Laura Generen

Order of True Sight had a monastery on the outskirts of Hanin, which was itself on the edge of an expansive forest. When an elven band of merchants were waylaid by bandits fleeing Hanin, a handful of monks from the monastery assisted the merchants. One of the elven merchants was my mother and one of the monks was my father...shared crisis is often the bedrock of strong relationships.

I was raised at the monastery and when I was still of an early age, I began formal training. I always have and still do play the "good student". Throughout my childhood there was always the pressure of having a father at the order...I strove to better myself on my own will, but I often found myself looking forward to the time when I could leave the walls of the monestary and train without my father watching over my shoulder.

When I finally came of age, I set out on my own to further my training. All too soon I found that I needed the assistance of some like minded adventures. I joined a party that honestly did care about justice being served, but everyone had their own tertiary reasons for adventuring. I even picked up a few "tricks" from Hafan, the rogue in our group, that were never taught at the order.

This takes me to the point where our party was abushed in an old dwarven mine while exploring rumors of an evil cult threatening a town. Some fell in battle...others were captured....
