Dezran Littlefellow
Dezran Littlefellow, a Forest Gnome, was born to a long line of Rangers and Druids. His clan had looked after their forest for centuries, but Dez never felt the call of nature the same way as the rest of his family. While he did love and respect Nature, he always felt the call of the Arcane in his blood. He was trained in the Druidic arts at a young age, and understands the powers of Nature to a small degree. He, however, began studying the Arcane whenever he could get time away from his duties. Using books he "borrowed" from passing mages, he studied wherever he could. His particular talents lie with Elemental Magics, particularly Fire... This, of course, is not a good thing in a forest, and after having a bit of an accident during an experiment, his studies were discovered by his parents. He was forbidden to practice Magic ever again, and forced to redouble his efforts as a Druid. Heartbroken, he did as he was told until a passing mage gave him a scroll that was to transport him to an Academy far away where he could learn in peace away from his family... Typically, the casting went a little awry when he tried to read the scroll, and he suddenly found himself somewhere else...
Dez is generally a bit absent-minded and preoccupied with anything magical. He carries a journal in which he writes odd notes to himself which on different occasions seem to be in different places in the book. He is good and kind with something of a Chaotic streak... Basically, he doesn`t approve of strict rules, that to him do not make sense. Though he does have a strong sense of justice.
