Amethyst is a strange person with a past shrouded in mystery he looks about 20 but his true age is uncertian. There are no records of him ever being born, nor are there any records of his immigration. He seems to be well known and often spoken about, but little is actually known about him. Some theories claim that he is a dark entity which came through planar travel while others portray him as a hero in disguise who hides behind a secret identity. You can tell by the way he walks that he is trained in the martial arts. Perhaps he was formerly a monk who belonged to a secretive order that seeks to hunt him down for leaving the monastery. On the outside, he portrays a happy and self satisfying indavidual who lives an enjoyable and carefree life on the edge. He cares mostly about himself, always stays focused on the present and works as a sellsword for anyone who will reward his efforts with something. But few know of how he actually feels behind the mask he puts on for society. The feeling Amethyst knows the most is longing. He seems to have lost something, something very important that mattered a lot to him. He's a changed peson without it and almost seems like an empty shell which housed the former person's life. He travels often, always on the move and never staying in one place for long. He could be running from something or perhaps he is just stricken with wanderlust. Either way, he does not feel comfortable anywhere he goes. Amethyst is a strange person but not at all unapproachable. He has become a good though often distant friend to many of the people he has come across. He may have a solitary nature and care for himself above others, he values friendship to a high degree. Some people have come to know him very well, but it would be a rare indavidual who would be told the story of how he came to be. But those that do get to know him often say that he seems to have been much more then he currently is. Perhaps he chose to take a fall in class to become what he is now. The reason like many other things about him, is still a mystery.
