Alexandra's elven mother had an affair with a human. When her mother's husband found out he forced them apart. When Alex was born he deceived her mother and told her that the baby had died. He sent Alex to her human father, saying that her mother wanted nothing more to do with either of them. He told her mother that her lover had abandoned her.
Alex grew up with her father, believing that her mother had rejected her, though knowing that her father still missed her mother. Her father was a rogue and taught her some rogue skills. He died in a bar brawl when she was 12, when he was caught cheating at cards.
Alex was looked after by a friend of her fathers, the local blacksmith. When she was 16 he found out about the illegal activities of a nearby gang and threatened to expose them. They murdered him. Alex tracked down and killed them all, then was forced to flee the city.
She tried many different vocations, but it wasn't until she met and trained with a female ranger of Mielikki, that she felt she had found her niche and also her faith.
Alex feels the need to prove herself,she is fierce in battle. She hides her emotions, but is devoted to those who earn her trust. Has inherited some roguish tendencies from her father. She is devoted to her goddess. She has a curiousity about her elven heritage, but is hesitant to approach any elves remembering her mother's "rejection". She would do anything to destroy evil and to protect the woods and the wilderness.
Cali (panther) is her animal companion, she rescued her from a hunter's trap when she was just a baby, and they are very close.
