Cole Goodman is a young cleric of Grolm. He was orphaned at the age of 10, when his family froze to death during a particularly harsh winter. They were only poor farmers, and things looked pretty grim for Cole. The local priest took pity on him and took him under his wing. Cole was very grateful to the priest and his god, and he sought to repay them for their kindness by becoming a priest himself. He found himself well-suited to the role, and with his natural intuition his studies progressed rapidly. Having completed his training and formal ordination, he was prepared to settle down and eventually take over the local parish, but some of his local friends seem to have been hit by the adventuring bug, and he feels they might need his protection.
