Tam was always serious and focused especially so for a Halfling, while his peers got into mischief or whiled away the hours with a fine Ale and Tabac Tam spent his time listening to the town council, priests, and other leaders discuss politics and border security. At an early age he fell in with the Church of Avoreen the Defender and took his weapons and Clerical training to heart. Frequently volunteering for late night watches on the wall or other unpopular duties. Upon receiving his full Clerical initiation he foreswore strong drink, swearing he would imbibe nothing that would interfere with his vigilence. Realizing that so many of the threats facing Mosstone originated outside the realm of the small town, Tam resolved to go forth and seek out those threats. He took with him a silvered shield reputed to have magical properties that was gifted to him by the chief of his order. Now this serious little fellow finds himself in a very large world, trying to find a way to make a difference.
