Harold is the black sheep of his family. Traditionally the Thrainjaarl family serves as warriors to the royal house. They are quite proud to have family members who have given their lives in every war that their clan has fought in for it’s entire history. The family is known to be quite stodgy and conservative (even for dwarves), that is except for Harold. Early on Harold was trouble, playing practical jokes rather than taking his lessons seriously. Finally after a particularly embarrassing incident with a fish, a string and the royal koi-pond that involved the Kings grandmother he was packed off to a local monastery. Once there he showed a surprising talent in the priesthood and became a dedicated follower of the trickster god.
