Remnants of Suell
Long ago, there was a large empire. It was successful and powerful, yet while the rich got richer, the poor got poorer, till there was no one in the middle. The knights, wizards, theifs even those who were in the order working for thier king, saw that the principles of what the king had held high for so long, and which had atracted them to the empire in the first place had been left in the dust for the life of priviliege and comforts, at the expense of the very people that most of them had come from.
A few malconents rose up and were immediately killed.....soon others were angry with this, as the atrocitys grew with each passing year....till there arose a secret underground rebellion and they were ready to strike back at the merciless king, and take back what was once the peoples all along.
But there was a traitor amongst them, and nearly 3/4th of the rebelion had been killed in an ambush. But the deed had been done, and the king had died in the assualt anyway. The remaining wizards, knights, clerics took control of the remaining army and began with a new empire. Thus the kingdom of Suell was born.
