Raised in a small farming village, Fredric lived a very simple ( and somewhat sheltered) life. It wasn't long, however, when peole started to notice his quik wit and sharp mind. His father scraped together what gold he could, even working doubly hard in the fields, to send his son to the next village to study from their wiseman. He picked up on the arcain like a second language.
