My name is Celia Cairnstone. I'm a simple woman, with a simple existence. Or at least, I was...
I was just a wee lass when I met Ronnie. *giggles* Okay, so it was last year, but it seems like a lifetime ago. He was so smart, so charming, so sweet *blush*. My parents warned me about those adventurers, but his stories were so amazing - the places, the journeys, the danger...
Ronnie would come down the road from the inn, and talk with me as I did my chores on the farm. His group was laid up, waiting on some wizard to finish some magic something-or-other. We spent long hours talking about the peaceful life of farming, and the exciting life of adventure.
He taught me a bit of his adventuring skills. He said I'm a natural. *blushes* I got pretty good with the sneaking, but the devices and traps were my favorite.
I convinced my parents to borrow money against the farm, so Ronnie and I could open a shop. With his tongue and my gift for the mechanical... *frowns*
But then he and his group just disappeared.. taking our money with them.
So with the training he left me, and a couple of gems I'd hidden in the barn that he'd given me as presents, I set off to find Ronnie, and see about getting my parents farm back...
