The people of the Sword Coast were declaring this a time of Peace and Prosperity. Cities grew careless without a threat to keep them inline. In a turn of events the Sages of Waterdeep revealed that a Great Shadow loomed over Faerun.

The Citizens of Waterdeep disregarded the Sages counsel, claiming they must have lost their minds. A time passed with no heeding of the Sages warnings. When a Great Storm hit the Sword Coast, lasting for days, considerable damage was sown across the Coast, but the true strife was yet to come. During the raging storm, a Tome had washed ashore near Baldur’s Gate. This Tome carrying most grave news indeed, The Final Prophecy of Alaundo. Fortelling the coming of an end. The last of the Bhaalspawn, the most powerful of all, and yet such a power remains a shadow to all.

The news of this has spread like wildfire throughout the Coast, the habitants of the Sword Coast were soon turned at each others throats as they believed none could be trusted. Cities are wary of each others armies, the Council of Six making hasty decisions to place outposts along the borders in ready for this Shadow. It seems during the storm creatures of ancient and most foul were awoken from their slumbers. The first chapter of Alaundo’s final prophecy is unfolding, The Sword Coast is thrown into Chaos.
