E'laqua E'luril
E'laqua is a rare breed of elf who has grown up under the watchful eye of the masters of Ravenlock Keep. He lived a life of hard work, study, and peace. At an early age, E'laqua found that the arcane powers seemed to flow through his very veins like a lifeblood, and he was irresistably drawn to it. He spent hours each day locked away in the library, poring over various tomes and scrolls that had once belonged to his mentor, the great Vall Woodshadow. E'laqua is an elf of great compassion and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will lay his life on the line, frail as his wizardly body is, to save the life of a friend. E'laqua was unfortunately forced out into the world before he was ready, after an attack on Ravenlock left it shattered. He lacks experience with the outside world, and may appear naive at times. It is his hope that what he has learned through books will help him survive the experiences ahead. Recently he has found himself in the city of Elturel, in the Western Heartlands. Help is needed here, and E'laqua would be the last to ignore that call.
The journey was off to a rocky start with the sudden and catastrophic death of two of our party. Fortunatley, our mighty Valhalla-seeking warrior woman was able to bring them back to us, safe and sound. Our work for a "poor robbed merchant" turned out to be chicanery of a kind most foul. Not all is as it seems, and E'laqua is prepared to pierce the veils of deception as best he can. Death has come to the village of Dunderion, and left nothing in its wake but fire and ashes. After finding a lone survivor, a young girl named Sera, the party set out in search of her family. The path was difficult and fraught with danger, but the heroes of Elturel finally succeeded, and found themselves pointed in the direction of an ancient crypt. Here they found items of great power, guarded by an ancient spirit. E'laqua managed to convince the spirit, at the cost of great pain, that their mission was just and true. With the spirit's consent, they divided up their newly acquired treasure and continued on their way...where will they end up next?
