Bio:

Misty had a very sickly but mischevous sister, Brooke. They would play for hours, but most of their games were storytelling and make-believe, because of Brooke's condition.

As they grew older, Misty became very protective of her sister. She tried to entertain Brooke, and cheer her up on the days she was bedridden. While her sister slept, she'd sneak out into the forest, and down by the river, and out to the road. She would look for humans, and watch what they did, and listen to their stories. She would share all of this with Brooke, and they would incorporate the stories into their grand imaginary adventures.

Brooke died when Misty turned 17. Misty continued to speak with her sister, believing Brooke was always close and looking out for her, just as she used to watch over Brooke.

As much as she loves her parents, their house held too many sad memories of her departed sister. Misty wanted to go see the places she and Brooke used to talk about in their stories, and relive happy memories, and thereby honor her sister.

Along the way, Misty became aware of her innate magical talents. Upon realizing she had the Gift, she sought the advice of a travelling wizard. He never gave his name, but mentioned he was affiliated with a University. He also told her to seek her One.

Misty set out to find her One. After an arduous journey to a sacred grove, Misty offered a moonlight prayer to the Goddess of the Glade, just before a lunar eclipse. Her prayer was answered with the coming of the dawn.

When Misty summoned her One, her Companion, she was stunned with joy. No mere panther, nor raven appeared. It was none other than Brooke, back from the spirit realm.

Reunited, Misty decided to seek out this University, and learn more of her magic, and the lands of men.
