Shady is to put it simply, a gambler. His life is ruled by the roll of the dice and thats the way he likes it. Finding that he had the talent for sorcery just helped him try to keep in trouble while doing it. Unfortunately Sorcery can only help you so much when you gamble foolishly. He can't seem to stop, no matter how much in debt he got. And boy did the get in debt a lot.
