Minx d'Jinx earned his nickname when he was a young boy scrubbing the decks of captains' ships as they docked for shore. He was always caught in mischief going through ships treasures, toying with knick knacks, and tinkering with strange artifacts best left alone by others.
As a teenager, Minx picked up many a seamans' tunes and can be heard singing while going about his busy day of cleaning the docks and gambling with the cutthroat acting pirate-wannabees friends he associated himself with.
As he grew into adulthood, he started adventuring across the seas, gaining experience as a shipmate. Always befriending the captains with his knowledge obtained from other shipfarer's adventure stories and informing them with leads on where artifacts are most likely to be found.
Alas, he would always return home after his small adventures with more stories to share entertaining parties at the local taverns. Always having a job to come back to scrubbing the decks if need be.
On one of his latest trips, one of those foggy days, where the mist almost licks the rolling waters of the ocean, right before the ship entered the coast of a majestic port, it was beseiged by a small cutter ship.
A small naval battle ensued and the pirates attempted to board his ship, the defenders held fast and eventually turned them away. It was the first time Minx had ever been involved in such a combat and he found that although scared he kept on singing and his voice carried on, strengthening the courage of those nearby, able enough to hear him.
One of the fleeing injured pirates dropped a small sack on his escape, Minx noticed and quickly retrieved it in secret. Inside the sack he found a harmonica. He noticed after playing it for a while that if he hit played the right notes somtimes he could put listeners to sleep. He calls this tune "Lullaby".
