Being exceptionally curious even for a Gnome (frequently to his detriment), Dezran's interest can easily be piqued by something as simple as a type of flower he's never seen or as complex as a murder investigation. He could also just as easily walk across a battlefield with his nose in a book and never notice that there is a battle raging around him. He does, however, still have some issues with the taller races. He was short as a child, and teased incessantly by his siblings for it, and has carried a bit of mistrust for tall creatures... Dwarves are generally accepted as well as Halflings (though they are a bit tall and therefore still suspect). Other taller races are considered somewhat inferior and thought to have their "heads in the clouds"...
