It's mostly fixed. One of my games disappeared though, but perhaps that's because there are no threads in that game's (new) forum?
The table fo the last game is still messed up, but I think it's because the HTML for the game's description is in conflict with the forum table's HTML. I'll check with the other DM.

Let me ask this... The game that is still missing. Are you a co-dm in it? And if so have you accepted the invite to it yet?

How do they look now? What you meant was:
Some show just: Today by Rizzen
Others show: Jan 15, 2:15pm by Rizzen
What you want to see is: Today at 2:15pm by Rizzen |
|
Yes, yes,yes - that's the ticket! It looks great and consistent, just like I like it!
- J' ai
EDIT - Those dang apostrophes!!

One more game disappeared. And these two meeting games I'm participating as a player, not a co-DM.

FalseProphet: 1) You haven't been kicked from it right? 2) You aren't an alternate right? 3) They aren't old and expired are they? Man this is a tough bug to find.

Rizzen, I emailed you with those screenshots, but all the forums came back now. The only problem that stands is the table messed up as shown in that screenshot.

The NWC site uses 64 x 128 because thats what Neverwinter Nights uses. The other forums use a different size because I did not build those forums and had no easy way of modifying them. The other forums will be going away shortly (read: in the next week). So 64x128 will be the standard from this point forward. These forums also do not require a seperate login unlike the others.

I was logged onto the new forum site, and made a post (the reply on the continual light) I then kept browsing, and wanted to make another post and found I didn't have the option. I went back to the main page, and I was not logged in. I had be previously. Once logged in, all seems back to normal.

Thats our cluster server screwing up. Next time it happens take a note of your URL line at the top of your browser and I bet it shows wwwX.rpgwarehouse.com rather than the normal URL. We are trying to find why it is doing this but we are at a loss.

Is there a way to NOT have a custom forum automatically created here when we create a game? I prefer for my players to post on the ongoing campaign thread in my forums, and they might get confused and instead post in the "temporary" thread for that game at the top of the forum list.

| No, there is no way. However, I am working on a few interesting things I think you might like. I am finally creating a "master campaign manager" that allows you to keep a list of invited people etc and move them to and from a game. So when moved to a game they are auto invited back etc. You will also be able to manage your own forum such as adding moderators and deciding who can and cannot read the forum/threads. I also want to make it so you can mark threads that will automatically appear in the game message board without having to move them... I am not sure you know this or not, however, you can "move" threads between any of your own forums. So if you have an ongoing thread for a specific campaign, you can "move" it to a game page... then move it back off to your campaign forum. Does that help? Sorry there is no way to turn of the game message boards right now.

Lazybones: By the way, Dungajin has accomplished and utilized the "move" feature for moving threads between game forums. I think it will be EXTREMELY useful for you campaign DM's.

Thanks. BTW, I tried that archiving program you recommended, unfortunately I cannot get it to operate properly (I get an error saying that no data is transferred). Oh well. Also, I just tried to post a message that included a hyperlink, and got an error message repeatedly. When I put a space in the link (i.e. "ht tp" ) I was able to get it to post.

Heh, thanks, it seemed to magically repair itself in mid-refresh and I thought I'd uncovered some new special forum-fu there for a second. Also: sorry to spam you with the notices, I always have to try something a few different ways to make sure it's really broken and not something I'm doing wrong.

One thing Rizzen... ... no "Server Configuration" forum? Was just going to post something there, to see if anyone knows how to help me config my damn server, but just noticed the forum is not there.
