A powerful looking, imposing figure. On first glance Kalek's size and obvious strength are apparent. On second glance it is his misshapen face, a bulbous, somewhat off center nose and bulging brows along with numerous scars make him truly ugly. Kalek appears to be perpetually unhappy, a smile rarely coming to his lips. Moderately reserved and sometimes given to black moods he nevertheless has a strong sense of right and wrong and a desire to protect what is good and beautiful in the world. Born after an Orc raid on his village, just east of Beregost, his mother gave him up to be raised by an order of monks of Deneir. His hatred of Orcs and their kin burns deep within him. His Orc tainted blood fuels his own self loathing. Upon reaching manhood he has taken odd jobs as a tavern bouncer, caravan guard and soldier. He continues to wander the lands alone, in search of a purpose. **Kalek met his end battling undead hordes that threatened the town of Timberton. At last he has found the peace he has long sought.**
