Grognar's origins are unknown. An elderly human druid named Hira found him stranded in a forest as a baby and raised him as her own child. The old woman was quite a hermit, and as a result, Grognar has had little interaction with the outside world. Hira taught Grognar the secrets of the wild, but little about dealing with others. Hira just recently passed away, and now Grognar is trying to find his own place in the world. He has little experience with civilization but has enough natural curiosity to want to learn more about it.
