module. Light on the roleplay, heavy on combat, medium traps.

An epic quest to save an old family member.
Has a custom DM tool for setting module-specific events (allowing the DM to possess scripted NPC's at ANY time), and adding journal entries.

Fully documented and scripted.

Just uploaded to the vault, but the DM Guide is still a work in progress. Lots of interesting fights, traps, and some earth-shattering death scenes.
