You will see a post listed as 'today 9:11 PM' and a post that was JUST posted is stamped as 'today 12:54 PM' I suspect that the 'today 9:11 PM' is actually yesterday at 9:11 PM. Mogney |
| Yup, I posted somewhere about that. Based on just when yesterday something counts as being today -- I'm pretty sure the today is being determined off GMT time, not local time. You can confirm that by looking at posts yesterday, and seeing which hours are called Thursday, and which are called 'today'. I bet the crossover hour is GMT 0. Edit: *laughs* To confirm this further, when I edited a bolding problem on this post, I saw that it said "Last Edit: today at 7:31pm", but the post date is 1:31pm. So the edit commentary is also on GMT time.

I am going to address these bugs, however, I'm getting ready for a new job (3 month contract) and have been busy the last 4 days. I'm hoping things will settle down this week so that I can get back in to fixing these. Rizzen

Hi Rizzen! Hope the new job is going well! Now that we are 'bumped' to multiple pages for the forum: General Discussion(Moderators: Rizzen,Shinji,Gilaun) The page numbering looks 'off'. If I can recreate this in text, it looks like: Pages: 1 2______ Take a look. If you don't see it, I'll practice my screen shot skills and grab a still for ya! - J'Dai

In fact any options that would normally appear in the same place as the reply or new topic link are missing as well. If I completely close down my browser and come back to the forums they are there again. I haven't noticed a pattern, but I have been on three different computers and had the same problem. I'll try and see if there is something that I do each time that causes it, but so far no pattern noticed. Though one thing, I don't usually come directly to the forums, I browse the site first. Then come here. When I notice the links are gone, come straight here and they are there. This doesn't happen every time, it is ittermitant. Sorry if someone mentioned this already, I just didn't have time to read through five pages of bugs. If you want me to test anything, please send me a message and I'd be glad to do so. |
| I've seen that too. Take a look at the URL/address pane. For me, it happens when the 'cluster issue' raises its head, and I can tell because the URL says "rpgwarehouse" rather than "Neverwinterconnections". If that is the case for you - it's known and it's a bugger. If this is not the case, then we have a more serious issue here. - J'Dai

| Now I've noticed that the number at the TOP of that page looks as described above, but the bottom displays: Pages: 1 If it is supposed to display all pages, it's missing Page 2. If it's supposed to just name the page you are viewing, there's a typos (s/b Page: ). Nit-picky, I know, but I'd hate to have you think that I ever stop looking. *grins* - J'Dai

As far as I have noticed, it's confimed the forum page/s, as the thread pages look OK. Nit-picky, I know, but I'd hate to have you think that I ever stop looking. *grins* - J'Dai

Query: how do I change a thread title in a forum I have admin powers over? Changing the title of the first post (which I normally do on UBB boards) doesn't work.

(I know there is a post on this - from Elbast, I believe - and I cannot track it down.) All the Game threads show up in the Forums, but I cannot see all the threads on the Game Page itself. Specifically, the one that is missing was created from the Forums, rather than from the Game Page. This is the first time I have 'seen' this problem, though I know others have noted it. - J'Dai

Re: the above -- as the DM/campaign manager, if I post a new topic in a game forum directly (i.e. using the link on the forums page), nobody seems to be able to see it but me. If I post it from the game page, it works fine.

Very nice game managing system you have here. I was wondering if we could have the link to invite players to a game appear on application only games as well as invitation only games? I started a campaign using application only, worked real nice, but next week, I wanted to invite the players back, but the game wasn't full so I still wanted it to be application only. I managed to invite them, by creating an invite only game and coping the url and changing the game id. I was very happy that it worked but it would be nice to have a link for it instead of needing to copy and type a url. Or is there some other way to accomplish this that I have missed? Thanks. Col. Is there any way to set it up so that after you review a game, it no longer shows up as review required? Kind of like a self-confirming review page. i.e. Once you post the review, it would automatically update the counter or flag and remove that game from a member's 'to be reviewed' list. Just curious, Filchin P.s. excuse me if this topic has been covered.
