He's an idealist paladin, a masked hero of the countryside. He serves the common-folk, and defends them from evil-doers. He also gladly retrieves treasure from the unworthy and dispenses it to the downtrodden (you know the type). He's actually on a spiritual quest- he's in search of his yata, his ethereal self - who, according to him will only appear whenever he does good. Blue Max doesn't mind the nom de plum given to him by the simple-folk, but he's VERY sensitive about his blue skin. He's been known to run away in tears whenever he's asked about it.
