Soren is a proud man and a strict believer of laws and regulations as the only way of prosperity. He believes that common men and women do not know how do run their own lives without rules of behavior. Even a brutal tyrant is a benefit to a society as long as he maintains the laws he has created. Soren sees any kind of freedom in the peasentry as a plague that must be cured.
