She tries to always do good, and keeps a level head in almost any given situation. She is sweet almost to the point of appearing naive, yet she is actually fairly intelligent.

She is very compassionate, and constantly tries to further her wisdom and knowledge by making pilgrimages to distant lands.

Devon remembers nothing of her parents, having been an orphan from birth. She was quickly taken in by a man named Esper, who was actually the product of a mating between a Red Dragon and a forest Nymph. He struggled to break away from his evil roots, and in doing so he instilled in Devon the urge to always do what is right and good. They are rarely seen apart, as they share a bond as close as that of brother and sister.

However, Devon's pilgrimages require her to leave what is known behind from time to time, and thus Esper is unable to travel with her on the odd occasion.
