Decken left his lands after his best friend, Brendan, betrayed him. Brendan orchestrated a scheme to steal Decken’s bride to be, Trieste. A small group of orcs slipped past the local defender and raided the village. Decken was accused of leading the orcs, because of his adept scouting ability. Although no one was seriously hurt, Decken was exiled. With Decken out of the way, Brendan courted Trieste and married her. This incident warped Decken’s perspective of fairness in life. Now, he is out to make a name for himself. He goes to the highest bidder as a pure mercenary scout.
